Known for its large population of Gulf War Veterans, Stapleton, Georgia is also home to Bridges of Hope. This long-term residential program provides a haven for men to connect with a higher power and achieve their addiction recovery goals. You’ll benefit from developing vital life skills and relationships to sustain recovery. What stands out most
For grown men such as myself. Who have made it by in active addiction until it truly became uncomfortable and all of the consequences of the life I was living started to catch up to me. This was just what I needed. If you are ready to get sober and have truly had enough there is no better place! You will dive deep into step work get through all your steps if your willing to be honest follow the program. The results and the experience at BOH and completely up to your willingness to be open to the process and willing to follow some direction. The Mangers and the others there that are there for you the right reasons are truly there to help you. Take the time you have there to be a sponge and soak up everything you can and learn how to live life a new way and this can be a life changing experience if your not willing to do these things it doesn’t matter what treatment center you go to your just doing time and taking up a bed for someone who is truly ready and it can be life or death. Roscoe is there to guide everyone and will always be there for current residents as well as those who are no longer there. He will always answer his phone and spend as much time as needed to help another addict/alcoholic he has truly found his calling in life and if you have the chance to get a bed at the Bridges of Hope I beg of you to hang with the winners, make life long friends and take advantage of every moment you have there. You never know when you leave that you will need the knowledge you learned there to fall back on and if your in a tough spot. Call Roscoe or anyone from the Bridges and they don’t care if your currently a resident or a past resident or in my case a resident who had been there multiple times. No judgement was ever held over my head just Love and friends that truly want to see you change your life. Except the help grow in your sobriety and help the next person. Stay in contact with the ones on the same page and I can tell your from personal experience I have lifelong friends who will always be there for me and any others that may need them. If you are considering going to the Bridges and you are ready to change your life and wiling to follow some simple directions and put in the work it’s truly amazing what God has in store for you. I have seen miracle after miracle. God bless the Bridges of Hope and what they are doing for everyone that walks through the door. You just have to be a man and be willing to do your part.

This place saved my life. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. I thrive there and I’ve met some great guys in the program I’m still friends with.

I can’t say enough great things about Mr. Niles. From the very beginning, he has been professional, supportive, and truly dedicated to helping me work through challenges. He takes the time to listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and provide practical guidance that I can actually apply in my daily life. What really stands out is the way Mr. Niles creates a comfortable and safe space. I always leave our sessions feeling heard, understood, and encouraged. He’s helped me gain clarity in areas where I felt stuck and offered tools to improve my confidence and focus. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your growth, I highly recommend Mr. Niles. Working with him has been a positive and transformative experience.

I have been to many treatment centers during my recovery, but the Bluff has been the best one by far. The entire staff was helpful and I received the support I desperately needed for my recovery. Great experience, Staff was helpful at all levels. From the folks during my intake process down to my final days in the program. The information I received in regards to my addiction has given me the tools needed to be successful in my recovery. I'd like to thank personally my case Mgr John.O and therapist Billy. T for their commitment to me and their ability to customize their teachings for me and really personalized my journey to fit my needs. I didn't feel as if I was a number or just another guy passing through. The night techs were incredible. I have been a patient at Charlie Norwood for a few years. Outside of my VA experience in Springfield, MA this is the only other VA experience I have and I am well pleased with the service I have received to date. I’m extremely grateful to say my care has been extraordinary. The staff at the VA are a microcosm of greater society which is no different than the military. I’ve seen others articulate their not so great experiences and I wish it were different for them. Still, I loath the fact that veterans think every ill in their lives is the responsibility of the government. I’ve never seen so many people purport to be kick-butt take name warriors on active duty but act like they lack the mental dexterity to simply breathe once they become a civilian veteran. I’m am exhausted with these two-bit hustling oxygen thieves doing everything under the sun to fake injuries to garner personal financial gain. You chose to join the military. You have not cornered the market on “American Freedom” as there are plenty other people who have never worn a uniform that have also sacrificed. I’m sick of you greedy thieves hooping and hollering for attention while those who truly have bonafide ocular injuries can barely get their just due because the greedy scofflaws are getting shyt they don’t deserve. Tragically veterans know other veterans are scammers but instead of utilizing the integrity and moral courage we allegedly have to call these hustlers to the carpet, you simply turn a blind eye. Get over yourselves and stop thinking my tax dollars are supposed to fund every move you make and breathe you take!

After numerous hospitalizations and 4 prior treatment centers, Rivermend Health's Bluff Plantation in Augusta was a vital turning point in our son's life. Staff and programs are refreshing and hands down more effective, holistic, professional, communicative, and involved than any others. They passionately work with patients and families to change lives. The follow through with support programs for depression and substance abuse is unprecedented in 10 years of struggle. Guest dosed here while in SC, to be with my daughter while she gave birth to my grandson. My home clinic is the BHG Nashville Treatment Center. I was in and out in minutes, they had my guest dosing paperwork, and all 27 doses ready for me when I got there. Not sure how they bill, but I know in Nashville they tell you the contract says one thing, when it says something else. Aiken BHG was on top of their assignments and did a great job. When I 1st started BHG I was literally the definition of rock bottom, if I would of waited another day to come, I probably wouldn't be making this review right now, fentanyl had taken over my life, when I woke up in the morning F is the 1st thing I would do, and think about, the min my eyes opened I was scheming on how I was going to get my pills for the day and of course my wake up for the next day or I wouldn't be able to get out of the bed. When I 1st walked in them doors and walked up to the reception desk she must of seen the pain and desperation on my face, before I could even say anything, she looked at me and said you can let it all go now, your going to make it, we are going to get through this together and she came out to the waiting area and gave me the mother's hug that I needed so much at that time, well she wasn't the receptionist, who are absolutely great, but her name is nurse Kelly, from that day forward February 16th 2022 I have not touched another fentanyl pill , patch or how ever I could get it in my system. By the grace of God leading me in them doors that day, to a group of some of the most caring people, I'm free , all the staff and counselors are just amazing and Daylin my counselor is beyond great, he has a way to instantly make you feel comfortable and you can tell that this just ain't a pay check to him, you can tell that his concern is sincere and he truly wants to be a part of your journey to be clean if I could give BHG 10 stars I would, Thank you BHG for saving me.

If you are struggling with your mental health and believe that you need to go to a facility, please go here. I can only speak from my experience though, so be sure to read and take into account the other reviews that are posted. The nurses and staff were very kind and considerate. They made sure that I felt comfortable and safe there. They make sure to give you hospital scrubs, socks, toiletries and undergarments if needed. The food there is….interesting. It isn’t too bad, but don’t expect anything Michelin Star rated. The TV is on most of the time, besides when we have group therapy or are getting ready for bed. I will say that this level of care is definitely NOT for everyone, however, i believe that it can help. Overall, very nice facility and staff.
