They did not tell me to write this specifically however the staff watched as I typed. I was given a phone to place a review on their page as part of my discharge. EVERY client is asked to do this as it exponentially increases their chances of good reviews and gives them digital visibility (very clever). It’s definitely the nicest rehab in KY but when I needed help the most…) BEWARE unless you pay 30k or have commercial insurance you cannot be seen. No riff raff allowed. If you want to get sober go to the Healing Place. They allow mental health meds and MAT now if you need it. There are varying program lengths and housing options depending on your situation. They will love you back to life and you can gain humility! (Core principle of a 12 step program they teach.) The healing place is free and I know many people lost their coverage this year due to the political climate. I would not recommend RAC. KY has some great treatment centers and 99.9% of the time treatment AND sober living is necessary but treatment doesn’t keep you sober. Nor will a 30k massage and great kitchen staff - which they are - if you are gonna drop that much money I would go to Cumberland Heights or the Bluffs. QUALITY healthcare services should be accessible to everyone. Not just the rich and you shouldn’t have to go into debt. This is life and unfortunately death. But hey, what do I know? I have used alcohol and drugs the past 45 years of my life trying to stop on my own lots of times but couldn't do it. When I walked through the doors I was amazed by the staff how they welcomed me. Now 8 months later after they literally loved me back to life I am proud to say that I am sober which my family thought would be impossible and very proud to be a staff member and will graduate in June of the long term program. I found God there which I had never had in my life and the tools they gave me and God's blessings I am alive now and the happiest that I have ever been in my life. Kaelin is so caring and compassionate about all her patients (currently in IOP) and Joe spices it up with his sense of humor and being very open about his past. I’ve been to the Brooke 4 times now and this is the best experience I’ve had. Ashley York 2 weeks ago I went through their PHP for teens back in October of 2025. I felt the need to come back and praise Ms. Olivia, Mr. Jordan, and Ms. Gracey. I don’t remember all the names but the teachers were great aswell. As a struggling teenager it’s hard to connect with adults sometimes, especially healthcare professionals. I’ve been through numerous programs and had countless therapists, but not one has ever compared to Ms. Olivia. She made every kid individually feel seen and valued. Obviously you can’t help everyone, especially not the ones that don’t want it, but they made sure everyone knew they were there for US. They showed a type of care in this hospital more than i’ve seen or experienced in any other. When going into the program, I expected it to just be like usual and i’d be the same afterwards. Which may be true to a sense, I still struggle with mental health in my everyday life. But one thing that changed was how I saw my future. I’m now going to college and working to become a therapist just like the lovely people that inspired me to do so. They helped me mentally yes, but the inspiration they gave me to work in that field and help other kids that were just like me will never leave my mind! Through every accomplishment i’ve made and am going to make in the future I will think of these people because they are the reason I made it this far. No matter how big or small, these people made differences and will forever be a part of peoples stories! The program itself i would also recommend. It not only allows the teens to have more direct access to mental and physical help, but it provided us with the opportunity to connect with other teens that were in the same boat. We all had our own issues but being able to be there for each other and know that it was normal to struggle as a teen was a kind of push that we all needed to get even just a little bit better. So, to the PHP program I thank you for EVERYTHING! as stated before, differences were made and this place is definitely a part of a lot of people’s stories. They are very supportive. Constant communication and really support the family dynamics. Not only do they focus on the child but the family as well. We hit a rough patch and they were extra supportive with accommodations for visits with our child. Mitch is always great to talk too and really informative on our child’s care. Toni in admissions has been amazing and really taken care of us. We can not say enough good things about Stephanie our child’s therapist. She is the absolute best and really puts her heart into the children. The cottage staff and manager are just as amazing. Amber is always super helpful anytime we have spoken to her. Mr. Chris and Ms. Bianca really go out of there way for our child that is currently there and even help us in crisis moments with our other child that was previously there. We have not met anyone that we do not like. When we have picked up from the school, everyone is so informative on the progress our child is making.
