I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. However, my family and I are beyond grateful for the care that my grandma received while admitted in the telemetry unit. Even upon arrival in the ER, she was treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and kindness which a person deserves - especially when unwell. Dr. Hamil in the ER took great care of her and eased her anxieties as he spoke her language. Kurt, her EKG tech, also went above and beyond to ensure both she and myself were comfortable through the night and we both greatly appreciated his thoughtfulness. All the nurses and techs also helped ensure her comfortability through the night. Upon admission, she continually had one great nurse after another (techs included)! Prior to coming to RWJ, she had quite a traumatic past week or so and an early discharge from a previous hospital which ultimately led to this second hospitalization. However, the staff here at RWJ did EVERYTHING they could to keep her clean, comfortable, and calm, and we cannot express our appreciation for all of their efforts. Special mentions to Jess, Sandra, Alexis, Zachary, Jrmima, Gina, and all of the other wonderful individuals who's names I missed to get. The staff clearly love their profession and do a wonderful job to make a positive impact and significant difference through their work. She gets a A+ on work ethics in public settings :) tasha mcray 4 months ago The serve program in highland Park NJ, was awesome for my brother, was nice clean and even had a pool, I'd like to some how get in there myself, it's not bad, the staff seemed nice, that's the best place if you ask me, it's even near a park within a huge walking distance on a semi busy road so loved ones or family who plan on not visiting too much , make sure the staff is well capable of responsable enough to keep an eye on you son daughter or telative... In any facility you go in, their not all good, and there was no life gaurd at the pool, and staff doesn't go and check on anyone unless your not back on time, not good for someone who is alone with no family or support and has no one in their life ... And they don't want to help or council anyone, so if your looking for that , make other arrangements, Cheryl Gutschmidt 7 years ago I recommend anyone struggling with addiction or facing emotional or mental pain, that sometimes life brings to enjoy the opportunity that I had. My experience was great! The staff and Therapists were fantastic! These folks made my experience comfortable and enjoyable. The music program open a part of me that did not realized existed. I highly recommend Freehold HighFocus treatment center to anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or just looking for a higher level of treatment solely therapy does not provide. We got to do a bunch of therapeutic activities that were so helpful, and the staff were also really kind, friendly, and understanding. I was able to get the help and treatment that I needed and after let’s say about 25 days day, I was discharged with a treatment plan also with numbers and addresses that I might need help with outside of the treatment center.
