The Boca Recovery Center is a luxury alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in Bloomington, Indiana. They specialize in cutting edge addiction treatment provi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | View Website (930) 200-3145 | Boca Recovery was my saving grace. I was given the ultimatum that if couldn’t get clean from alcohol and marijuana, then I would be removed from my children’s lives and have no chance of getting custody back. As an addict I just didn’t see me able to do this alone. I Google searched top rehabs in Oklahoma, and came across Boca Recovery. When I spoke to a recruiter they informed me that the facility was not in Oklahoma, but he told me not to panic. If I was ready, then all I had to worry about was making sure I was going to board on my scheduled flight. It seemed too good to be true, but sure enough they delivered and made sure I made it there safely. As soon as I stepped foot into the facility the staff treated me with the best care. Not only that, but the facility was very well maintained. You’re seen by a nurse the first day, and they set you up with everything you’ll need for the detox process. All therapist and case managers work together to build the best treatment plan that suits the patient/client. Not to mention the food they provide is amazing! Thanks to Boca recovery I have passed every UA since I’ve been out, and am able to be involved in my children’s lives again. Before arriving to Boca I didn’t see any of this being possible. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction!

BOCA saved my life. It offered me safety, stability, and daily expectations that I needed desperately. From the first day of entering the program the techs were welcoming, understanding, and supportive which eased my anxiety and allowed me to relax. The clinical staff I worked with is amazing and they helped me begin to understand why I needed to be there and pushed me to see that I also deserved happiness and peace of mind. The community that was created during my stay is one that is with me for life. Lifelong friendships have been created and we stay in touch to this day which has been critical for my sense of belonging. Thank you to BOCA in the city of Bloomington, Indiana; you are the starting point to my path of recovery.

My counselor here at PBH not only is listening to the train wreck my life has become, but she s giving me the tools to get things back on track. Highly, highly recommend!!! The counselors I've had there are great. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE DR. Tammy.
I moved here from out of state 3 years ago and had been recieving the same medication for my anxiety and panic attacks for over 20 years. This woman refuses to give me the medicine that I've had continually for all those years. She OUT RIGHT LIED to me about this medication. She said it is Not used for Long term care... even tho i was perscribed it for 20+ years. I have been using them with out asking for increased dosage or amounts. Now, I have become her testing project. How can refusing a patient a medication that Works be how someone conducts their practice. I have gone in 3 times over a 2.5 year period begging to be put back on my regular regimen and have been refused. I would not recommend her to Anyone. I feel absolutely ignored by her and do not trust a word that she says, after all she LIED to my face.

Variety of mental health services available on outpatient basis. 24 hour advance notification required for appointments unable to be attended by consumer. Failure to provide advance cancellation results in policy of non ability to reschedule future appointment. Future appointments must be on a "walk-in" basis, depending on chance of available time openings during certain hours. It is very important and necessary to make every effort to keep or cancel scheduled appointments in advance. Especially known unable to attend or have no intention to keep the scheduled appointment. There are normally consumers waiting or needing appointments cancelled in advance. Fees depend on income and sliding scale. Medicare and Indiana Medicaid accepted, also private insurance accepted with prior arrangement. Psychiatric Outpatient provider available for medication needs weekly when necessary at this location when possible.

This is my second time at Avenue s, and I was welcomed back with loving and supportive arms from all the staff. They congratulated me for coming back and reminded me coming in for treatment is extremely brave. You definitely get out of this place what you put in and then some! I had the best therapists (Julia and Lee) and amazing case management (Melissa). The medical staff is always helpful and pleasant and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to meet my dietary needs, as I have a gluten allergy. I was going to this clinic for 7yrs. I eventually found a point in my life I was ready to taper off the medicine and live my life completely free of mind altering substances. Well not completely free yet. I enjoy my cigs and coffee lol. They will try to counsel you and help you from living a potential terrible lifestyle addicted to opiates. If you want to come off drugs you can. You have to put your mind to it.I started tapering from the methadone even by attempting to lower my dose just 1mg a medically advised method. Which I would recommend. I went from 70mg to 45mg medically advised then I decided to taper faster. The tapering process obviously helped. I know this because I was taking methadone and other opiates in the past and had to quit cold turkey do to being incarcerated. I m grateful for this place as it helped me. I hope it can help the next person.

So I started seeing a therapist about 15 months ago because I just wasn't where I needed to be in life. I had made some questionable choices and because of those I was heading down a dark road, much darker than I even realized at the time. I had no idea what to expect; who else would be there, how is this person going to judge me, what if they see me at the store, are they going to be thinking, really how much longer is this hour? I am going to get asked questions I don't want to talk about, what if I start crying, is that going to be uncomfortable? And every other possible scenario went through my head on the way there.I have never once felt judged, or looked down upon, or felt uncomfortable. I was able to talk about what I needed to without having to explain myself every time I wanted to say something. I was able to ask what I wanted without feeling ashamed of myself or my situation. My therapist didn't push for more than I wanted to share, she was able to give me articles to read, and topics to research. I wasn't told to do this or that, it was always a discussion, and we were able to talk through different situations that could be related to mine.I have learned so much about myself and how to react when situations occur, and the reason why some of my reactions are what they are. I have learned that my mental health is just as important as my physical health and my emotional health. I have learned it's ok to have an opinion and to not sway from those. I learned that just because I ignore the problem it doesn't go away or get better, I have learned to face uncomfortable conversations and that not everything has to be explained.I have been given the resources and have taken the time and have built a new foundation for my life. A solid foundation of self worth and self love, sounds cliche but it is what it is. There are no words to express my gratitude for the services I have received from Headwaters counseling.
