SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. The opportunity to heal here gives me hope to continue on my recovery journey. We do recover!

The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.

Medical detox is something I highly recommend. I was not uncomfortable for one minute once it began and the food is AWESOME. Bring your own soda and cigarettes because you can smoke outside.

This facility has truly helped alot of people in the area and alot of people feel they can always return if they need some help getting back on track whether it be detox or long term . Clients look up to Ms Blessing for the kindness she shows alot of people when they are at their rock bottom. We truly believe you can always go anywhere you want to go with the right mindset and tools you just have to have someone behind you to get started in that direction. On 3west. Staff were awesome, food was ok for the most part, facility was old but clean. Classes and groups were mostly inaplicable to my situation though and the place is obviously understaffed.

This facility saved my daughters life and made us a family once again. I had all but given up hope of my daughter being clean and sober, and then she ended up here. Great program that is so effective! When my family came for visits we were always treated so kindly and made to feel very welcome. I'm asking about the program actually. At detox how is it exactly? Are the women and guys around one another? As well as the php and housing with the classes. Do you have groups and all that with the opposite sex? It's kind of a distraction for me that's why I am asking lol but while I'm here how is the food and are there TV's in the detox rooms and basically is it comfortable? At first, there was some confusion with the first Provider that did my intake. I am not sure he knew how to treat my addiction since it was not a common substance. Kratom is not widely known or understood as a substance that is highly addictive, especially if you have a history of opiate addiction.
I am being seen by a different Provider after that first visit and she is awesome. She (Joey) seems well educated and has been amazing with my treatment plan.
There is no shame in admitting you have a problem and it takes a strong person to ask for help. Don't let the disease get the best of you - YOU ARE WORTH IT!

I was traveling through the area when a sudden (and very painful) medical issue came up. I’m a veteran but hadn’t yet signed up for VA care, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into the ER—honestly, my expectations were low. But wow, was I surprised.
From check-in to triage to treatment, the entire experience was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and efficient. I was ambulatory (just in a lot of pain) and they treated me very promptly. The doctor quickly diagnosed the issue, got me into radiology, and I had answers fast. I was on my way with relief and a plan.
Truly blown away by the level of service and compassion. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of veterans. I hope someone in leadership sees this…they all deserve recognition (and a raise!).

My doctor's here were very kind and open. I don't regret it one bit. I received great care from here and help and support. Food here was amazing, the nursing staff made sure I understood everything. Shout out to the nurses for being so kind to me.

Can’t say that I have ever had a pleasurable experience in an emergency room but Beckley VA Medical Center came quite close. HUGE shoutout to Dr. Pisupati, Debbie Hull, and all of the midnight staff who went above and beyond last night for Kenny. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, compassion, and kindness. Dr. even took the time to track me down trying to nap in the truck to make sure I understood everything they had ruled out. MUCH LOVE FOR THESE FOLKS, THANK YOU!!!!
