I was referred to Jones Behavioral Health by a family friend and had the pleasure of being paired with Janiah. She is an amazing therapist who truly encourages thoughtful reflection on life and personal choices. She will laugh with you, she will cry with you and guide you on your healing journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better therapist! Additionally, the front desk staff is consistently welcoming and helpful, ensuring a warm and positive welcome!!
What a hidden gem! The staff is amazing especially the medical department they was able to assist me anyway over and beyond. When I made the ultimate decision to admit myself to this facility, I was greatest decision I've ever made in my life. It was a wonderful journey and a great experience. I learned so much about recovery, I learned so much about myself. They gave me all the tools, information, coping skills to manage myself with my addiction to stay clean and sober.
I am forever thankful and grateful to the entire staff for believing in me, and not giving up on me when I didn't believed myself and for also giving me a new lease on life to be the best of version myself so I can live the life I am supposed to live.

When I was completely hopeless and couldn't stop even when I wanted to, I didn't have anywhere to turn. My family didn't know how to help make the pain stop either but the staff at Athens Area Commencement Center did and they did so with love, compassion, and complete understanding. They saw me as a person in pain and not as a problem and helped me rebuild my life from the inside out.

Stepping Stones to Recovery truly changed my life. When I started their intensive outpatient program, I was struggling and unsure if I could ever break free from addiction. From day one, the staff made me feel welcome and supported. They treated me with respect and compassion, never judging my past but always encouraging my progress.
The group sessions were incredibly powerful—sharing my story and hearing others helped me realize I wasn’t alone. The counselors are knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely invested in everyone’s recovery. Best out- patient services I have connected with. The meetings are so helpful and everyone there truly wants to be there. It is very helpful that the therapists and case managers are not just standard run of the mill strangers, they are in recovery as well so they have the same experiences and can truly understand how hard life can be. Stepping Stones of Recovery is truly amazing first step to finding your family in healing.

I went to this place on my own with no idea how to stop and now I have graduated and over 2 months sober. They helped me get very affordable health insurance that covered everything! I am grateful for everyone I have met here and for my counselors who I get to keep seeing. The aftercare is free and you can keep going as long as you like. Please give this place a try. The old negative reviews are not my experience at all. It works if you work it.

I been coming to Serenity since I was 15yrs old I’m now 32. I have amazing case worker Ms.jovon she is the most sweetest and caring person I have met in a while and very helpful and understanding I couldn’t ask for a better caseworker!!!
I have been going here for a very long time, this place is not perfect but I can easily say the Current Program Director (Ms Christina) and the nurses (Jo and Shelby) have really done Alot to fix the issues. Before this director there have been times where the wait was over 5 hours! It no longer is like that, she's very nice, the counselors I have encountered are also nice and tend to help. I give the current staff a ton of credit, dealing with really difficult patients and fixing the wait time issues, It's not perfect. I'm sure they're still fixing things but I could definitely say that this facility is so much better than it has been in the past. Great job to the

Hi I want to start off by saying this location has been down to one nurse ms joy to dose today and 2 the last several days and they have been putting in extra hours to make sure every one is getting there meds the director and ms Alisha was also helping cause wait time is 5 hours these workers all deserve a huge shout out and a raise for keeping there cool and fretting everyone out and passing out take Homes to those who get them I’m very thankful!!!!thanks to all the staff !!!!!!! we do recover

After numerous hospitalizations and 4 prior treatment centers, Rivermend Health's Bluff Plantation in Augusta was a vital turning point in our son's life. Staff and programs are refreshing and hands down more effective, holistic, professional, communicative, and involved than any others. They passionately work with patients and families to change lives. The follow through with support programs for depression and substance abuse is unprecedented in 10 years of struggle. They treat the whole person and are teaching life skills that our son needs to live as he recovers. So helpful that insurance covers most of the costs.
I waited late in life to go to a rehab facility...but this was the absolute best decision I made in my life short of accepting christ as my lord and savior ans my children. Thank you momma barns and pastor keith for giving this old country pumpkin a chance. .love you .

I came through drug court in 2018 I went to the program Miss Sherry Miss Dolly walk me to that program change my life and later on make sure you call me up to keep up my meetings and then I ended up o a coordinator I love that job so much but when you have to deal with everyone's problems life situations every night it gets hard when you're trying to still fix yourself but I loved that job no I'm not exaggerating at all I love doing those guys and working through their problems it took so much out of my soul so when I had a filler staff member basically I thought he was attacking me and telling me what I needed to do and barking at me I didn't take it right so I stepped away from recovery I have no hate towards him but I've been around long enough to know all the dirt but I will never pass the dirt on unless it's needed so be careful Palm House

I was overwhelmed and had some trouble coming off of my meds and ended up being able to stay at Lighthouse for a few days and it was truly such a great and wholesome experience! There are SO many staff members who genuinely care about the patients.

