Doctors and nurses here are so so nice. Even the janitors and meal delivery persons asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything. The room is also very well kept, clean and organized. Sophia 2 months ago I went here in 2016 for a surgery. I overall had a good experience with everything and almost everyone. Only negative was a nurse named Darlene in Same Day Surgery. She was so rude when I asked for a simple blanket and all I heard was her big mouth gossiping at the desk. Never forgot it because she was so horrible and mean. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse! The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. First of all, having been in different locations so far this hospital has far been the best compared to others. I know that hospitals like their psych units often get a bad rep, hence the many negative reviews. I gotta praise the cleanliness of this place. The custodians take effort in cleaning at least once a day, such as the rooms and hallways. The staff were nice and caring such as nurses, social workers, doctors, OTs and behavioral health workers. They actually treat patients as actual human beings. My stay was pretty short, but it was the first time I got out stable and content after this stay despite my minimal time here. This is a good facility for MAT (medication assisted treatment) as well as helpful groups, peer recovery, helpful staff, and many patients that befriend & help each other. They have case workers that can help with social services and provide resources, for patients that need further assistance (i.e. homelessness, daily living assistance, etc). There is a great medical staff for dosing, therapy, psychiatric, and other medical concerns. The facility has many ways to assist with costs (i.e. private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Govt funding, etc), always ask for assistance; they have helped so many patients that couldn't afford recovery. They can also assist with external resources for medical transportation; however, this may depend on insurance. Recovery is a daily battle, sometimes it can take a long time to get there.
