If you are serious about getting mental help for mental disorders this is the place to go I've been seeing Kyle for about a month now and he is a really good counselor to take advice from I will continue to be coming back for my treatment and I look forward to sharing good stories with the counselor as the future goes on, and the psychiatrist is a really smart man I can see he's got a good 25 or 30 years of experience in the field at doing what he does best throughout my experience coming here my satisfaction rating is a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale I'd give this place 10 stars if possible.

It took a little over a week for them to first get in touch, but genuine apology was expressed and it seemed like unique circumstances. The evaluation process with Shelley was along the lines of what I expected. Having given thorough histories for other reasons before, I did not find it to be overly invasive. Thorough, not overly time- consuming. Fact- focused, not judgmental. At the end of the evaluation, I was told it may take a week to hear anything. It took longer, but I've my attorney reached out to remind Tools For Life, the response was prompt. Can't give five stars yet because I am still waiting for the last phase of this process to be completed, but so far good people to work with.

Steve helped my daughter with the early intervention counseling program. He made the program relatable to her situation and really helped her understand the outside influences. Overall this place isnt bad its not perfect but its at least the best memtal health service in Ottawa ive been going here for 7 years and ive had multiple therapists and i only had 1 that i would say i wasn't a big fan of the rest of them were decent at worst and amazing at best when it comes to mental health services you could do much worse

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. This place saved my loved ones life. Seriously. He was Deep in addiction when he got here and I was fearful because of the reviews and because his addiction was just so bad I didn’t know if anything was going to help. Before footprints, I was planning to bury my loved one. He is now healthy, clean and sober and has a career. I can never thanks footprints to recovery enough. All the staff was very kind to me when I went to visit and drop stuff off for him. The only reason we’re missing a star is because my loved one had some issues with a staff member named Quan(?) who was being weird to patients. Other than that, amazing experience for my loved one. Thank you guys for saving his life and brightening up mine.

Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. Now I have friends and people I really trust. Which is huge to me with my trust issues. Suncloud taught me that I cannot do this alone and showed me that I wasnt alone. This is a lifelong journey and my life is better now because I chose to do something about it, and Suncloud gave me the tools I needed. While being at RCA I met people who genuinely cared about me getting well. I was a little skeptical at first that what I was experiencing was real, but throughout my stay I found that these people genuinely cared. With their help I learned that the only way that I was going to stay well is by connecting with others who are serious about recovery and by participating in my own recovery. I am sober today because RCA was there for me then and is there for me now via Alumni meetings and events. I want to thank all the staff for their professionalism, genuine care and for just being there when I needed help.

Extremely helpful couple working the mid-counter were able Guide me to the secondary eye clinic, Brenda was super friendly getting me checked into the acute Eye clinic. Additionally while I waited the workers at the coffee lounge we're exceedingly helpful and very cheerful. There was a new female who was very cheerful and was thanking the veterans for there service. In ( the main eye clinc) Dr.Dessler was very thorough ask and educating me on the 4 treatments. Both eye clinics were very transparent. And that is something to be stated. I highly recommend the eye clinics here. 11Nov2025 Downgraded to 1 star Review After " Alexis " (Women Clinic) left a voicemail attempting to get me into an appointment. Alexis left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then lied about an open December appointment. Utilizing words like we only have one doctor that can see people "like you". She then stated that they only have openings for late February. I have never asked for services as a female or Transgender. I'm a guy, period. There is no reason for gender stereotyping because I choose to dress or look a certain way. As such the TSP CPT Dr.Jefferies chose to act with violence during one of our sessions. This is very vindictive behavior. Other than the outstanding lab department & Dr.Riz I do not recommend this location for now. ---------------------- 3Jul2025 (5 Five Review) A great man walked these halls. DR.B will be remembered and mark a standard of care that is yet to be seen at this location. No ceremony for a person who did the right thing always. What a joke how you treat a Doctor who served Veterans for 10 + years. Go to the back where the staff & doctors are sleeping sprawled out on all benches ( like hobos) specifically built gazebos for veterans. You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking a space designed for veterans especially ones that are homeless. ----------------------------- Old Review LGBTQ + Communities are out of this world. Had oral surgery at Hines yesterday. While it still hurts some my experience was positive. Dr. Shahbazian is just fantastic. The procedure was painless and went a lot faster then I thought it would. The people working in the Dental clinic really care and treated me wonderfully. Unfortunately, after the procedure I had gauze in my mouth so I couldn't thank them as much as I wanted to.
