Findlay Recovery Center is truly life-changing. The facility is clean, welcoming, and filled with people who genuinely care. My case manager Kalee was my light during one of the darkest times in my life — always bright, encouraging, and reminding me there was hope when I couldn’t see it. My therapist Megan always knew just what to say and never made me feel like a burden. She helped me start to appreciate myself again. Kody made learning both fun and informative (we both have lots of useless knowledge bouncing around in our heads, and somehow it worked!). Devon made sure everyone felt seen, validated, and—let’s be honest—kept us from getting too squirrely! Vickey, my favorite driver and tech, was the first to rescue me from the darkness and help me find my light. Always smiling, always uplifting. And thank you to Mike, who runs this incredible place—you can tell he takes pride in it because the staff are happy and it shows. Oh, and Elliott—never a dull moment (in the best way)! The Brownies were amazing, and so was everything else. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, this is it.

I have been going to Harbor behavioral health for psychiatric care and I even started out going there for therapy. It has been the most life-changing and wonderful/painful/tear filled/confusing, but ultimately hopeful experience I have ever had. They are changing my life. Sarah Bailey was my psychiatrist right after my psychosis and she was with me for the past two years. She helped me learn to walk and was there for me every time I had a crisis. She and Nikki were my cheerleaders through the toughest time in my life. Alexya Romo was the counselor that I found there and she is still my counselor to this day. If it wasn’t for these people, I don’t think I’d be where I am today. And yeah, I can’t speak for everyone but the team I got were all-stars. Fast forward to today: a woman named Mallory took Nikki’s place and she is very responsive, kind, and caring. I don’t know her well but I know she cares about her job. My new psychiatrist is Angela and we are still learning about each other and I think she is doing a good job listening to me and connecting with me. I think she has healthy and strong boundaries as a practitioner. Which makes me think she is trustworthy and that is a great place to start. Thanks guys.

I don't have enough words to express how great Devlac is! Definitely one of the better programs in the area-in fact, I'd say it's the BEST! Compassionate, caring & fun staff! Each and every one of them are invested in helping women overcome & prosper! Structured program with the fluidity to allow clients to focus groups or meetings on topics pertaining to their specific needs! Clients are absolutely treated as equal, important, and worthy! My child and I met with Logan for nearly a year regarding her anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. He was the perfect match for us…easy to talk to, responsive, helpful. We were finally able to successfully navigate cognitive behavioral therapy because Logan allowed my daughter to manage her exposures in her own time…it was exactly what she needed. I am also extremely grateful that Logan was open to us digging into her physiological health in order to uncover imbalances that were heightening her anxiety response. She is doing so well that our sessions have come to a close, but I can honestly say we will miss spending time with Logan each week. Thank you!

I took my Ma into the ER for pain in her lower right side. They were pretty busy but got Ma a room in 15 minutes. They gave her some pain meds and took her for a catscan on her side and back. They took real good care of her. The staff was nice and polite and Very helpful. The room was nice and clean. They diagnosed Ma gave her medicine and called in medication to our local pharmacy. Got us in and out in 4 hrs. I had to come do out patient bloodwork for my family Doctor before my appointment. They were very nice and professional and went out of their way to get my order from my doctor. It was a quick in and out this time.

I recently stayed for 6 days on the MedSurge floor. I want to give a huge Shout Out to the staff. The PCTs,the Nurses,the Dietary,and the Dr's. were fabulous!!! Everyone was very kind and supportive . I've been a nurse for many many years and I was truly blessed to be in their compassionate care. They were always helpful and encouraging. *Editing to add that I continued this care with Dr. Streeter, who is the best! I have been stable for 19 months and counting! Was having a mental health crisis due to PTSD. I am very thankful there is a psychiatric urgent care at the Ashland location. Dr. Snyder was amazing and so understanding. Very happy I can start on a road to getting through everything in a more stable way, just needed some help to get started! Would recommend if you have a long wait to get into a doctor for medication. They also set you up with a psychiatrist to manage the meds going forward if you dont already have one. So helpful. ♥️ really grateful this care exists.

Chris in the crisis support unit really went the extra mile to help me. She was on the phone, then came out and met me when I finally made the choice to come in, and gave me some comfort. She was very honest which I really found important, and I'm really glad that I came in. She celebrated the little victories while I had there, and was the one to see me out when I left. Everyone seemed really enjoyable in the CSU and support staff seemed lovely as well. I believe Sarah was the other person I met there, and I really enjoyed how she spoke on my level and it was very calm, and casual, and I liked how the professional getup was gone, it felt very personable and to me that was extremely valuable. The other places I've gone to have been alright, but I'm one of those people who value real person-to-person connection, and my short visit to the crisis unit really helped me out a lot.

I have been coming here for just about 2 years, and it was the best thing I've ever done! This place has been such a benefit to my sobriety! All the staff members are great! After experiencing an accident, I had to join a program while also managing communication with the court — a very stressful time in my life.
