I've been hooked on meth for 20 years been in and out of jail this is the first time I have ever been sober. Without project Adam this would never be possible. Mike and Gina are the most caring and loving people I've ever met they have helped me so much that I'm in tears writing this.They truly care about there patients but they are also stern they are very serious about there program and are not going to tolerate any crap with out this structure in my life I would be in prison or dead,so I owe them my life cause they helped me to have a life. If anyone has anything bad to say about this program then that is someone that has tried to cheat or beat there program. Mrs McDonald has over 30 years experience in working with people and there drug addiction so she knows what works and has the experience and education and compassion to help anyone that wants treatment.So if you're serious about getting help beyond a shadow of doubt please choose project Adam I'm telling you by experience!

This place is a God send. They will help u in so many ways beside the methadone part. Best recovery choice I ever made 💯❤️❤️

They were the 3rd biggest step in my road to recovery. The entire staff that I've had the pleasure of meeting are very kind. I've been coming here over 2 years now, with their help. They have helped me in many more ways than prescribing methadone. They have several counselors for you to speak to and go hand in hand with recovery. They also have certified peers to speak with about anything you may not feel comfortable telling your counselor yet. For the first time in 2 decades, I can truthfully say I am happy to be alive. If you're considering getting sober, don't put it off another day. You're not alone. there are many here who want to help you with your journey to a sober life.

I recommend this place for anyone that needs help for addiction weather it be alcohol or drugs.

I don't have firsthand experience with treatment here but I can say this is the only place in Toccoa including the "health department" where people are unashamed to talk about HIV prevention and harm reduction. I also know that the staff here go through a lot standing for what they believe is right including police harassment and intimidation for running a program that is 100 percent legal.

WOW!!! What a wonderfully blessed place.. a special place; that as soon as u pull into the driveway , the Presence Of God just envelopes U!! This place & This woman: Stacey Carroll, are both miracles. The much needed structure is within their daily schedule, the term "downtime" isn't an option. The program is packed with classes equivalent to course studies, the Biblical Teachers are knowledgeable with an understanding if the Bible, the atmosphere is one of "kindred spirits".. like that of king David & Jonathon.. or Ruth & Naomi. What is said here, stays here. Stacey Carroll is one the most pure hearted women of God I have ever had the honor to be around. She walks it.. like she talks it!! Backs it up daily, she was more than a role model or an example to me.. she has & is a "big sister" to me. I am an Alumni of Shalom. I stayed at the " farm:" for 9 months, then to the Shalom halfway house until my Motherb had a 2nd massive stroke that killed her swallowing reflexes.. Jesus took her home 1 week to the date of the 2nd stroke... Had I been out there using atthe time of hrb stroke & passing..I know I would inintenionally overedosed. Stacey took me under her wing & I almost bought a house in Belton.. It is 59 minutes Stacey from my place to u!! I will be texting you I a few.. I made you a Peach, with Graham Crustm mixed berries, almonds, chocolate & strawberry syrup with Cool Whip for the top.. I have ftozen this pie.. God willing you will have time for me to bring that pie over today and I will get us some pizza but I have a 10 minute that's running behind and he's got some small children so I got the pie down though do text me back you will have my number or you should and I'll holler at you this morning I've been working a lot at night I'm a certified caregiver and I can do sign language, also. But I have been so crazy busy in this business because there have been three different Court battles headed my way I will be able to retainthat piece of property.. we will talk soon.. love you.. praying for all of you please keep me in your prayers also.. I was absolutely welcomed . I was taken by the testimonies of all the graduating women who still participate in group activities and get together. I was blown away by the many different programs and different stages of recovery on the entire property . I am truly drawn to the precense of the Holy Spirit and his Glory working in and through this ministry.

New Beginnings Inc. Saved my mothers life, Charlen Rowe. We have never been this close, and God restored our relationship. All ever wanted was to have a godly bond with my Mama. Penfield has saved my life. It’s taught me so much about addiction and how to cope with all the struggles it can lead to. The counselors are such amazing, kindhearted people. They truly care about making a difference for everyone there. They have went far above and beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. I highly recommend anyone seeking treatment to attend Penfield.

I will recommend this Christian facility to everyone! There is a family & home type atmosphere that melts even the toughest heart. I learned so much to use in our ministry & God continues to abide with me & teach me new things daily. Penfield uses knowledge, education, personal experiences, fun, day to day work ethics while encouraging personal pride in oneself. I was amazed at the chemical products made available to our young & older alike. Chemical dependency comes in many forms. Social media, mental indiscretions, and so many things sway us today that I feel Penfield helps me understand it from a personal point of view. We attempt to reach out in a good way to those in need & I use so much of the written classroom lessons. But, it has taken me aback at how easily the world can pull us back down. God’s word KJV, shows me the real light that we must cling to daily. 🙏❤️
