I called to make an appointment for my husband and the receptionist, Danielle was extremely helpful, caring and patient in figuring out how to get him seen the soonest. I ve gone to this clinic myself for years and I m surprised at all the negative reviews posted; as all of the visits I ve had there have shown knowledgeable professionalism by Drs and PAs and caring staff members- nurses, phlebotomists and front desk personnel.

It can be quite difficult to get into Santa Fe Recovery Center(SFRC) through traditional means. I suggest making a visit to a Santa Fe hospital emergency room and telling the doctor you want to go to SFRC detox. These patients are given priority.I found Santa Fe Recovery to be the best detox I have attended in long list of treatments attempted in new mexico. With the help and support of SFRC I was able to launch the longest period of clean time I have achieved to date. I most certainly recommend it. There is no magic pill or program that will fix an addict. There's no cure for addiction. There is only treatment, which, with the full participation of the addict, can be of great assistance in regaining a happy and healthy life.If you encounter a problem that threatens your detox or recovery you must advocate for yourself. You cannot expect people to read your mind.Any current medications must be reviewed and documented by a doctor at the time of entrance. Make sure staff has this documentation before beginning detox to prevent any interruption of dosing. Otherwise it'll have to be re- prescribed by their doctor who is very busy, so this may take 5 days or more.If someone asks you to take a medication you are allergic to Do Not Take It! Inform or repeat the issue to staff. They do not force medication in your mouth and compel you to swallow it.Do not expect to get along with every single staff member; they are people just like us; sometimes with personalities that clash with our own. Avoid staff that upset you or make you uncomfortable when possible. Tell your counselor the situation. They can advise the best course of action.Do not expect any staff member to work harder for you than you do for yourself; no one can do this for you.Even if detox/rehab doesn't go the way you had hoped or you are not able maintain recovery at worst you were able to achieve a bit of clean time(which is no small thing) and you know where to come back when you're ready. Or where not to come back and try another program. Just keep trying. Our worst and most compleat failures are the goals we never attempt to reach

Been going since I was a teen and they ve always been professional and accommodating. I ve seen a few different therapists and have learned everyone has different teaching methods that may not suit you individually. Dr. Freedman truly is a man who personally cares about his patients. He will attempt to remedy a condition with pharmaceuticals (when necessary) alongside natural treatments. He will listen to what you have to say, and keeps an open mind vis-a-vis treatment options. Most importantly, Dr. Freedman recognizes the diversity of individuals on the phycological level and will not treat every patient as the same.

I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. I definitely recommend shadow mountain to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and changing their life. Thank you all!!

The facilities and environment and programs at Vista Taos are exceptional. I researched many rehab facilities in the U.S. in several states (NM, Ariz., Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Florida) and after careful consideration of all features, size, programs, quality of care, offerings, environment -- Vista came out on top, as my #1 pick best of all rehab programs. Also, the intake counselor Jeremy was extraordinary, he took so much time and care to discuss programs and specifics, and advise me about pros and cons of rehab in general, what to look for, how to evaluate programs, and how to select the best options for my family member. He even helped me network with other rehabs to get their info and compare. He is an amazing resource and the most caring, giving intake person I encountered in all rehabs I searched. I endorse Vista as the very best of programs.

Just got off the phone with the billing department after being told by multiple multiple methadone clinics and my own of 3 and a half years that no one would except my insurance and that they would not help me until I pay the past due $$$ due to me getting scammed on my insurance which I already filed a grievance and took care of takes time to go into affect. Anyway I m down to 20 mg from 160 and this is the only clinic that actually was willing to work with me, and the staff was friendly, even though I was very rude so I would say this is the first methadone clinic I found where they actually seem to care about their patients and not just the money I would highly recommend to anyone having an issue at another clinic. They were professional, friendly and could ve just turned me away, but helped instead
