Best Hackettstown, NJ Drug Rehab Centers

I was on travel and staying at my son's home in Hackettstown. A family member developed a medical condition in the early morning hours and we rushed to the hospital emergency room for treatment. The staff was wonderful! They were medically proficient, friendly, and rapidly addressed the problem. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

My dad (83) has been there for five days. The nursing staff and housekeeping staff are WONDERFUL!!!! Social worker, PT, OT…all AWESOME!!!! I wish the doctor would be more available, however, the nurses always find out what I need to know.

I’ve had consistently great experiences at Hackettstown Hospital over the years—whether it’s been for my own care or my 80-year-old mother’s. The staff is always kind, gentle, and professional. From lab work to more involved procedures, they truly go above and beyond. Most recently, I had a situation that could have turned into a major headache—both emotionally and financially. My husband accidentally returned to the hospital lab for bloodwork, not realizing (again!) that Hackettstown is no longer in-network for his insurance plan. We previously learned this the hard way last year when we received a surprise bill for nearly $2,000. Thankfully, the hospital’s billing supervisor handled it with understanding and compassion, and the charges were removed as a one-time courtesy. This time around, I called the hospital as soon as I found out he was there—and that’s when Diana from the lab absolutely saved the day. She was quick-thinking, incredibly helpful, and managed to stop the lab work from being processed. She rerouted it to LabCorp just in time, sparing us another huge out-of-pocket bill. Her professionalism and willingness to help made all the difference, and I am sincerely grateful for her efforts. Hackettstown Hospital continues to impress me—not just for their quality of care, but for the way they treat people. From the front desk to the lab to billing, they are always patient-focused and compassionate. I will continue to trust them for all my medical needs.

To say I am grateful for Alina Lodge is a true understatement. This was the first rehab I completed. Everything about this place was 5 stars. If there was an issue, it was promptly addressed and resolved. I stayed for the full 28 days and received so much love and care as well as very helpful and informative classes, groups, counseling, therapy, grief therapy and more. The staff are truly there to help each guest and not just there for a paycheck like many other places I have been to and heard about. Of course there is always going to be something that us addicts will find wrong and complain about, but in all honesty, this place has something really wonderful going for it. It is a very special place. Just passing through the gates on the first day, I knew that I would receive the help I was so desperate to receive, and I did. I recommend Alina Lodge to anyone who is truly serious about their recovery. Like anything in life, what you put into it is what you will get from it. Thank you Alina Lodge! I am forever grateful.

Alina Lodge not only provided the rehabilitation for my husband, but it did not ignore the effects on the family. Through the family program, I was able to understand addiction and its impact on me as a spouse. I will be forever grateful to Alina Lodge. Gratitude beyond measure. Love this place!

Alina Lodge is genuinely a place that saves lives. I don't have the words to adequately express my feelings for this place. From personal experience I can attest that every member of the staff here treats their students with compassion and care. Thankful for Watergap Wellness- the best facility on the East Coast, if not in the US. What makes it the best is not only the beautiful grounds, but the people that work there and make you feel important and cared for every single day.

This place changed my life. I have spent the last 10 years rotating different treatment centers and nothing had a more profound and permanent impact on my recovery than water gap. From every aspect their treatment and experience is the best in class. A lot of the staff / psychiatrists have experienced addiction or mental health challenges in some capacity and to be supported in my recovery process by others who have REAL, lived experience and aren't just college educated / textbook informed academics trying to cure people of problems and challenges they can't relate to or understand from within is just one component of what makes Watergap so unique and so effective. The staff are not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but they have a perspective on recovery and healing that you can share and relate to with them, I think this also contributes to how caring the staff are, they really all take such a personal and deep interest in your recovery vs this just being a way to pay the bills and put their degree to use (which I have seen at many places). Beyond the staff and recovery approach being incredible and also unique, the grounds are absolutely stunning with world class amenities. The natural beauty surrounding the facility allows your mind and soul to really connect with nature in the healing process and there are also such a wide range of amenities it feels like being at a luxury resort. From a massage/spa room, hiking in the beautiful Poconos mountains, group yoga and meditation, themed dinner nights, a glass sun room for yoga sessions, a beautiful golf course, daily hikes, a swimming pool - there are endless ways at Watergate to stay constantly entertained, distracted, challenged and inspired. I am so thankful for Watergate for changing my life and can't say enough good things about my experience and the treatment I received there.

