Today was Blood Work and EKG.
Charles and the parking crew were all set up for my arrival at 6:50 AM. A Treat.
Alyson and Sandy were waiting, after I passed through Security which was fully staffed. Checking in was smooth and efficient. Documents reviewed, processed and on your way.
The Quest staff were pleasant and prompt with blood work.
Off to Cardiology, Peggy registered me while Nancy was waiting and processed my test within a minute.
Charles returned my car and I was on my way.
A great morning with the Riverview staff.

LOVE CPC! I have been diagnosed since 14 & have NEVER trusted therapists or drs because of my first few experiences w them. Due to that i never sought help for decades & i declined so bad. CPC was recommended by someone to my mother for me. I started with them a year and a half ago & they are AMAZING! If you don't match well with someone speak up & they will find you a better match. I didn't take to my first doc, because she was very clinical/cold w not much bedside manner, upon explaining this to staff i was changed and my next doc was sooo good our sessions were like additional therapy! She gave advice on all aspects not just medication. She really had counselor/therapist vibes and THAT'S the doctor style i personally prefer when trusting my health and medication with someone! Overall this place has gone above & beyond for me multiple times. They've provided transportation when i had none. They've helped me with court and continue to do so. They also have my back in a dv situation & no one ever has not even "family". I trust these ppl with my life & i honestly don't now what i would do without them! And they are VERY patient & understanding!

The staff at CPC in Red Bank are extremely kind and helpful. Those with whom I’ve had the pleasure to meet go above and beyond to help their clients.
I am very fortunate to work with Dr. Rodriguez for addiction recovery. She has an amazing ability to connect with others, allow them to feel heard and interact in a non judgmental and compassionate way.
I feel the same way about my counselor Paul Mann. He also listens with kindness, compassion, and non judgment. They both also share ideas to enhance one’s life. They genuinely want the best for their clients.
I’m extremely grateful that both Dr. Rodriguez and Paul are a part of my journey to recovery and happiness.

I was a patient at serenity at summit from July 16th to August 13, 2025. I didn't know what to expect I flew from Fayetteville , north carolina and was picked up from the airport by one of the exceptional techs KAMAR Someone I never met before, but you wouldn't know it from our conversation. I told him I was hungry because they wouldn't let the plane land right away he Informed me not to worry that they had food for me as soon as we get to the facility. After I ate, I went to get a quick check-up.And I was soon meet by another tech and was taken to detox on the 3rd floor , he showed me my room , rm 6 and then took me out for a fresh air break , and then it was time for bed. The next morning, I was moved to the 2nd floor for rehab where I met some of the other staff members Amira, Tom ,Lori, who became my case manager, Regina, Dawn and Heber, to name a few, these people made my stay really pleasant I could go to them for anythig and as for the exceptional tecs Al Danett Destiny CHARLIE and little bit. The reason I’m giving this place a 5-star review is because of the amazing people I met while I was staying there.
First, I want to give a big shout-out to a few of the PCCs and staff members who truly made a difference.
Stacy—thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness. I truly hope you achieve everything you’re working toward. You would make an incredible counselor. The way you treated us with respect, compassion, and genuine care says so much about your work ethic and your character.
Ash and Mike S - thank you for your patience and for always treating us with love, kindness, and respect. You made us feel like human beings, and that means more than you know.
Stephan, Johnny, Gary, and Antwo—thank you for everything. The list of people I appreciate could honestly go on.
Joe—you’re the man! Thank you for helping me even when you didn’t have to.
And to my counselor, James—I’m truly grateful that our paths crossed. Thank you for your guidance and support.
To anyone considering coming here: if you’re serious about getting help, staying focused on your goals, and working on your sobriety, you can absolutely succeed here. One thing I learned is that treating others with respect goes a long way.
This isn’t a resort, so don’t expect a different meal every day or luxury accommodations. Like any program, there are some downsides, but for me, there were far more positives than negatives. I left with valuable lessons, support, and hope.
At the end of the day, recovery starts with you and with the mindset you choose to have.
Thank you to everyone who helped me during my stay. I truly appreciate everything you did, and I wish you all nothing but the best.

I came to SOBA without a lot of hope, honestly. What I found was a program with real depth, the kind that only comes from a facility that has been doing this seriously for over ten years. The clinicians are trained at a high level, the care felt genuinely individualized, and the day-to-day had enough structure to keep things moving without feeling suffocating. The facility itself helps. Clean, comfortable, with spaces that don't feel like a hospital. I left with a different understanding of what I was capable of. This place is the real thing.

The IOP gave me the clinical structure I still needed while keeping me connected to daily life, work, family, the things I couldn't step fully away from. Sessions multiple times a week, real therapeutic work, not a token effort at outpatient care. It bridged things in a way that felt deliberate rather than like a forced step-down from something bigger.

