Sadly, I have few been to quite a few recovery centers over the years. Within the first week I had learned more than I had in any other I had attended. Such a clean facility with staff that truly care. Colin is a top notch chef that made us the best meals. My wife is in trouble when I get home, as my taste buds have been accustomed to the best food(kidding). And from the people that run the show Andrew and Luke, to my counselor Matt, to all the techs that made it happen, all 5 STARS. The counselor's and staff are so wonderful and helpful. I’m currently a resident here and it has helped me turn my life around and look at life in a different perspective both Physically and Mentally. I was in this program after being released from incarceration, i was released to a inpatient 30 day rehab and then shipped here. This place really established new found structure in my life and they really help you with everything you could possibly want or dream of. The program director Steve is a very great man, has zero tolerance for bs lol. But a huge shout out to Kelly, Meg, dawn, Monica, Ashley, richard, Molly and my prss shannan. The Staff here is so amazing and really helped me through so much in my life. If your ready to be clean and sober and start a functioning life this is the place to be. Even the xray technician, Liz, besides being efficient and thorough in her work, was entertaining and fun.3/15/25: Went to Emergency Room at Boise VA and was seen by Dr. Jesse Mix. In a few minutes he diagnosed a nerve pinch in my neck that was previously misdiagnosed by a different provider at a different medical organization. Dr. Mix is very sharp and knowledgeable. His solutions were right on. Two days later I was pain free. Thank you Dr. Mix and the Boise VA.2/20/25: VA NP Jeff Weese spent significant time with me today reviewing my EKG and ECG. He was very thorough and detailed in information and explanations. He is obviously very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone seeking wise advise. So I went to the ER because of complications from a colonoscopy. I went through some tests and was about to be released. There was a younger gentleman that came in the room right next to me. I was about to get released when the younger gentleman next to me stopped breathing. The dr rushed out of my room and went into ER mode. Their team performed CPR on this veteran for 40 minutes while I m in the room right next door. The veteran ended up passing away and my heart was broken. The moral of this post is if I was ever in that situation and passed away I can tell every single veteran that this Dr and his team worked above and beyond to save his life and I know they would have done the same for me. I was very affected by their teamwork and professionalism. The dr came back in my room to release me and said to me I love all you veterans and got teary eyed with me. Whomever the Dr was on the evening of 12/05/24 you are my hero. This breaks my heart just writing this but had to share how proud I was will everyone of the staff.

Whatever your view of detox centers, drug addiction or mental health, I would be remiss if i didn't thank the staff at Allumbaugh House for being a contributing factor in my survival. The specifics aren't important, except for the staff truly does care. Although I have been back several times, they truly do what they can to assist you in not only detox, but resources to continue sobriety upon leaving. The staff is kind and doesn t judge you. This is a great safe place to detox and the case workers will work with you for next steps. They ve saved my life and changed it.

Overall, the Medical Care I have received at the Caldwell VA Clinic for at least 6 or more years has been a positive experience. Appointments & labs are generally met timely and outsourcing when outside scope of facility has been diligent. There is always blips in any long-term professional relationship and circumstances arise that cause aggravation, but I rate mine with the Caldwell Clinic @ least a 4.4

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. From Indiana & was in Nevada visiting family. Guest dosed here 2 days. It was quick & everyone there was extremely helpful - the original place that my counselor & I set up for me to guest dosed didn't contact me until the day before, informing me they only did inpatient. The Center for Behavior Health was more than understanding, and helped me figure out what steps needed to be taken, in order for me to get my medication. It was $25/day to guest dose. Definitely would recommend.

Some people like to go straight for the CORE issue. If you dig a hollow hole in that giant pile, it ll collapse into itself. Willow springs was what helped me start at the surface, slowly unburying and sorting out my issues before I finally found the main reason I needed help. I have been in so many hospitals, and they would insure I m stable but not give me the tools for when I m out. Willow springs set me up for success in the hospital, but also in the outside world. Not exactly sure why I keep seeing Teen Counseling Center's with oddly low scores on Google Maps other than sending a child to one is a difficult time in a families life and no one wants to do it. My wife and I sent one of our teens here recently for two months and we had an extremely positive experience. The counselor working with my kid was smart, compassionate and able to bridge the communication gap between child and parents. The tools taught to my kid were practical and have been helping them live a more well rounded and healthier life. There were weekly video calls for family sessions that I always looked forward to because Miranda was easy to work with and proffessional. The doctor at Willow Springs Center called me wife weekly with updates on our kids medication and was able to slowly tweak levels to something that is taking the edge off of the depression. I really can't say enough good things because the items my child has complained about since being home is inconsequential to the help they received.