Best counselor there was Brittany, she addressed all my cares and needs with care and compassion. Was iffy about going to this place but having a counselor like Brittany coleman made my stay productive and conducive to my individual care. Can't say enough about her

I came through PATH, formerly known as Bethesda from 2008-2010. I want to thank all of the staff for putting up with me. Can’t believe it’s almost 10 years since I left there. Lisa, Yvonne, Steve, Eric, Doug thank you all for making a difference in my life. Hope to visit the facility when I come visit PA.

Great place, very nice. Staff were friendly and the techs are even better. Kim was so respectful and relatable to the clients. She made everyone feel welcome and treated us like her peers. Highly recommend this place if you’re serious about getting sober.

I have been to several treatment facilities and this one is by far the best one i have been to. Not only is the facility clean and well kept, the faculty that works there have amazing hearts. This is the only treatment facility that i have been to where the staff actually genuinely care for you and your recovery/well being. They have a unique treatment plan that works. Unlike many places I have been to instead of boring you to death, they actually make recovery fun, which in my experience has a lot to do with being able to succeed in recovery. I have recommended multiple friends and family members to go here when they are struggling with addiction and will continue to recommend Steps to Recovery to anyone who asks how i got clean and remained clean. I owe my life and my recovery to these people and they will always have a special place in my heart. Just a little update, celebrating 10 years clean in a few months

I recently “graduated” from STR. I was in programming between May to September, originally PHP and then in the IOP mental health program. While in PHP I was in housing as well. There are family sessions offered too, but I did not utilize that service while at STR. While the house I was at was not perfect, administration tried their best to accommodate every concern clients had with the house. It was overall a clean and safe environment to live in. If there are any concerns advocate for yourself and ask a tech to call a house meeting if it is an interpersonal issue within the house. If you have a different issue communicate that to the director and it will most likely be handled promptly. The PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mental health is six days a week, 9am-1:30 Monday-Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays. The program changes as needs change. When I first began there process groups were three hours long, but when I left they were two hours long with an additional hour of psych ed. While the day may seem long, everyone gets a break between noon and 12:30. Afternoon there are different types of therapy everyday like art therapy, DBT, CBT. IOP (intensive outpatient program) is only 9am-12pm three days a week, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The director is accommodating though so if for any reason you need to not go on a Monday, you could always go on a Saturday if you advocate for yourself. You’ll have one individual session a week with one of the clinicians. I had Ashley and she is phenomenal. While the staff really do care about the clients, Ashley definitely cares about clients and it shows in her work. You’ll also have a session with either Dr. Newman or Monique once a week to go over medications they are both amazing! STR is shaped not just by the staff, but clientele too. I have reinforced and grew my support system while being at STR. And while I was in the mental health program, I have substance use disorder as well, I’d recommend Steps to recovery struggling with their mental health or substance use. It may take a couple of weeks to really settle into the program, but continue to do the work since you are worth it and advocate for yourself if something isn’t working for you. STR is also a great facility if you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community. The staff here are not just accepting, but affirming. There is an optional LGBTQ+ group once a week with Christian, which was my favorite part of the week.

Excellent therapists who seem to really care. From time of intake until you are actually assigned a therapist was quite fast. The therapists are compassionate and experienced.

Overall a great clinical program. The sober living that is linked is clean and up to date. Very helpful program. Plenty of resources to help me recover.

Mountainside Ramsey has proven to be a fantastic step down treatment options for clients leaving our care. The outreach and admissions department are so easily to work with each and every time. Clients have also spoken so highly of the quality of the groups, keeping them engaged the entire treatment process.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a great place for recovery I highly recommend it wonderful staff and the place is very clean and neat. I love Amy she is on the counselors there she is super sweet and she can teach and help you grow as a new person in recovery she has helped me so much. I highly recommend her as a counselor!

All of the staff at this program go above and beyond for their clients, and truly care. Amy is amazing also!
