Prestera has changed so much since I was last seen there. My therapist Kristen is the best and she actually cares about my mental health. I went to protesters center at Point Pleasant for years.The receptionist , Matthew Berkely, was always patient and friendly . He did a good job.I saw a lady there that was a great help in getting my SSI. Katherine.My therapist was the absolute best ever.I still miss her gentle help and very helpful , kind personality. Her office was like a peaceful oasis to step into.Kay Dey. The staff is so nice and very polite and they go out of the way to help you try to get whatever you need if you need a social worker if you need a mental health counselor, any doctors appointments they strive to help you get back on your feet. The counselors are amazing. They re a genuinely care and they genuinely want to help overall I love Brightview. I ve been going here for a few years. This is one of the top drug and alcohol centers. Best IOP program , they provided my transportation to and from, the drivers Terry, Stephanie and Jacob, and Billy were always respectful. THE IOP program ran by Ellisha Seabolt(peer) and Rudy Drummon (therapist)are just amazing, so helpful, fair, and knowledgeable. They too are in recovery, which helps you feel that more comfortable and you can be completely open and honest with absolutely no judgement. I recommend their program and encourage anyone to just reach out, don't be afraid to ask for help. It will save and change your life toward better days.

St. Joseph's Recovery Center holds a special place in my heart. I once was a client here myself 4 years ago, and now I work here as a Peer Support Specialist. Most of the staff here and in recovery themselves so the clients can really relate to them. The team I work with is ore like family than coworkers. Upper management truly cares about us staff and listens to our suggestions or input. I disliked this place at first. I had trouble getting appointments and medicine refills. Now though, they got better. Some say the staff is rude, but they are really overworked. The staff nice once you get to know them, and to be honest. Many of the patients I see in the place seem way more rude.

All of the post op care providers were great. I was told in the pre op anesthesia room I was to get a sedative and a nerve block. I never got those things, I was taken to the operating room and put under. The pain felt in recovery was the worst id ever had.

The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.
