Best Recovery Center ive been involved in. The facility is very clean 👌 huge cabins with plenty of space to enjoy your stay. The staff is amazing...being they've all actually been there in one way or another. The program is honest, direct and full of love ❤️. Beautiful rolling hills full of wooded trails and access to a nice pond for fishing. Hands down best recovery around. I would go again just to put insurance on my sobriety.

I have been going there on and off for 6 years now. That is an awesome place. They have drug rehabilitation groups, drug classes, and their therapists are wonderful. They are kind and respectful, and to top it all off They take your problems and issues seriously!! They also have doctors you can see there as well. They have both mental and physical doctors!

I was there once. I got appointment, fill in the forms,they are accept my emergency insurance. Dr.Bacala was great, she is help me, listen all my problems. I give a four star, because I m await my appointment about 3 weeks. Too long,cause I had a injury of my elbow joint. But another sides of that clinic are positive.

This evaluation is relevant to a clinic visit on August 12, 2026. I was able to check myself in using the VA app. I like that very much...no standing in line. My nurse was on-time, professional and relayed my concerns appropriately. Dr. Phelps is my doctor. I appreciate his simple explanations. He's stuck around long enough for me to feel like he is familiar with my history... that's pretty cool! And...not common, in my experience. Before departure, the appointment clerk schedules the next appointment. The systems approach seems to work here. It doesn't feel impersonal. I hope this helps.

They have a store here with clothing, hygienes, & other items that families might need. Especially when prices are high, & income doesn't always match outgoing. Great treatment experience with knowledgeable staff and nurses. (They had me write this at the end of my stay as a client. They did not tell me to write this specifically however the staff watched as I typed. I was given a phone to place a review on their page as part of my discharge. EVERY client is asked to do this as it exponentially increases their chances of good reviews and gives them digital visibility (very clever). It’s definitely the nicest rehab in KY but when I needed help the most…) BEWARE unless you pay 30k or have commercial insurance you cannot be seen. No riff raff allowed. If you want to get sober go to the Healing Place. They allow mental health meds and MAT now if you need it. There are varying program lengths and housing options depending on your situation. They will love you back to life and you can gain humility! (Core principle of a 12 step program they teach.) The healing place is free and I know many people lost their coverage this year due to the political climate. I would not recommend RAC. KY has some great treatment centers and 99.9% of the time treatment AND sober living is necessary but treatment doesn’t keep you sober. Nor will a 30k massage and great kitchen staff - which they are - if you are gonna drop that much money I would go to Cumberland Heights or the Bluffs. QUALITY healthcare services should be accessible to everyone. Not just the rich and you shouldn’t have to go into debt. This is life and unfortunately death. But hey, what do I know? I would recommend this place for sure especially their PHP program, it was my very first time coming here and to be honest i was very nervous and scared but it was actually a lot more welcoming than i thought and i think theres alot of good people here, and alot of people that help, especially the therapists, ive done 3 full months as a teen and i would say it was definitely a life changing experience and i made so many connections and friends, and i just took so much from this place, and i learned so much about myself as well, 100% recommend PHP and their IOP program.

I enjoyed the virtual IOP treatment more than I thought I would. It worked well with my work schedule and I got to be comfortable at home as well as being comfortable in the group. I was able to connect and exchange information with my peers and expand my recover/Sobriety network!

When I arrived at Tara, I was as low as I had ever been. I couldn’t be more grateful for the decision I made to go there. Every member of the staff truly cared about me and my recovery. It changed my life in the most positive way. The schedule and curriculum required hard work and consistency, but helped me get back into a routine of living. I learned so much about myself, grew my fellowship, and made friendships I see being lifelong. I have since continued their aftercare programs and have experienced nothing but great things throughout my time there, as well. I am responsible for my recovery journey, but Tara has and will continue to have a major role in my success during my journey. Update: 8/25/2026 - still sober!! 🥰 I checked in here (when it was still Landmark Recovery) on 01/07/2018 and have been sober ever since. This is the place where I learned how to start my new journey of recovery, and they helped me to build a solid foundation and gave me the tools to understand my addiction, its triggers, and how to cope with them. I cannot recommend them enough. They saved my life and I will be forever grateful to them.

My son has a new life ahead of him now and I couldn't be more thankful!! Other locations and programs just didn't work because they had no genuine concern. My husband had surgery at the Louisville VA Medical Center, and the care he received before, during, and after surgery was incredible. Dr. Klein, Roberto, and the entire team were supportive, patient, and made sure he was comfortable every step of the way while also keeping me informed. The follow‑up after surgery was excellent as well — any time we called with questions, they were kind and quick to help. The VA physical therapy staff were energetic, encouraging, and made recovery something my husband actually looked forward to. Thanks to their guidance, we are back to enjoying time together for outdoor activities. We’re both incredibly grateful for the care he received and words really are not enough to share our gratitude for every interaction before, during, and after his procedure. This place is great. Doctors and all staff. I have been to ER twice and had a 5 day stay. I have had appointments in various apartments. I have been treated by great caring Doctors and Nurses. I have also had community services to get treatment faster then VA could provide,they sent me to a Saint surgeon known as Dr Yakkanti U OF L. The pharmacy has been most helpful. Community Services has been very responsive. When you walk down the hallway at Rex VA. Your brothers and sisters always are kind. Everyone acts like they know and want to help you. I am sorry some are upset about a problem. You deserve your say and fight. I hope you get it resolved. I deserve mine to. THANK YOU REX VA FOR KEEPING ME IN THE FIGHT OF LIFE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I believe that this place offers a great service to the Louisville Community. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now.