My son did the PHP followed by the IOP program. The change in him is night and day, my family couldn’t be happier. His clinician Tim C. was incredible. First off Liz S. always greets me with a smile and always makes me feel welcome when I am visiting my mom for stage 4 lung cancer. Nurse Tatiana, Cabelli, and Marla, and nurses Melina, Nick, Eugina, Jeremey,LJ and Sylvia, Mecca, Felicia, Miggie,Thelma and tech Gabriel, tech Kiki, tech Nicole, Maddie, and tech Emanuel and Rollinsky and Rhea and tech Shy and also security officer Joshua S. And receptionist Robin Y. I apologize if I do not remember other nurses and healthcare workers on the floor but every single nurse and staff and tech were always working so hard to keep my mother and other patients on the floor as alive as possible.
On top of it all, I hear that they might have discovered a vaccine that destroys cancer from Moderna and I am just floored. I do not know healthcare so this is the best I know how to help Robert Wood and Gods miracle workers. I especially enjoy meeting the male techs and nurses as they are doing wonders for reputation of men everywhere. I could learn a thing or two from them and so could others of my gender. Doctors and nurses are the true heroes on earth. The least I could do is help bring attention to the tough and often times stressful work of healthcare workers. Thank you Robert Wood…and for those that are suffering from cancer or have loved ones going through cancer please google Cancer Vaccine, it will give you alot of
hope!
Update: My mom is still trying to get through her infection and Eeg specialist Rahman is hard at work. I also finally found out the department that Dr. Meng who recently did a procedure that helped clear my mothers infection. He is a doctor from pulmonology. I do not want to take away from other patients at the hospital but, what I can say is if you wait and hang in there if you have cancer, I am pretty darn certain the cancer vaccine will fix you. It is in the works already for 10 different cancers but it could be coming in 2027 for mylenoma. I pray to god for all patients at the hospital because it works. I just know and it used to be blind faith but now it is real faith that is visible in the compassion of the hospital and its staff, also the asian guy who rings up my meal from the cafeteria and the guy behind the counter with the delicious ziti. (I do not know their names) They all contribute to the overall positive compassionate atmosphere.
I also know I am not the most charismatic person around, but God the creator cares about your intentions not your vanity so I feel compelled to continue to mention all the light workers and blue collar workers I encounter at Robert Wood. God the creator empowered me to do this. I thank god the creator and that is all I will say anymore about religion or politics. That is all I will delve into about those topics.
Update: Officer Jay kindly directed me to 5 north when my mother first stayed here. I could not find it. and Dawn, and Anna are so nice at the front desk. Nurse Lakisha has been asking about my mom all the time making sure she is feeling well and Nurse Colleen has had a rough day and well thats all to common for the life of a nurse, doctor, tech or healthcare worker. Tough work, but not enough recognition.
Update August 31, 2026. Patricia in the light blue scrubs who was brought in from a different floor of the hospital had such a pleasant demeanor while answering phones. As humble as they are, she told me she does not work on 5 North, but I told her it does not matter because all the healthcare workers deserve recognition. In addition, Nurse Katelyn was passing by and I had not had the chance to mention her in this review, but I see her working while I am here and they are always tired and exhausted. I feel like all the staff deserve more respect considering this is probably one of the busiest hospitals in nj.
Update: it is not as chaotic during the night time, so I had the chance to thank Nurse Joyce the first nurse to receive my mom on 5 north.

My experience here has been great, so far! The staff has been friendly and helpful. They provide both in person and telehealth calls. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse!
The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. I can only speak to my experience with the staff, my Dr I've been had since starting, and my social worker stress cares provides to help you, even if just for a ride.

GenPsych helped me tremendously. It was my first time seeking help for my disease and before attending the sessions there I didn’t even recognize that I was addicted. I am now in an ongoing program of recovery and am very thankful for their role in that choice. My counselor, Brielle, was excellent. All the therapists were understanding and insightful. Ande was not only helpful but very supportive and forced me to look at things from a different perspective which was vital to me moving forward. I’m grateful to GenPsych and would encourage anyone who feels like they need help to seek them out. It could change your life for the better.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about GenPsych and the incredible people who work there. Walking through their doors was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my mental health and recovery. I came in during one of the most difficult periods of my life, and I left with hope, practical tools, and a renewed belief that healing is possible.
Every member of the staff treated me with kindness, compassion, dignity, and genuine respect. I never felt like just another patient. I felt heard, understood, and cared for by people who truly love what they do. They created an environment where it was safe to be vulnerable, to face difficult emotions, and to work on becoming a healthier version of myself.
I especially want to recognize my therapist, Deidra. She is truly exceptional. Her patience, insight, compassion, and ability to listen without judgment helped me more than I can adequately express. She challenged me when I needed it, encouraged me when I felt discouraged, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. She has a remarkable gift for helping people see possibilities in themselves that they may not be able to see on their own.
I also want to recognize Magdalena, the physician assistant. Without exaggeration, she is the best psychiatric provider I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to truly understand me instead of simply treating symptoms. She listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and worked with me to find the right treatment plan. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being gave me tremendous confidence throughout my recovery. I always felt that she was invested in my healing, and that made all the difference.
What impressed me most about GenPsych is that everyone works together as a team. From the therapists to the medical providers to the support staff, you can feel that they genuinely want every patient to succeed. Recovery isn’t easy, but having people like this walking beside you makes the journey far less overwhelming.
Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, or other mental health challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend GenPsych. Asking for help is one of the hardest things a person can do, but this is a place where you will be met with compassion instead of judgment and encouragement instead of criticism.
My sincere hope is that I never have to return because that would mean I continue living the healthy life they helped me build. But if life ever brought me back, I would do so with complete confidence and gratitude, knowing I would once again be surrounded by an extraordinary team of caring professionals.
Thank you to everyone at GenPsych for helping me heal, grow, and rediscover hope. The impact you’ve had on my life is something I will never forget.

Brick, NJ | Preferred Behavioral Health Group is a network of behavioral health treatment centers and one of their locations is in Brick, New Jersey. One of the programs at this facility is a treatment program for parents with drug and alcohol addiction. There are actually two programs that are run from this location. One is the Preferred Center for Children a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It took a little bit with my insurance provider to find a decent facility to help with my psychological shortcomings, then I was paired with Preferred. Once there, it took a bit to be paired with a therapist who I was really able to relate with. That said, my therapist has been a great Blessing, and really cares.
After asking a few well pointed questions, I found out that they have a job placement service as well. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I'm very Blessed to be in such good hands.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND
