I have been to a few IOP programs and I would with out question say that this program is by far the best. Most IOP programs tend to become very boring by having you sit in a room for 2-3 hours talking about the 12 step program. It’s so repetitive and can be so boring. This program has you concentrate on exercising, meditating and then the last part of group everyone pretty much “shoots the sh*t” and just talks about life, problems, etc. The staff starting with Michelle and Alex all the way to Mr. Willy are just awesome people! New update 6/5/25 .New Pathway saved my life. I have now been clean for 3 1/2 years since leaving this program. I am forever grateful for this program.

I've been going to New bridge services about 5 years now my daughter goes some time for your family meetings they were very helpful oh they really like to listen to I'm not pushy or anything like that I like to place a lot I go to there for therapy sessions and they go there to see the psychiatrist so that works out well and if you wanted to they have a pharmacy right there so it's like One-Stop shopping which is pretty cool but in all all the people are nice there that I found even have switched in a therapist if you time to switch psychiatrist you know I've been going there a long time but even with the new new therapist in The noose a psychiatrist you know you have to work into it and you know that takes a little time but they seem to have a way of making it you know so you don't feel all that like you know that anxiety you know that the world is ending you know so that's a good thing and I think most of you know what I'm talkin about so all right place is great and can't say much more about it

I completed 30 days in Brookdale May29th . I’ve been in 19 treatments over the years . Brookdale was the best I’ve been to. Top to bottom the place is amazing. I highly recommend .. anyone who has had some time and relapsed needs to check out Matt Delp RTR group he really hammers down causes and makes you look at relapse behaviors and brain chemistry.. I am grateful beyond words to have been able to went through the program at brookdale. I not only finished their program in 2025 but I also was there in early 2024 as well for my first time in treatment. They did all the right things to prepare me for a life in recovery however I had my own reservations in mind and wasn’t completely ready to listen and be honest. I knew immediately when I realized I had to go back, that I ONLY would go to Brookdale and nobody could’ve suggested anywhere else to me. I went back ready to fully listen and take suggestions and I got even more out of it the second time. Brookdale has many staff that has walked the same struggle as us clients so that helps a ton. The nursing staff and doctors are extremely knowledgeable and caring. One thing I noticed immediately is every single staff knows your name before you even meet them, this makes it so comforting to walk in to an uncomfortable situation. They have a very well planned structure and routine they get each and every client in to prepare them to get back to the real world. The days are full but they are very well balanced between education, fun, leisure time, and connection with your peers. Every single staff member is there for each and every client. The campus is huge and it made me feel like I was going to college with the structure and opportunities you have, and it would hands down be the #1 school in the country with the prestigious education you get. There is no argument, brookdale is the BEST place to send a loved one or yourself if you need help with addiction and or alcoholism.

My name is Sarah. I ended up in Brookdale after a two year relapse. It took me three weeks to get myself to agree to have Brookdale come pick me up. I chose Brookdale because the staff on the phone were genuine and kind. They answered all my questions with patience and put me at ease. When I arrived at Brookdale I was broken. I felt like glass ready to shatter into a million pieces. As I started meeting the staff I felt more at ease. They were all kind and welcoming. They all looked me in the eye and I felt seen. The beauty of Brookdale is there is going to be a staff that knows exactly how you feel. Someone who shares a similar story. I had a moment with a staff who looked me in the eyes and said “you are worth it”. In that moment I believed him completely without any hesitation. It was like looking into a mirror. I needed that recognition from someone like me who could see through the walls I built in addiction. I trusted him. I was going to be okay. Brookdale gives you the space and support you need to heal. The tools they offer are endless. Now, I have sober support and Brookdale is still apart of it. I followed their suggestions and I am thriving. If you or someone you know needs help with addiction there’s no other place filled with more amazing people!

