The Radiology/Oncology Department is amazing! Dr. Weiss, Shu and the Radiology team are extremely caring and attentive to your medical needs. I can't say enough good about them! I have moved from northern jersey to Long Branch. This is my first child. Their diagnosis and treatment plan for my son was amazing and they explained everything repetitively with great patience and knowledge. I worked with Dr. Rogers, Nurse Julianna, Nurse Emily, and ultimately Nurse Jen who had me through the toughest times. I was there for an induction. They explained everything systematically and stopped to provide the reasons why. I could not dilate at all, they were gentle with all testing, they were humane and reasonable with administering induction medication, and when going to the operation room finally everyone introduced themselves, dealt with me with care, and explained the process - the anesthesiologist Jessica was a pleasure my epidural earlier was seamless, painless, and safe and I felt 0 pain, barely any pressure or tugging. My fiancé is a doctor himself and consistently commented on the professionalism and cleanliness of the hospitals staff and facilities. I am still here, in recovery I cannot speak to recovery, discharge, c-section care and my son’s circumcising as of yet.

The great outweigh the frustrations.
The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life.
The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery.
For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

I believe the nurse who was there first was Alicia, whose shift was ending at 7p.m. and there was also Joann. Both of these women are a true blessing to any patient that needs emergency treatment.

My father was brought into the ER with a heart issue. The staff were amazing! Everyone worked diligently to stabilize his condition and make him comfortable. His stay was extended a few days and stents were needed. The nursing staff in the step down unit were absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Erin, Nicole, Haley, Jen, Dion, Jess, Amy and Jolyn!

I have been coming to Stress Care for several years now and at first it was a little rocky but about six months ago I was assigned to Christina. I cannot recommend Christina highly enough. She is an incredibly compassionate, skilled, and insightful therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for real growth and healing. From the very first session, I felt truly heard and understood. Christina has a unique ability to ask the right questions, offer meaningful perspectives, and guide me toward clarity in ways that feel empowering rather than overwhelming.
Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shine through in every interaction. I’ve noticed so many positive changes in my life thanks to her guidance, and I feel more confident, grounded, and hopeful than I have in years. If you are looking for a therapist who is both deeply empathetic and highly effective, Christina is truly exceptional. I leave every session feeling a million times better. She truly tells me what I need to hear instead of what I want to hear, which is something I have never been able to receive through many therapists in the past. This reviews make me so sad because I’ve been coming here since 2015. At first I had a horrible therapist, but I ended up switching. I loved the two therapists that I had and currently love the one I have now. I’ve only ever had one bad psychiatrist and I get a new one every year. I’m so sorry to the people who’ve had a bad experience.

I had a hip replacement in this facility just now. Super skilled and professional surgeon, great team, welcoming and accommodating personnel. They are so wonderful here and I truly feel that treatment was so therapeutic. They have wonderful groups and DBT and make sure your needs are met and accounted for. They were super flexible to grant me time to celebrate my mom's birthday! Shout out to all especially to Melissa, Rena, and Romesa for their help. Dr. Darly along with Dr. Mehta and Dr Preethi were so amazing. Charge nurse Gitu is amazing and make sure we take our meds to get well. This is the third company I've used. The 1st 2 were awful - if anything, they worsened my situation.
This place is exactly what I needed.
Everyone is easy to get a hold of and they do what they're supposed to do - help.
Christen at the front desk is great - she takes care of a lot by herself.
If she's unable to help, she let's my counselor know ASAP.

I was in the shelter for two years and a half could not find an apt . They gave me an apt with pots pans kitchen table bed dresser for my daughters room the really helped me so much for a new start I thank God for these people.

Edit: i went back out of desperation and anxiety. Lawrence is the best, he took me in and took care of me through whole process. That day was appointment only but he still helped so i am grateful
I went to the office and another nearby and both offices did not offer testing. This is very disappointing. I would recommend calling before walking in. I am truly upset considering my circumstances mental health wise. I should mention they said to come tommorow put that's is not the point. I would like this place to live up to its vision and mission.

To validate this statement. I will say in the 19 years I have been involved with mental health facilities, addiction, treatment centers, and state psychiatric services. At times being employed by and other times as a patient. By far the counselors that break their tail every day for their patience to have a positive outcome and fair shot at a good life. Is second to none. In tandem with their psychiatric services and on the ball medication treatments. The only response in what they do for their patients, Is first class, five stars all around every time.
I can only speak for myself, but I had to make a commitment to their recommendations, accept the truth about what got me there, stop making excuses sound like reasons and put in sincere work.
If you’re fortunate enough to work with Steve H. You can expect someone who fully understands where you’re coming from, has solution based approaches to complex situations, has always been on point, several steps ahead of me. Out of sincere conviction and authentic heart for my well-being. How many people out there really show up for somebody like that in life….

I have been fortunate enough to have my back and best interests at hand without any self interest or personal gain. When my family needed help, Joe from Christopher's Reason stepped up and was concerned for my families well being. He went above and beyond trying to get my family help. He acted selflessly, and had genuine concern for the outcome of the situation, as if it was his own family member.
