I was a resident there in the late 80s I remember the staff there I remember a lot of the staff members. They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. He was on the boys unit last I heard he was working in the school Wrote a story about the boy I remember in my life during time I really needed them so thank you To the staff that was there during the time I was there

They Draw out the program so they can drain our insurance companies. They say they are a not for profit, but the paperwork I seen said $143 per person in group, andy wife's group had like 10 people. Sounds like profit to me!
In other places I've seen highly addicted people finish a program in like 6 months. My wife been dragging on there lot longer, with no failed drug tests!!!
This place is definitely about the $$$.
Avoid if you can find outpatient treatment elsewhere!

The place is very unprofessional I've been through several different programs I've been in the program for 18 months they give people narcotics there and consider it like they have clean time like if anybody is actually really trying to get clean it is absolute from all drugs and they actually like give people key tags there for like taking Suboxone and other kinds of drugs and it's a bunch of b******* really because if you read your big book you basic text your living clean it all states very very clearly the abstinence from all drugs meaning Lee all drugs so I personally call BS on this place their staff is like very misleading they are not helpful they say they have your back and they don't need to call them they never returned your call and you when you go to the window they're very rude the lady told me to sit on when they have literature up there for you to read I had every recommended and going to huther Doyle in the city dr. Wiegand is one of the best in the nation or even Gates Medical stay as far away from this place as you can in their way low budgeted like I've been to a lot of quality places in their groups are like might as well go to kindergarten school and have two people in there don't seem to want it anyways they're just there because of court

In my opinion, CAO DART is by far the best MAT program in Western New York. The doctors are genuinely caring, and the main intake nurses are some of the most wonderful people with beautiful souls. Over the past five years, I've had two counselors, and they just so happen to be the best two I've had in my 17-year battle with addiction. The staff, in general, is incredibly kind and respectful—they don't treat you like a "junkie." Instead, they approach each patient on a case-by-case basis, which is a refreshing contrast to programs that enforce rigid, one-size-fits-all rules. I can't rate this place high enough. I've been coming here for treatment for about 2.5 years now, and have gotten great treatment the entire time. The staff cares and genuinely wants to help. I had to go through a couple therapists to get to my current one, but she is an absolute godsend and I'm so incredibly thankful I was able to become her patient.
Her name is Kristin, and she's absolutely fantastic. I always know I can reach out to her and get excellent advice. She actually took the time to work her way in through my incredibly thick walls I've built around myself, and put in the effort to actually understand me and how I work. She's never made me feel bad for anything, and knows how to push me to saying/doing what I need to. She's actually made me want to go to therapy.
My biggest praise to sing for her is from earlier today, which spurred me to write this review. She just called me, from home, ON HER DAY OFF, to check on me because of an email I sent her last night. She took the time out of her day, unpaid, to call me and make sure that I'm okay and that I'm safe. I'll never forget that.

Saved my husband's life he's been sober for 16 years now in the beginning I thought it was impossible he was so bad but the first week he started being treated for his addiction he was doing a lot better and before we realized it's been 16 years this November I know it doesn't work for everyone and I certainly do pray for them but It worked for him and I'm so grateful to CHS/Dr.Updike/Staff for being so dedicated to the cause of helping us recover...