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

I just wanted to review this organization after interning there for 5 weeks. This place does incredible work! I saw first hand how they really care for their patients and strive to make sure that they have the support they need. The staff is super nice and really takes care of the patients. They have a variety of programs there to help. They also have a variety of programs and a very comprehensive vocational program too. They work hard to help their patients get better and develop the skills they need. New York needs more places like them. Disclaimer: I was not asked to write this. 6 years ago I gave birth here completely alone and it was the worst traumatic experience of my life. I was completely alone in excruciating pain and visited the hospital the moment I knew I was in labor and having contractions back to back. They sent me home and told me my water needed to be broken and to come back later. (First time I ever heard a hospital say that to a women in labor) Fast forward several hours later my water broke & I called the ambulance. As soon as I arrived to the hospital they had me sitting in a wheelchair in the emergency room completely ignoring me for over 35 mins or more while I was in labor, having contractions, and dripping wet in my seat from my water broken . I was completely ignored the whole time. When I finally was assigned a room the nurse was very rude and visibly irritated with me from screaming from the pain of the contractions. This was not my first baby but I had never felt such painful contractions in my life and was treated very poorly by that women while I was delivering my baby with no one by my side. Not a single comforting person in that hospital. It was awful. Last, I then needed an emergency c section because of complications which they told me I would be under local anesthesia but instead they gave me general anesthesia and It put me to sleep in the OR with no one to bear witness to my child’s birth not even me. I was looking forward to seeing my baby as soon as she came out but I didn’t get that opportunity because of the general anesthesia they gave me without my permission. So I don’t know what happened or why they would do that to me till this day. Worst experience of my life and very traumatizing for me.

I had to go to the hospital this week(twice) Remembering that they really saved me when I had COVID in 2021. I returned to IMC, well THEY ARE STILL #1 in My list. Although they get more than their fair share of rude & crazy people in the Registration area, the ENTIRE staff never, never lost their empathy, their desire to help the sick and their business composition. When you got inside the ER part was where they really SHINED you felt much better allready, like you was inside of a well run ER. IMC may NOT be in a fancy area of Brooklyn, may Not be a fancy hospital like those in the city...but many other hospitals need the the type of nurses IMC has ( LIKE B.CAMBELL) and the director of ER MS. ALSTON, (if I remember correcty) whom TAKE PRIDE in their facility regardless of what they have and whatever city grants they get to do their jobs well, ALL the staff from the cleaners to the security guards where on point. if I wasn't retired I will go to work with them in a heartbeat. Finding myself on the other side with my son who started to self medicate himself for depression with street drugs, I turned to Princeton. He was treated as a human being and I was never left feeling unsured. I have the utmost respect for the great work you guys do under those circumstances. Dr.Mirza thankyou for helping us get my son back on track..Not having medcaid has been a challenge but the meds you described have worked and I am paying out of pocket for now but it works. God bless you all and if he ever needed help again, hands down Princeton is the place we will be driving too. A billion thanks Dr. MIRZA AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF. Nilda and Richard Farre

Er staff was very compassionate and nice. I was helped with very little wait. Surgeon and staff also very nice.Nurses and aid on 4th floor some of the nicest. My nurse Estelle fantastic 10 gold stars👍 room was clean and tidy. Now to the bad part. Breakfast lunch dinner seemed later than it should be. The food absolutely disgusting. You need a new cook, menu or a supplier. Grilled Chicken breast with some kind of green seasoning on it that was inedible. Beef stew was way to salty mashed potatoes could use a little more milk or water very grainy. Farina could have been thicker than water. Everything smelled like chicken broth. Plastic cups for tea and coffee absolutely disgusting taste of chemicals couldn't drink out of them. There's hot water at the sink but 15 minutes of the shower running and it's still cold🤬let me use another shower still freezing. Fix it. The hospital is brand new there should be hot water on all floors. The lights need to be dimmer no one wants to be woken up to bright lights. Even the reading one over the bed was obnoxious. The rooms also don't need to be kept at 73* breeding grounds for germs. yes maintenance was there with in a minute to switch mine to 68*. 70* max, but rule of thumb to conserve energy 68* in winter 72* in summer. So hopefully someone of importants see this and makes the appropriate changes.
