Best out- patient services I have connected with. The meetings are so helpful and everyone there truly wants to be there. It is very helpful that the therapists and case managers are not just standard run of the mill strangers, they are in recovery as well so they have the same experiences and can truly understand how hard life can be. Stepping Stones of Recovery is truly amazing first step to finding your family in healing.

I went to this place on my own with no idea how to stop and now I have graduated and over 2 months sober. They helped me get very affordable health insurance that covered everything! I am grateful for everyone I have met here and for my counselors who I get to keep seeing. The aftercare is free and you can keep going as long as you like. Please give this place a try. The old negative reviews are not my experience at all. It works if you work it.

I was a patient at Three Rivers and it was a good experience for me. The staff were kind and caring towards the patients, and seemed to really want to help. I felt safe because of the many precautions taken by the staff. I liked the group sessions and activity therapy. Overall, it was a good experience for me.

The rudest people ever they have no sympathy for those that truly need help they cuss the patients out. It’s dirty smells horrible! The health care system is horrible they keep people in rooms for hours. You almost never see your doctor and they do not care about people’s well being! I’d never recommend this place it’s a health code violation place needs to be sued and shut down!

I have been going here for a very long time, this place is not perfect but I can easily say the Current Program Director (Ms Christina) and the nurses (Jo and Shelby) have really done Alot to fix the issues. Before this director there have been times where the wait was over 5 hours! It no longer is like that, she's very nice, the counselors I have encountered are also nice and tend to help. I give the current staff a ton of credit, dealing with really difficult patients and fixing the wait time issues, It's not perfect. I'm sure they're still fixing things but I could definitely say that this facility is so much better than it has been in the past. Great job to the

Hi I want to start off by saying this location has been down to one nurse ms joy to dose today and 2 the last several days and they have been putting in extra hours to make sure every one is getting there meds the director and ms Alisha was also helping cause wait time is 5 hours these workers all deserve a huge shout out and a raise for keeping there cool and fretting everyone out and passing out take Homes to those who get them I’m very thankful!!!!thanks to all the staff !!!!!!! we do recover

After numerous hospitalizations and 4 prior treatment centers, Rivermend Health's Bluff Plantation in Augusta was a vital turning point in our son's life. Staff and programs are refreshing and hands down more effective, holistic, professional, communicative, and involved than any others. They passionately work with patients and families to change lives. The follow through with support programs for depression and substance abuse is unprecedented in 10 years of struggle. The Oaks is where life begins anew. I went to the Oaks after drinking and more. How I got there is a story in its self. What I encountered at the Oaks was unbelievable. People who understood me and my problems. Then I was handed the book and my life changed. After my time there I’ve helped a few men myself get there lives back the same way. Once you learn the program you’ll have a better understanding of how to handle life.
Since leaving the Oaks I’ve had many many great days. I’ve had meaningful relationships with people. I may have left my drinking buddies behind but I’ve gained some real friends.

Seeing my husband be restored through working his program at Oaks Recovery I wanted what he had and I knew where to find it. This place saved my life. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. I thrive there and I’ve met some great guys in the program I’m still friends with.

The staff is great. Mrs. Sheryl is always helpful, Reggie is running that place just right. And my counselor is very professional and considerate of my needs. Tiffany and Elise are very good at there job. They get you right in and out. They have changed my life for the better in just a few days. I normally don’t do these but I was so impressed with the services I received from Dr. Caldwell at Advantage. He was more concerned about finding out the truth and getting to the root of the problem than anything else. He wasn't trying to push medication on me or bill the insurance. He was more concerned with my health than anything. Would have given him 10 stars if it were an option. But the whole center in itself was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for mental health needs!!

Before I found this place I was in a dark place in my life with my addictions. The night before I found this wonderful new family I have now, I was ready to give up. I was never much of a drinker but they welcomed me with open arms and accepted me as I was. I now know I was a Alcoholic in my ways, we are share the same feelings, emotions, trauma and depression that controlled our lives that lead us down a road of despair. After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there.
I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more.
Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey.

I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren't just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

I could not be more grateful for the care I received here. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you are always comfortable. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches!
The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. While here, I was not just a junkie, just an alcoholic, a lost cause, all of the negative adjectives I used to describe myself. I wasn't the things my family called me. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. They made me want it because they made me see I deserve it, I deserve to live a good life and be happy. If you are thinking about making some changes, please come here. What do you have to lose?

This clinic does not prioritize patience nor respect of time. Took my mother here to see her doctor. That apt went fine. Was told we had to wait for the nurse to administer meds for my mom. Waited close to 90 mins for the nurse to get back from her hour lunch. Had I not been with my mom

I honestly would of gave it a 5 star. But a couple of staff were not nice to me. It was mostly night shift. One made fun of me Stimming and i have Autism. She laughed at me stimming on my tippy toes. Jenesia a tech is very rude. Told me i couldn’t go on my tippy toes. That its not allowed, but thats my way of coping/stimming. That i needed a doctor’s order. Which i didn’t i talked to the doctor. I understand the reason why they have to keep the doors open all night. But they could of at least dimmed the lights. It kept going in my eyes and waking me up. I didnt get much sleep being there. That doesn’t help me with my physical conditions.
Now for the compliments. Unit 2 overall is such a good unit. I did get treated like a human being I felt safe, and supported. Not like the other ones i have been to that made me feel horrible like we weren’t human beings. Dr.Feldman Lance, now hes the best doctor I have had in any mental health facility. He actually listens to u(if ur not mean or give attitude) and he gets things done. He is also so sweet and very nice, and understanding. I don’t like talking alone to males but with him I was ok. He is nice and gave a nice vibe! Megan the tech is another great staff member! She made me feel safe while I was there. I could talk to her about anything! She was just there! Shes so nice too. Then there is Abby another tech. Shes super nice as well! She helped me calm down . She let me keep stimming on my tippy toes even when other staff said i couldn’t. That made me cry and get upset because they said I couldn’t. But she calmed me down! She is a really good one. And then there is Kenzie the therapist. She was very nice! She cared alot! She listened and helped me understand what I was confused about. She was so sweet! Then there was a group therapist named Kathleen. Oh boy she helped so much! I loved attending her groups when i could of. I am actually going to take what she told us and work on it in my therapy sessions! She made sure everyone got there questions asked. She was really nice because the group room door slams, and I get overwhelmed with that. She made sure it didn’t slam. But overall I would definitely recommend this facility! Now it is different experiences for everyone!
