As a family member of someone struggling with addiction, finding the right facility felt overwhelming and terrifying. Lumiere changed everything for us. From the very first phone call, the staff treated our loved one with compassion, dignity, and genuine care. They didn’t judge— they understood.
Watching the transformation that happened inside those walls was incredible. Lumiere didn’t just address the addiction; they helped rebuild hope. The staff made our family feel included and supported. They communicated with us, reassured us, and walked us through the hardest moments with patience and kindness.
What meant the most is that their support didn’t end when our loved one was discharged. They followed up, checked in, and continued offering encouragement and resources. You can tell they truly care about long-term recovery, not just the time spent in the facility.
Our family is so grateful for Lumiere.

This use to be a great place when Dr.park was alive. He died 2 months ago and since has been down hill. They keep you there hours after your appointment time waiting to be seen. It use to be totally different. The doctor now puts Dr.park down every visit since. Which has been 2, today would have made 3. But i didnt go because I took covid test and tested positive and was told, it did not matter come any ways or no medication. This blew me away, Also found out the whole time my insurance was excepted when they said it was not. Ive paid out of pocket this year right at 4000 dollars.....it is now 2 months later I've returned to this office. I switched doctors and she us absolutely the best person ever. And since returning they are in the process of returning my money. And the ones that were there causing this problem is no longer there. So once I recieve my money I will let you know to see if it actually comes through. Sorry took son long to get back on here. It's now July 2025, and Chelsea sparks is the best doctor there could be. Lebanon, OH | Talbert House – Warren Outpatient Services is part of a community nonprofit that serves Southwest Ohio residents. They offer adult and youth behavioral health, housing, community care, and court and corrections services. Their Lebanon, Ohio location serves residents of Clinton and Warren counties. Residents of other counties may be eligible f | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been with this Talbert House location for a couple of years after being placed into court ordered therapy for an ILC program. There are some things that I’d like to state. The very first therapist I had, an Asian woman, was awful. I do not think she is currently with the company, I don’t know if that had anything to do with her awfulness. She was very callous, judgmental, and constantly made me feel like a P.O.S and like my appointments were a burden to her. I didn’t feel like any of my therapy sessions helped because she was, for lack of better word, a see you next Tuesday who clearly didn’t like anyone that had a run in with substances in their past (despite me being clean since May 21 on opioids, and only smoking a little weed here and there and minor alcohol).
However, my therapist now, Kaitlyn, has made up for that. I’m able to be open and honest with her about everything. I had a recent DV incident with my ex that completely changed my life and flipped everything upside down. With Kaitlyn, I’ve been able to stay sober from marijuana and alcohol, and feel satisfied doing so. Not that your therapists are supposed to feel like your “friends” but now that Kaitlyn will be going to a different facility to help even more people, I do not know if my next therapist will be as good as Kaitlyn. My therapy sessions with Kaitlyn have me believing in the mental health institution and in therapy itself. Before, I only came because I had to. Now, I WANT to come because it’s healing me.
This Talbert House will be losing an amazing employee and I only hope the next practitioners are even half the therapist of her.
After some thought I wanted to add something else. When my ex strangled me and went to jail, this Talbert House absolutely saved me and my sons lives. I was homeless and living in my car and a shelter, and went into preterm labor at 30 weeks pregnant from the assault. Kaitlyn, Amanda, and the others at the team here at Talbert House found me somewhere to live, had it furnished, and had so many donations for me and my son in less than a week. Without them, I don’t know if me and my child would still be together or if I’d even be alive. When you read these reviews please consider that maybe they aren’t giving therapy or this location a fair chance. Turnovers happen everywhere, therapists get new and better jobs. They find new opportunities, they grow and change within their lives. However it doesn’t mean that this Talbert isn’t doing their best.
If you give yourself a fair and fighting chance, you will absolutely succeed at this Talbert House.

Persons reading these reviews might get confused as there are two sides to this place. One is mental health where there is counseling and medication for mental disorders. I have not seen one bad review from that side. The other side is medicated assisted drug recovery center. I am not positive of the exact definition this is my own. Most of these reviews appear to be toward the medicated assisted recovery side. There are some "glitches" for the drug side but for the most part it is a really good place o be when you decide that you are done with active addiction. The staffing has changed within the last 4 or 5 years. It was a wonderful change and the place is very much so a good place to be. I personally attend both sides of this place. I am very happy with the service I have received from both sides.
