With every review on here that is negative, it’s either a parent fully believing a child’s anecdote of feeling like the professional is judging them, or a client feeling unseen because of a minor miscommunication. With both of those, I have felt the exact same way. But you will get this with everything if you’re in a bad place. And you cannot get help if you never give second chances or try to help yourself. I’ve been going to this clinic for 8 years, since I was 12. I am schizophrenic, and did not ever expect myself to be content, let alone alive by 18. I want to personally thank the front desk scheduling staff for being kind and welcoming, I want to thank the crisis center staff and volunteers who show up day and night for us, I want to thank William Mchaffy for showing a genuine interest in my improvement and patience for my rocky growth, and I want to thank Cindi Long for staying with me till she and I both left the town to move on, her to continue to help other, and me to continue to help myself. I wouldn’t be where I am without the help of these courageous and kind citizens who simply wanted to make the world a better place.
