With every review on here that is negative, it’s either a parent fully believing a child’s anecdote of feeling like the professional is judging them, or a client feeling unseen because of a minor miscommunication.
With both of those, I have felt the exact same way. But you will get this with everything if you’re in a bad place. And you cannot get help if you never give second chances or try to help yourself.
I’ve been going to this clinic for 8 years, since I was 12. I am schizophrenic, and did not ever expect myself to be content, let alone alive by 18. I want to personally thank the front desk scheduling staff for being kind and welcoming, I want to thank the crisis center staff and volunteers who show up day and night for us, I want to thank William Mchaffy for showing a genuine interest in my improvement and patience for my rocky growth, and I want to thank Cindi Long for staying with me till she and I both left the town to move on, her to continue to help other, and me to continue to help myself.
I wouldn’t be where I am without the help of these courageous and kind citizens who simply wanted to make the world a better place.

Staff are angels and all of them truly care about your well being, and want to see you thrive. Sadly theres only one doctor there and they work once a week, and they're quite a bit stingy with certain medications (Like amphetamines for ADHD and Benzos for panic disorder). Highly reccomend this place for therapy and some mental health medications, but I'd look elsewhere for primary care.

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

I did ECT through Lindner Center late last year. Every person who worked there was kind, caring, and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly and all my questions were answered.
I wasn’t sure if the ECT was helpful but after a couple of months, everyone close to me saw it. I’m so thankful that I was able to help through Lindner. Previous to this, I had done basically all that was available (PHP, IOP, TMS, Ketamine), besides regular therapy sessions, and meds.
Update: It’s late Oct and I’ve been doing ECT since Dec, so close to a year. My mental health has continued to improve and I haven’t been in crisis all year!

Yesterday was my first time visiting the VA and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the Doctor took her time with my visit and explained all the different benefits the VA has to offer. First time going to a doctor’s office where I didn’t feel like it was a rush to move on to the next patient.

ASAP is an amazing facility. The staff is outstanding and communicate with the families often. They treat the teen in need as a whole instead of focusing on only one issue. I love the support given to the families because it helps to know you’re not alone in the battle to help your child. Speaking with the other parents during group helps with learning different ways to support your child. Tools are taught to teach coping skills that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend ASAP to anyone with a teen struggling with addiction and mental illness!

Dr Shela Forbellah has helped me more than any Dr in a lot of years. She's very intelligent and professional and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I was ordered to attended Solutions in Springboro through Warren County Court. The group session I attended lasted approx. 2 to 3 months just depending on attendence in the Tuesday night (Google Meet) class (1 1/2hrs). Class participants were also required to attend 1 individual meeting (1 hour) on Google meet once a month. Anqi was my counselor at Solutions. As much as I did not want to be involved with Solutions or Google meets, Anqi was able to keep me connected with the program and made it somewhat enjoyable. Anqi was very accommodating to contact with any questions or concerns. Anqi is an asset to Solutions and the the industry as a whole. It comes to the point if you are honest with your counselor and staying on the right path the class should not be an issue. Overall if someone I know was ordered to take the classes Solutions offers, I would have no problem referring them to Anqi and Solutions of Springboro.
