Came through here nearly 3 years ago and am happy to say I am still clean. Place is amazing if you are willing to take some suggestions and not stay in old patterns. Ton of dudes I went through stayed sober a year or more.
The ones who complained and threw themselves a pity party while blaming the world for their problems, instead of being accountable for themselves; relapsed.
This place gives you every opportunity to succeed, you just have to be to willing.

Wilson Hall and the entire staff are absolute angels on earth! If anyone has negative things to say about the staff or facilities their probably fighting themselves over getting sober and allowing the process to work. I am so not perfect or the "pillar of the community" but as the House Coordinator (for both extended stays) I saw miracles happen on a daily!! Mr Montgomery treated me like I was his son and family. They care about my fellow veterans struggling and are always there to answer a question or give you clarity on a thought or emotion. I have been going here for 8years and never had an issue and if I ever did the staff where there to help me. Comquest saved my life and I would recommend it to anyone! When getting help there are certian things you have to do and sometimes they are not comfortable for you. With medications i have never had one issue, the doctors are NOT quick to get you off, they always have told me whenever your comfortable, I told them I will be on this for life, they told me no problem. Thank god for this program cause it gave me, my life back and I am able to enjoy my son and wife and have a family and build back what addiction took from me and conquest and its staff where the people there for me.

Please know you literally changed my life several years ago and I wanted to thank you. I moved to this town and had been suffering for 1.5 years because the doc I had refused to change my med that wasn't working. The first visit your docs changed up the med and in 2 weeks I was no longer suffering. So Thank you for caring enough to try something different. I suffered unnecessarily for a year and a half...it's difficult to just find a new doc when you are suffering terrible. Moving to GH town and Charak saved me. When docs don't listen or work to find a solution it's difficult but go somewhere else. Advocate for yourself because 1.5 years of suffering that obviously was not necessary is IMHO criminal. I wish someone would have helped me get a different doc or had told me to keep trying different docs til I found one that cared. Thank you GH office for giving me my life back!

The Ravenna VA Outpatient Clinic is a GREAT place to be a member of. I have never had to wait for a visit for more than 30 minutes. The Doctors are the best at this clinic. Dr B and Dr F are the best! I had Dr. B as my family physician at University Hospital in Ravenna for 3 years before he joined the VA staff which is next door to the VA clinic. He is an extremely intelligent Doctor and goes out of his way to be professional and dig into what might be causing any discomfort for you.
I had an emergency problem, called the clinic and was assigned to Dr. F. in 2 hours who I never had contact with before the call. It turns out that he was also a carbon copy of Dr. B. Great listener and got right to a diagnosis of my problem and set me up with a quick procedure at the Hospital.
The staff is also the best. Everyone that I have had contact with is very friendly and dedicated to their job.
I have nothing but the highest opinion of the Ravenna clinic!

Most individuals seeking counseling support, any form of adiction accredited counselors are available, very friendly experience, great support staff! No reason someone cant find the help he or she needs, very professional staff ready to figure our the best approach plan for every individual case!! If you need some help, do not be afraid to open up and be honest, they are very up on Hippa laws, and the gut feeling I got was they sincerely care about people!!!!!

The horizon house helped save my life. The staff here is absolutely incredible they were always there for me when I needed help or someone to talk to. Chris is an incredible caring man. Melissa and Tracy were always so sweet, kind, helpful and uplifting. The facilitators Rob, Shiann, Maddie, Charisma, Hazel were great teachers with alot of advice. Kristen the case manager was truly an inspiration along with a few others. The general staff were always there to talk to if needed. I will always have a place in my heart for this staff. The people that work there are great!! Always trying to help the best they can, trying to build community with amazing events and really showing what a good institution this is. I've been going for over 6 months now and I have to say that everyone is so nice. My counselor has literally saved my life and helped me work through my anxiety.

I want to thank everyone at canton outpatient! My husband is Vietnam veteran and been going since 2014 and still going there ! They all have treated me and my husband very friendly, professional and not afraid to smile or give a laugh ! He is seen for different reasons! One time I didn’t agree with a blood sugar specialist but he got changed and has been great ever since, has had issues with his eyes and he can see again! I’ve always felt they have went above and beyond how they take care of him ! Vets have helped us so much we appreciate them all ! They don’t hesitate on doing anything with my husband! I just want to give a amazing review. New directions was the right choice for my teenager. They made a difference. They taught him so much in 60 days. Even if things don't go right I know they gave him the foundation of sobriety. So I would recommend to anyone who has a teenager struggling. I never had an issue with the treatment team or therapists. The teachers need to be replaced tbh. They treat the clients with disrespect and are kept unchecked about it. Other than that my stay was great. Thank you for helping me start my journey in recovery

Was a resident back in 2022 my therapist was rinn ramcke, did 120 days in two different stays, if your not used to being around recovery culture it can be hard, you can’t choose what kids come in but about half of them are heavy in streets. This is one of the better rehabs, you can go outside, go to meetings, and they can keep you busy but it’s also a ton of sitting around. I kept in contact with about 10 other kids throughout and I think 2 stayed sober.. maybe.. I learned nothing prepared you for how different life feels after this place.. in all the dark evil bs places like this can have, I look back at new directions as one of the more safe havens, any kid who tries fighting an other kid will immediately be discharged, I saw this happen twice. At the end of the day the staff are what dictates the mood and overall atmosphere, but I heard it doesint pay much so with what staff we had “40” “mac” “Rachel” “Amanda” “Oliver” “Frankie” “Eric” “Silvia” the teachers, and other faces like Susan and Robin were really inspirational to me and I still miss them in a way. I’m 19 and still struggle but I’m alive and trying.
