Love having this clinic available. It is so convenient for me to drive here rather than the drive to Louisville. The faculty is delightful and always has a positive attitude. They are also quick on making appointments and setting up referrals.

Great staff, had some issues with the food but they were taken care of quickly. Felt safe and secure here and well taken care of. Definitely deserves the praise it gets, it's one of the best mental health facilities I've been to or even heard about.

Some, among the homeless, seem to struggle with what The Healing Place helps - anyone, in need, get away from, yet, it's up to an individual to sign-up.
On the other hand, I'm struggling to keep what, little income I'm allowed to have, as housing wants a percentage - no matter how small, & I can't afford any housing agreement.

Ive been with Brightview for 6 months now and I love it here the doctors and nurses are the nicest people ive ever dealt with in my situation now the front desk people can get a little overwhelmed but they try their hardest to make sure everyone is seen in a timely matter they have had some issues but they are getting better i recommend to everyone i know that needs the help.... also my social worker at brightview is the best I absolutely love her

I had the best experience at turning point center! The techs, nurses, therapists and case managers REALLY care! I have to give a special shout out to the techs that really took time to pour into each client individually. The food is great and if you come there with just the clothes on your back they will make sure you have everything you need and more. NA/AA meetings are brought into the facility multiple times a week and you are given the option to go to an outside meeting every week day after lunch. It’s a smaller facility so I felt like I was taken care of and beyond! The staff truly cares! Thanks for an AMAZING experience!

So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don’t want to truly get clean it’ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that’s not true. I didn’t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. It was a safe healing place and if you’re needing help this is the place to go ❤️🩹

Hi this is Brandon Burton (05/17/2000) i just wanted to take a min to show my appreciation for CRT Rocky Ford House in Columbus Indiana. I wouldn't be the strong minded person that i am today if it wasn’t for all of their support, help, and guidance. I wanna take this time to show my up most appreciation for each staff member there, because each of them impacted me greatly.
Rachael always took time out of her day to make sure i had everything i needed, made sure i understood what was being taught to me in MRT and IOT, and she ALWAYS had the best classes. She made her classes fun and she explained things in a way that i could understand. She gave me support in every aspect of my life. I know that if i had something going on i could take it to her and she wouldnt go and tell someone else my business, and she would give me the best suggestions possible.
Tacara was amazing as well, she had my back in the program from the jump. She always gave me straight up honest answers, and she always helped me in the spiritual side of my recovery. We talked about God alot and i just really appreciated having a sister in christ there to talk about God with everyday.
Austin was my dude forreal. Ive liked Austin since i met him at the Whitney house when he was the recovery works grant guy. For some reason i was always drawn to Austin, he always gave me straight answers, never sugar coated anything, and didnt judge me for who i am. Not to mention hes funny as heck! I remember going into his office almost everyday just to talk to him and tell him jokes. Lol i hope ur seein this G-Eazy, i appreciate you having my back, and giving me a chance in the program!
Kathy was ALWAYS just the sweetest! She showed me sooo much support when it came to my relationship stuff and she helped us with anything we brought to her attention. worst hospital. the staff were extremely rude. I’ve been battling some illness for almost two weeks now & the medicines they prescribed were ibuprofen & tylenol. I have a bad cough, inflamed throat, & swollen lymph nodes, etc. I’m still in excruciating pain writing this. this was the only hospital I was able to go to because i’m a UK student with no transportation. there was even blood going into my IV & when I pressed the call light they told me someone was on the way. I waited for about 20 minutes & then pressed the call light again. I asked the nurse if this was something i should be worried about & she said no then proceeded to hang up in my face. The security officer at the door was nicer than the nurses & doctors here.

There are a couple of staff that are very helpful. However, the majority of staff and the convulated system to access needed care seems more designed to kill the patient as dealing with them increases stress and blood pressure risks for stroke and heart attack. I seem to spend more time being pissed off by the VA than getting healthier

So now he aspirates and feeling in his right lung try to make an appointment talk to the nurse she said next week talk to the scheduler they said next month my husband said it was a waste of time And I kind of believe him and the only thing they’re gonna do for him is telling him to take some Tylenol he says he can feel something is wrong and if his provider does not take him serious and is concerned and pushes out an appointment for a whole month just so they can draw blood there’s something wrong

Regarding the Fairbanks Addiction Medicine Clinic. Do not bring yourself or your loved ones here. They want repeate customers who come monthly for their shot for the rest of their lives. They treat you like an uppity junkie if you ask them to do anything other than make an appointment. They cannot reach, do not know, and cannot say anything regarding helping you. Frustrated or upset? Well that's just another reason you can be dismissed and diminished as a problem, an addict, you know how-they-are. And, if you can't do the shot, and you ever have trouble or need help with the meds that don't require monthly appointments, good luck getting anyone on the phone. And if there is an emergency or you're really struggling and are in a damgerous spot... these are absolutely the last people you should call. Once you do get to your doctor -- the care couldn't be better, but every other step of interacting with this place is a nightmare. Especially the women in the office who could not care less.

This place is great! I was in Community Fairbanks for 28 days. They got me up early, on a schedule, groups were great and so was the food. I miss their breakfast! The staff is excellent; specifically Kyle and Cathy. Plenty of smoke breaks. They set me up with SLP (Sober Living.) I’m looking at volunteering. I feel the need to give back. Overall a great experience!

Before Hickory I’ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very “surfaced”. The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT’s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else…. It’s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. I have and will continue to recommend Hickory House to people that are struggling with addiction because of what they have done and meant to me in my life.