Alliance recovery center has been a LIFE changer for me in SO many ways. I have 5 yrs of sobriety and have a network of Amazing angels that have become like family! And the staff you couldn't ask for any better ❤️ we need more places and people like these guys ❤️
This place has been a life-changer for my son. He recently completed the twelve month program after years and two near death experiences due to substance abuse. He voluntarily chose to go because he literally had nowhere left to stay. The Foundation took him in and gave him structure and stability as well as a program to start a new sober way of life. We are forever grateful for the staff and mentors of this facility. It really does reinforce my belief that we humans can help one another and hope is alive and well. I brought a family member here a fee years back. Its truly Amazing what God did in his life at this center. Its an amazing peace of land,Blessed and set apart just right for the healing! The care and guidance from the staff wonderful. I would recommend any one that’s broken to start first on their knees but, when you lift your head call and enroll here to get your life back! -If you truly... TRULY want to get your life together, this is the place for you. You can show up with nothing, you will be clothed, fed and given a bed to sleep in. There is a daily schedule with classes that help instill structure and stability. Clients are given a generous amount of Grace when it comes to program participation as us as addicts are often not a fan of authority. The Potter's House is a place with amazing opportunities for any addict that wants to get clean and have the tools to succeed in life beyond the "Eagles".
-I spent two years of my life here throughout various stages of the program. I am now working a job I never would have dreamed of and am loving the life I am living. I showed up to this past Christmas with gifts for my family for the first time in my life. I am 32. My Mom and I's relationship has never been better. There's too many blessings to count.
The staff is very supportive and approachable. I highly recommend their program.

I attended outpatient services at The Recovery Center after attending Serenity Grove for 30 days. The staff at The Recovery Center are very knowledgeable and caring. They offer continuing care as well which has been a great program. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get sober. I have been sober for a little over a year now and they helped get me here.

After I completed a 30-day inpatient program with their sister company, Serenity Grove, I decided to do two months of outpatient treatment. It was so nice to be able to transition from inpatient to outpatient with the same counselors and clients. It made me feel safe and more relaxed in a familiar setting. I added to the tools that I had learned at Serenity Grove and continued to work on my sobriety without going straight back to the "real world". I cannot thank AARC enough for their care. I still go once a week to their Continuing Care program, and I can do that for as long as I will ever need!
The Oaks is where life begins anew. I went to the Oaks after drinking and more. How I got there is a story in its self. What I encountered at the Oaks was unbelievable. People who understood me and my problems. Then I was handed the book and my life changed. After my time there I’ve helped a few men myself get there lives back the same way. Once you learn the program you’ll have a better understanding of how to handle life.
Since leaving the Oaks I’ve had many many great days. I’ve had meaningful relationships with people. I may have left my drinking buddies behind but I’ve gained some real friends.
If you’re in need of help or someone you know does consider the Oaks because it worked for me when I thought nothing would.

Oaks Recovery saved my life and my marriage! My husband went to The Oaks in September 2024 and I followed him to Willow House 2 months later. Seeing my husband be restored through working his program at Oaks Recovery I wanted what he had and I knew where to find it. Oaks Recovery is a SOLUTION based treatment center for substance and alcohol abuse! Beyond that The Oaks has definitely become family and home to us. My husband is 6 months clean and I am 4 months and counting. The staff is phenomenal! Was at SummitRidge for almost two months in their partial hospitalization program after experiencing psychosis and general dysregulation. I could not recommend the program more highly. The staff, especially Beth and Taylor, were kind and competent and did everything they could to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Would highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with their mental health and is open to learning skills to ameliorate it.
For grown men such as myself. Who have made it by in active addiction until it truly became uncomfortable and all of the consequences of the life I was living started to catch up to me. This was just what I needed. If you are ready to get sober and have truly had enough there is no better place! You will dive deep into step work get through all your steps if your willing to be honest follow the program. The results and the experience at BOH and completely up to your willingness to be open to the process and willing to follow some direction. The Mangers and the others there that are there for you the right reasons are truly there to help you. Take the time you have there to be a sponge and soak up everything you can and learn how to live life a new way and this can be a life changing experience if your not willing to do these things it doesn’t matter what treatment center you go to your just doing time and taking up a bed for someone who is truly ready and it can be life or death. Roscoe is there to guide everyone and will always be there for current residents as well as those who are no longer there. He will always answer his phone and spend as much time as needed to help another addict/alcoholic he has truly found his calling in life and if you have the chance to get a bed at the Bridges of Hope I beg of you to hang with the winners, make life long friends and take advantage of every moment you have there. You never know when you leave that you will need the knowledge you learned there to fall back on and if your in a tough spot. Call Roscoe or anyone from the Bridges and they don’t care if your currently a resident or a past resident or in my case a resident who had been there multiple times. No judgement was ever held over my head just Love and friends that truly want to see you change your life. Except the help grow in your sobriety and help the next person. Stay in contact with the ones on the same page and I can tell your from personal experience I have lifelong friends who will always be there for me and any others that may need them. If you are considering going to the Bridges and you are ready to change your life and wiling to follow some simple directions and put in the work it’s truly amazing what God has in store for you. I have seen miracle after miracle. God bless the Bridges of Hope and what they are doing for everyone that walks through the door. You just have to be a man and be willing to do your part.

This place saved my life. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. I thrive there and I’ve met some great guys in the program I’m still friends with.

They were the 3rd biggest step in my road to recovery. The entire staff that I've had the pleasure of meeting are very kind.
I've been coming here over 2 years now, with their help. They have helped me in many more ways than prescribing methadone. They have several counselors for you to speak to and go hand in hand with recovery. They also have certified peers to speak with about anything you may not feel comfortable telling your counselor yet. For the first time in 2 decades, I can truthfully say I am happy to be alive.
If you're considering getting sober, don't put it off another day. You're not alone. there are many here who want to help you with your journey to a sober life.
