I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff at Transitions Recovery become your family. They care about your success. They help you find ways to believe in yourself when others said no to you. I came here as a Tina addict with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. As I finish my time at Transitions, I’m leaving with a group of friends, a home group, a sponsor, and a real job. If it wasn't for Douglas garden I don't know where I would be because they have help me a lot . They have help me mentally and physically I was in a really bad situation. I was in lotus house for 3 months and then from there I came to Douglas garden. I was living also with a friend it's was termorary. The situation at the house at first was good until it was bad. If it wasn't for Douglas garden and for all the help and the therapy and doctor I wouldn't know where I would be so thank you Douglas garden.

Douglas Gardens Community Mental Health was a good place from my experience of 4years, the only odd thing is that they do not provide virtual services. I had a case worker named Joyce and I recommend anyone ask her to be their caseworker. She wasn’t just a case worker; she was also a person who seriously helped people through their emotional and mental issues. She is also a person to ask for help if you need help

Possibly the best detox I have been to. They medicate you well so it's not over or under, extremely comfortable rooms, and they do their best to allow you to rest but stay occupied at the same time. They are not the most organized with setting up and verifying after care but detox itself was wonderful.

Summer house is an amazing place to detox at with excellent service, the staff were so helpful and kind.. I would truly recommend this place to any loved one that is ever having to deal with addiction.. Great hospitality, great food, and genuine love/care!! I had an amazing experience at Summerhouse! The staff was kind, supportive, and welcoming throughout my stay. I especially want to recognize Jen and Daphne—they are truly the best techs there! They were always caring, patient, and willing to help whenever I needed something. Their positive attitudes and genuine compassion made a big difference in my experience. There’s still so much misunderstanding, judgment, and stigma surrounding it and sometimes people are made to feel like their struggle defines who they are. You and your team looked past the hardest moments and you saw someone who was still worth helping, protecting and worth believing in.That kind of compassion cannot be measured by one act alone. That is the kind of compassion that can reach someone when they are at their lowest and remind them that they are still a person and loved and it gives them a reason to keep going. To every person at First Step Behavioral Health please know that our family noticed. To everyone that sometimes may feel forgotten. The individuals who brought her food, a warm blanket, cleaned up after her and then told her it was ok and reminded her she wasn’t alone. We noticed. We noticed the little things. We noticed the people who went out of their way to make her feel cared for when she couldn’t care for herself. We noticed the people who continued showing up even when the days were difficult. And most importantly we noticed the love. You may not realize how much those moments meant, but they meant everything to us. When we couldn’t be there. We had comfort, knowing that she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her and our family when we thought there was none. You and your team gave our family more memories when we thought there would be no more. You gave our family more laughter. More smiles, more time with our sister. Time is something that people take for granted until they realize there isn’t any time left. We thought our time was up with our sister and were preparing for her story to have a tragic ending. Because of your team, she has now the tools to heal. Mental illness does not just effect the one individual. Mental illness is a family disease and now because of First Step we have time to heal this disease as a family. So not just from the bottom of our hearts, but from our whole hearts we thank you. I was stubborn to open up to the help but once I did this place helped me more than they ever know. They helped me gain my life and my kids back. I’m still sober even tho some thought I wouldn’t be because I left 2days earlier than I was suppose to. From the moment I brought my son to AWA, I knew we were in the right place. I was exhausted, constantly worrying about my teen and the risky behaviors he was engaging in. Every discussion became an heated argument with no resolution. Immediately after admission, AWA had a treatment plan in place for us. We finally had a safe place to share our issues, without fear, judgement or harsh criticism. During my son’s treatment at AWA, I always felt that all the staff had his best interest truly at heart. They genuinely cared about him. I found the parent support night extremely helpful and learned so much. However, my son’s therapist, Nicholas, was truly our lifeline. He is down to earth, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and has a special talent for counseling difficult teens. He genuinely cares about his clients. He also was a great role model for my son. Had it not been for Nic, I don’t believe that my son would have completed the program. I always felt that I was very much included in my son’s plan of care. Nic has a talent for keeping parents up to date without breaking client trust. Post AWA, I feel like I have my son back! I'm eternally grateful to all the Dr. Maria and all her staff. I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After completing Sylvia Brafman’s residential program in Georgia, my son transitioned into their PHP program in South Florida for continued treatment of schizoaffective disorder. The transition between the two programs was smooth, and the PHP team continued providing the structure, compassion, and support he needed as he adjusted back to everyday life. The staff has been absolutely amazing. They treat my son with dignity, patience, and respect, and they genuinely care about his progress. Unlike any other place I’ve been to, the staff treated me with such a graceful and welcoming attitude. The whole facility maxes out at about 25 people so groups and therapy are all tailored to you. From the very head of principles down to the drivers you get the same consistency in willingness to help. Facility is ran smoothly with attention to detail including cleanliness. I highly recommend this to anyone I know in a similar situation especially if you’re indecisive on narrowing down the complex recovery network in South Florida.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to two exceptional nurses, Ernest Knight and Asley Fernández, on the 4th floor. My mother recently underwent major lung surgery, and during such a difficult and painful time, they treated her with incredible kindness, compassion, and dedication. Ernest cared for my mother throughout her first night after surgery. He was attentive all night, constantly checking on her, making sure she was comfortable and that her pain was being addressed. His patience and gentle manner gave us so much peace of mind. Asley cared for her the following morning with the same extraordinary compassion. She was attentive to every detail, helped bathe her, kept her comfortable, and treated her with genuine love and tenderness. As a daughter, there is nothing more comforting than seeing your mother treated with such humanity during a vulnerable moment. Ernest and Asley are truly wonderful nurses, and Mount Sinai should be very proud to have them. Our family will never forget the care and kindness they showed my mother. Evolutions changed my life. I became a pastor while I am a client here. I feel so good with the staff and everyone else that runs the place. I speak with a lot of clients and I am a pastor and I got my degree while I was in this facility. I suffered from depression because I lost my brother and the counseling I had and the therapist that I was seeing helped me through this very hard time in my life. It has been a very difficult time. I can't say enough good things about this treatment center. Graduating from this program is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, and I truly believe it saved my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. The staff believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. They gave me the tools, support, and guidance I needed to rebuild my life and find hope again. The therapists, counselors, and everyone on the team created an environment where I felt safe to heal and grow. Recovery isn't easy, but having people who truly care made all the difference. Knowledgeable and kind are the two words that best describe the staff at Atlantic. Jeanie was amazing, over the months she helped improve my ankle strength after a bad break and tear. Knowing I’m a runner, she focused on getting me back into running shape, and strengthening muscles to make sure I was less prone to injury as I got back into my training. So lucky to have worked with her. Stephanie was always so kind and understanding over the months of scheduling. Making it easy to request additional sessions through my insurance. I’m so happy to have chosen this location for my recovery and while I hope to never have to go to rehab again, if life throws me a curve ball, I know who I’ll be reaching out to :)

Absolutely the best experience! The VA has changed over the years. Came here in 2023 for the Burnpits-PACT evaluation didn't know what to expect. The staff is great and friendly. Since that date, the doc talked me into giving them another try and I'm glad I took her recommendation. Miami is good too but Bill Kling is my serving clinic and I haven't had anything but great experiences and the best services. They are great!
