While visiting relatives for the holidays, I fell on the stairs and injured several areas of my body. Besides several contusions, I fractured my arm, in the wrist area, and caused a head injury. I checked published ratings before choosing where to go, and almost decided against going to UPMC Chautauqua; however, I m so glad I ignored the negative comments! From the minute I walked in, until the minute I left, I was treated with the upmost kindness and extraordinary professionalism. I have been using the VA for all my medical care since 2008. When I moved to back to Jamestown the CBOC would be the 5th facility I have used for medical care after retiring from 23 years of service. The service here is compassionate, caring and skilled. The fact that they have all three is impressive since I found care where all or some of these three elements are missing. You will be treated properly here. They do a fantastic job.

The Erie VAMC is incredible. This is certainly one of the best kept secrets in VA healthcare. In the larger clinics in Colorado I was treated like cattle, just another vet needing help. At the Erie VAMC they have treated me with the utmost respect and dignity no matter what part of the clinic I use. My primary care experience has been first class. My provider genuinely cares about my health and well-being. My prescriptions have been filled immediately as well as any supplies that I need. I just had a surgical procedure today and the whole surgical staff was friendly, professional, and caring. I am so happy and thankful for all of the amazing folks that work here!

I work at another VAMC. I brought a Veteran for an appointment today to the Buffalo VAMC. Dr. Ferrario was a breath of fresh air! She was pleasant, strait forward and very knowledgeable. She answered all the veterans questions and even escorted us to the area to schedule upcoming appointments. She should be commended on her acceptional care! I did their IOP and regular outpatient with a successful discharge. The first time completing an outpatient since 2011. The staff their is friendly and really helps meet your needs. They have different times and days for groups to work around your schedule. The groups are very insightful and a place to share your experience, strength, and hope judgment free. The counselors are great in the material they bring to group as well as making your treatment plan so you can focus on your individual needs. I was/am actually impressed with Crossroads mainly because they always had a pretty bad reputation and I actually hesitated on going there because of that. I was very surprised at the whole experience the staff was/is very pleasant and helpful and they don't try to look down on you or pass any kind of judgment upon you and I have to say that was very important to me. I really enjoy the office in west Seneca ny, The office people are always so sweet and very helpful, I did attend the springville office and I wasn t comfortable with the counselor I finally got assigned, I was switched 4 times at that office I never truly knew who my counselor was, after I switched offices the west Seneca counselors are all very sweet understanding and no one at all in the office judges you by any means they all understand that everyone is going there for a reason and honestly When I m there talking to anyone really they make you feel as if your talking to a family member or a close friendI have had the same doctor up until two months ago and she again was absolutely wonderful and now seeing a nurse practitioner and he is great understand and you can tell he truly is there to helpSo in my opinion if anyone is unsettled at there out patient facility I highly recommend the west Seneca spectrum office on orchard park Road
