After having the courage to walk through the doors I had the most positive experience with the Rescu unit. The staff, counselors and all the supporting roles from kitchen to housekeeping made my stay amazing. I walked away with clarity and the tools to conquer the next step in life. Thanks to all for being compassionate and showing up to do good things for a person that was on the down and out.

I have been to RCA Westminster on a couple of occasions. The staff has always treated me well and the care team was great. The rooms are very comfortable with showers and queens beds for most of the rooms with just one roommate. I was very please with the accommodations and the plan that was set forth by the care team while I was there and my exit plan upon discharge. I would recommend RCA Westminster to anybody that is interested in starting their journey of recovery.

Before coming to AdCare, I tried treatment at other places, but nothing ever worked. It wasn't until I went through detox at AdCare Hospital and got unbelievable care and then moved into their virtual outpatient care and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that everything changed for me. It took me a few tries, but they never gave up on me—even when I had completely given up on myself. ​I attended IOP with clinician Gladys, and she runs an absolutely unbelievable program. She taught me so much, gave me the tools i need to handle this disease, and never stopped believing in me. On top of that, I also have 1-on-1 counseling sessions with Gladys where I can really personalize my own recovery journey. It takes a very special kind of person to do this work, and Gladys is just an amazing human being. Graduating from her IOP was a huge moment for me. ​Now, I’m in two virtual groups that keep me grounded: Mondays at 10:30 a.m. with Marline, and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. with Elizabeth, the clinical manager. What amazing groups these are! Marline and Elizabeth are such incredible, compassionate people. They create a safe space for us without any judgment. They show what true compassion looks like every single day. ​These groups remind me that I’m not alone. We all have the same disease, but we each have different stories that matter, and they always make sure we feel seen and heard. These outpatient groups are so important—they literally teach us how to live, laugh, and to forgive ourselves. The staff is extremely helpful, very kind, understanding, willing to assist in any way they can. The Dr that is here does everything in his power so your detox process is gentle and what you need.

Experience I had was awesome.The program could do more than what it should we have more cigarette breaks on a different type of atmosphere.It would be helpful to some of us, some of us.It will be unhelpful, we need to have more music classes.Above all , the atmosphere of it is great , thank you

Alright the staff is absolutely amazing, Sara the case manager helped me clear warrants and get into a sober house,. The other Sara the clinical director was extremely pleasant and has an open door policy which is really nice. Emily the nurse is another one that went above and beyond for me for my medications. The facility is nice, tv in the room, separate male and female tv lounges then a big one that’s for both. The food was great. The smoke breaks kinda suck, 7 a day last one is 8pm. The medical part really sucks, there blanket protocols so someone that used once gets the same protocol as someone using for years, it was ruff, you don’t get to talk to a dr ever. There famous for denying you any narcotics your prescribed either so keep that in mind. If it wasn’t for the medical aspect it would be 5 stars for sure.

Evolve was such a good experience for me. I was there for 2 weeks and left finally feeling like I got the help I was looking for. What they couldn't help with they set me up and made sure I was prepared for when I left. All the staff was amazing but Angie, Jimmy, Crystal, Ivan, Jimmy and Shane stood out to me and went above and beyond. Im super grateful to get this experience.

If you are serious about your sobriety this is the place to be! The staff is amazing and the building is extremely clean. You learn so much from everyone in the building. I am blessed to have gone through this program because it’s very hard to find a good detox/css.

Spectrum Health Services' PAVE Program, an IPAEP/CBP for domestic violence abusers, is a phenomenal program that helps domestic violence abusers on how to cope and better manage with various techniques on how to deal with anger management issues, violent tendencies and how to have & build better relationships with their partners/victims and all those affected by domestic violence. I highly and fully recommend to all who have been a domestic violence abuser, past or present, to partake in this vital & crucial program. If interested (and if not already court ordered), contact Maureen Casey here @ Spectrum to learn more about PAVE and other programs Spectrum has (specifically for anger management is one example). Mike & Faith administer the PAVE Program on a weekly basis. My group sessions are every Wednesday, from 430 to 630 pm for 40 weeks, start to finish. I wish all abusers the best of luck out there in getting the help we all so desperately need!

Medicating is always quick and easy...in and outta there as opposed to the only other clinic around here (HabitOPCO in Fitchburg)

I’ve been to many treatment centers and I was nervous to try a new program and I’m glad I chose to try Blue Hills Recovery. There are not many programs that have both clinical and housing and to have this option and opportunity stepping down from a residential facility was extremely helpful and necessary. From the BHTs at housing to the group facilitators, therapists, program director, and clinical director at clinical were extremely empathetic, compassionate, and helpful. I chose Blue Hills Recovery because they specialize in trauma work and they provided the space and care I needed to start that work. I am specifically grateful for the clinical director Jodi and program director Ashley who went above and beyond to provide the space, care, support, and help I needed when I was struggling; they truly cared about my recovery and overall well-being. I would highly recommend Blue Hills Recovery to anyone who needs a safe and supportive space to work on the tough parts of recovery.

My experience with Blue Hills was one to remember. Blue Hills gave me a solid foundation to step down from treatment facility to PHP and IOP that prepared me for my next steps in my recovery journey. The facility combines knowledgeable therapists with group facilitators and administrators who effectively manage insurance, housing and transportation. Gia thank you for making me feel comfortable with my uncommon diagnosis and being the first one to understand it! Mona you are THE BEST. Juliana is the sweetest caring human being I’ve ever met. Barbra and (I think Christy) over night nurses, thank you for your gentle overnight hospitality.

My experience with Haywood Hospital was the staff was generally nice and caring, as well as taking very good care of their patients. We did not have to wait long in the ER to be seen, and we were not inside the ER very long whatsoever. Have been in longer at other hospitals, even if they weren’t busy, but not at Haywood. Haywood was pretty well quick and convenient.

Staff was very friendly. Dr. Kulmar is one of the best doctors I had the pleasure to meet. Very professional, knowledgeable and did his best to help my daughter.
