My recovery journey has spanned over two decades and included dozens of treatment centers. After 8 years of sobriety, I spent 6 years in a devastating series of relapses. Arriving at DreamLife, I had lost the will to live and determined myself hopeless. I wasn't a friendly face or an easy case. Despite my best efforts to sabotage myself, the staff at DreamLife fought for me. They saw value in my life that I couldn't. Having been to many rehabs, none are perfect. Some have 5-star amenities or an ideal climate and location. But what matters are the staff and the treatment itself. DreamLife is second to none in these departments. Many staff are in recovery and know what it takes to live successfully with this devastating disease. The therapists are top notch and provide holistic and proven modalities to fit clients unique needs. My trauma, self-defeating behaviors and cognitive distortions were all addressed. Because of DreamLife, I have a life again, one I was convinced was beyond reach. Eternally grateful.

Medmark most definitely saved my life. When the doctor decided he wasn't giving me my pain medicine any longer because he didn't want to get in trouble (this was 2019) and I didn't know what to do since I have chronic pain from several severe bone breaks. So I called medmark and on my first day of treatment I wasn't worried anymore. I've been going here for over 5 years almost 6 now and they have never made me feel bad for anything they have been nothing but caring and supportive. I really thlnk they have saved my life and lots of other lives as well.

For outpatient, I think it's great! I'm able to have MyChart visits with my provider --- never an issue. Dr. Cadenas is AMAZING. I haven't had such a great psychiatrist in years. If you're looking for a new doc, he's your guy. You never feel judged, and he always talks things through instead of making the choice for you.

UPMC took over the Somerset hospital and it made it so much more better! The nurses work very hard making sure everything is working properly and everyone has what they need. I had to have back surgery and had stayed over night I was very well taken care of...I had no problems with anyone they all was very helpful, especially Jodie, Eunice and Brenda they was with me the most during my time there.. They were once patients themselves at one time so they thought about those little things that made it all the better.. It's those little things in life that matters most (in my opinion)..If you didn't call for your food when it was time your phone would ring to make sure you wouldn't miss having something before the kitchen closed for the night.. Somerset hospital has some a long way and it's only getting better and better.. Thank you for everything to ALL of my nurses and to DR. Sharma For doing an amazing job on my surgery.. He is the only Surgeon who will make sure you have a back brace and a Ice pack that Velcros around your waist Both are top of the Line..

I enjoyed my experience at this place. Very home like environment. Good food, good staff, nice program that really helped me understand myself and my addiction a lot better. Wellness recovery saved my life! Clean 2 1/2 years after 16 rehabs wellness and it's staff are who I needed to successfully complete a program and maintain recovery! Patti is truly the heart and tough love that everyone needs! I wasn't there with Jimmy and Patrick but every person I have sent there tells me they are motivating individuals who have successfully helped others get clean and made a huge impact on their lives! Changed my life for the better. I was a lost soul before the N/A teachings at WELLNESS RECOVERY. Was sent by parole and was just there to go with the flow initially, but the staff and counselors were so understanding of my disease they knew time was on their side. The food was great, very clean, I was blessed to have picked this rehab and would loudly suggest to anyone. I had a small drug problem but a bigger me problem and want to give a special nod to jimmy. I didn t kno him before his recovery but between him and the owner, aside from my father I don t know a more stand up honorable man then them two truly out to help people in it for all the right reasons. Biggest lesson learned is, being honest, and as an addict my first idea is usually the wrong one so consult with my own little advisors to help me chart a new way of life the right way. Thank you WELLNESS RECOVERY, and my family thanks you as well.
