⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Twin Lakes Recovery Center truly changed my life. I attended the program in 2020, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible staff and support I received there. Going into recovery is one of the scariest things a person can do, but Twin Lakes made me feel seen, supported, and cared for from the very beginning. They gave me hope when I couldn’t find it myself and helped lay the foundation for the life I have today. Recovery isn’t easy, but having the right people beside you makes all the difference. I am sure everyone realizes that professionals in the behavioral and mental health field have a difficult and challenging job and I have experienced both the ups and downs, but I have never felt a reason to write a positive review until now. As the legal guardian of my adult daughter, it has been difficult finding the right help that i am comfortable with to help her on her road to recovery but my recent experience with Ridgeview institute Monroe has been a positive one. I spoke with several behavioral therapists to get an update on my daughter, and they were all very professional, but Coresa Thomas took her duty of care to a higher level that I did not expect. She literally went above and beyond what I think is normal considering her workload to explore every possible resource and placement option for my daughter, maintaining consistent communication with me and acting as a true advocate for our family. And she is a great listener with relevant questions and encouraging responses. She said she would call me back with an update, and that is exactly what she did. It is impressive that she can manage her workload especially considering I am sure there are many more cases like my daughter that she is handling and my family recognizes that she, including the rest of the team, does not have an easy job and we appreciate everything that you do especially in today's world. In addition, she helped manage the process to place my daughter at a different provider for continuation of care and this took a load off of us because we interviewed several providers and got the run around - so I would imagine Coresa and her team had to do the same thing. She did not ask for a review, which is surprising, so I took it upon myself to ask her if it was ok for me to write a review on her level of services. My experience with Coresa at Ridgeview Institute Monroe should be written up as a "best practice" for other providers / institutions to follow as a standard of duty of care for working with those of behavioral and mental health challenges. Navigating behavioral health challenges for a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences a parent can face. From the moment I began working with Coresa, her professionalism and heart shone through. In healthcare, it is rare to find someone who not only performs their job with exceptional competence but also brings profound empathy to every interaction. Coresa’s tireless efforts, transparency, and genuine care have given me and my daughter's mom a tremendous peace of mind during a critical time. She represents the absolute best of Ridgeview Monroe Acute Behavioral Hospital. It is a great relief that my daughter is safe, in good care, and that I have found a compassionate advocate in Coresa. When navigating mental health care, finding someone who genuinely listens and works tirelessly for loved ones, and family makes all the difference. I wanted to ensure that her leadership team and families with loved ones who are looking for a high level of duty of care is aware of the incredible impact she and Ridgeview are making. Professionals like Coresa are a rare gift to families in crisis, and her efforts deserve the highest praise and recognition.

I have been going to the Monroe, Ga. location for over 20 years. I have had good experiences in most everything. I don't do good with counseling. The nurse Janice, is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to help any way she can. She is trying to retire I'm sure gonna miss her. Maureen is another great np. I recommend this place.

Reviewing from a perspective of both personal experience as well as that of a loved one. MARR is an excellent choice for treatment, the staff all competent and qualified. There are doctors and nurses on staff/on site. Everyone works around the clock for the benefit of their residences - there is absolutely no other program that provides as complete of care as MARR does. They offer intensive care through every stage of recovery for each client. There are few other programs that provide extensive, long term, physical and emotional level care, individual and group therapy, teaches applicable life skills as well as drug and alcohol education and support. I have seen MARR do wonders for many people, from all backgrounds and situations, and leading to clients actively living productive, happy, substance free lives and contributing to the world and people around them. All of this and at a ridiculously affordable rate comparably.

MARR holds a very special place in my heart. I love it. It was everything I had heard previously to going there (the best way to describe it is “big girl rehab”.). If you want to get and stay sober MARR can help you. It does make sad that there have been so many changes since I have gone through the program. First time visiting any VA facility, and for the most part, I was pleasantly surprised! First let me start with the greeting I got before I walked through the door. The security officer, April. When I say this young lady should be the face of any establishment, I’m not lying! Just a warm and genuine person! She directed me where to go and what I needed. I didn’t catch the name of the young lady at the receptionist desk. But this particular day ( not sure if it was her regular desk or not) she was sitting all the way to your left, as you’re facing the desks. But she was so pleasant and friendly also. Back to April. While I sat in the waiting area, I listened to her greet every individual that came through that door, and she knew about 90% of them by name! She told me when arrived, welcome to the best VA facility in Georgia. Again, can’t say enough about this woman! From there, I went to the triage, and that was also a pleasant experience. Went back out to the waiting area to wait for the doctor. Wasn’t pleased with the long wait time, but she, Dr. Khan, apologized right off the bat. She said she had an older vet and his wife in there before me, and he liked to talk. Which I totally understand and was appreciative of her for letting me know. But all in all, it was definitely a plus for this first timer! Now for the con: parking was awful! The Va definitely needs to invest in a larger facility and a bigger parking lot! Semper Fi!

My son had been to many rehabs that we had to pay a lot for. They were 6 week programs so they never worked!! When my son got arrested someone said let him go to the potters house I did research and said let's do this one!! It has been nothing but a blessing in our lives!! I finally have my son back!!!! The one I knew that was there!!!! He told me ......( mama I can finally get up to an alarm clock)!!!!! That's small to most but huge for us!!!!!!!!he has a full time job which he had never had before!!!! That's a huge step also!! The potters house has changed his life for the good!!!! I attended outpatient services at The Recovery Center after attending Serenity Grove for 30 days. The staff at The Recovery Center are very knowledgeable and caring. They offer continuing care as well which has been a great program. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get sober. He isvery intelligent, his teachings were very informative And most importantly, he knows how to communicate with anyone and my last class about self-control Was/is very important to me. The food was really good, like every meal. Mostly all the techs were nice, I think the nurses could’ve been a bit more attentive to the patients. The blankets were warm. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. I wish the bedrooms and bathrooms were thoroughly cleaned. And my bed smelled like pee. I had a tech wipe the mattress down with the purple wipes so I don’t know if it was the mattress or the sheets but at that point throw the whole bed away 😅 Oh! Also, I’d recommend incorporating more therapeutic groups. I know you guys are trying to get your reviews up, it’s not a bad hospital. I appreciate all the positive workers. You all were very kind

They were the 3rd biggest step in my road to recovery. The entire staff that I've had the pleasure of meeting are very kind. I've been coming here over 2 years now, with their help. They have helped me in many more ways than prescribing methadone. They have several counselors for you to speak to and go hand in hand with recovery. They also have certified peers to speak with about anything you may not feel comfortable telling your counselor yet. For the first time in 2 decades, I can truthfully say I am happy to be alive. If you're considering getting sober, don't put it off another day. You're not alone. there are many here who want to help you with your journey to a sober life.
