I spent 113 days there, was it worth it? Absolutely changed my life. I did not do no complaining about things That were meant to be grateful for Sam. My counselor was on point with not bullshitting me. Justin was a very good person as well. Ashley the nurse took the time to really help me on my medication‘s trying and doing the ones that were really worth for me and I’m so grateful today to be calm and not be so full of energy, but enough to just Focus. Rachel absolutely sweetheart, and she does all kinds of great things for the clients. Xavier was one of the best teachers that we had along with Nautica. She was a very straightforward, not letting us bullshit our way out of it, but focusing on the real problem me! This place has given me what I needed. I’ve been in addiction now for over 20 years in my life, but sometimes you just gotta quit complaining take a good hard look at yourself and start changing things and that’s what they help. All of these people help me. Do I give this five stars The rooms are magnificent TV in every room bathroom in every room only complaints I’ve seen came from people who absolutely did not want to change or hear any other person’s view. The counselors are very professional and extremely nice. Most groups at Arrow are very informative, fun and enjoyable. They also provide food at both the house and office. And you can do Walmart orders or have family and friends bring other foods/snacks to the office to take back to the house while you stay. The help is absolutely there, but this is a place where you genuinely get out of it what you put into it. If you come in with a bad mindset or resistance, you’re probably going to have a rough time — but that’s true of recovery anywhere. Going in with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude makes a difference in every single aspect of the process here. What stood out most to me was the expert level of care combined with real kindness and humanity. The staff doesn’t just tell you what to do — they guide you, support you, and give you the tools to take control of your own recovery journey. You’re not treated like a number. The employees truly care, from the techs to the clinical staff, and it shows every day. The clinical team is exceptional, and my counselor Danielle quite literally was a lifesaver for me. Her support, honesty, and commitment to my growth helped me through moments when I didn’t think I could keep going. Having someone who genuinely listens and believes in you can change everything, and that’s what I experienced here. The environment itself is structured, safe, and supportive — and honestly, it’s better than jail by a long shot. Meals are decent and consistent, which matters more than people realize when you’re trying to rebuild your life. And Ashley’s waffles deserve their own recognition — easily the best breakfast in town and something I still talk about. This program gave me guidance, accountability, and hope, but it also taught me that recovery is self-driven. Arrow Passage provided the foundation, and I had to choose to build on it. Because of that combination — their guidance and my willingness — I can say that I owe my life to this program. As of today, I am 83 days clean, and I am living proof that this program works if you work it. I’m incredibly grateful for Arrow Passage Recovery and the people who made a real difference in my life. I saw her for the first time in 2017 and she saved my life. I saw providers who dismissed, misdiagnosed and gave me medication that did more harm than good. Rachael listened, gave me a diagnosis that made sense and went above and beyond to get me on the appropriate medication. That was 9 years ago, and last year was the FIRST time since then that I had a medication adjustment. Unfortunately due to insurance I had to find a new practice to go to, but had I never had an insurance change I’d still be seeing her to this day. Melissa and Tracy were always so sweet, kind, helpful and uplifting. The facilitators Rob, Shiann, Maddie, Charisma, Hazel were great teachers with alot of advice. Kristen the case manager was truly an inspiration along with a few others. The general staff were always there to talk to if needed. I will always have a place in my heart for this staff. A huge thank you to Ashlee, Keia, Sharon and Natalie yall were a big part of my success at the house and I will forever be thankful to have met you all. If you need help with addiction do not be afraid to reach out to townhall 2 and get the help you need. These negative comments are probably people who didnt truly want the help. Amazing right 😊 One of the biggest things I was blessed by was this past holiday season they choose- I think one family out of them all -to give a $200 gift card to and they picked me and I was so shocked and so thankful that someone just GAVE me something like that! it was no strings attached they just gave me the gift card and my baby had a better Christmas than he would have because this has been a really rough time for me and I wouldn't have been able to do very much for under our tree. Between the food that was good for a treatment center that is just there to get you back on your feet and the lovely RA’s I felt welcomed and at a comfortable place to restart my life. I believe people don’t realize that once you bring yourself into a treatment center you’re giving your life over to the care of people that are just there to help you get sober, but at Matt Talbot they do so much more than that. I got a sense of family friendship and peer support. I want to give a special shout out to the RA’s Ms.Shannon, Ms.Lacie, Ms.Robyn, Ms.Arnetha, Ms.Ashely, Mr.Jerry, Ms.Gloria and more. No matter what time it was, they were there for me when I wanted or Needed something. If it was someone to talk to when I was feeling down or just a pen to write in my journal if it was a volleyball game to play outside or to listen to music on the speaker, they did it with a smile on their face and no hesitation. Not only were the RA’s Delightful And like a family to me, the counselors and group facilitators were also amazing. To name a few Ms.Dorlene was one of the best people to do groups with, my counselor Ms.Jill Was very supportive and a great listener. Ms.Liandre was also great with her groups and a very strong woman who was fair to everyone and gave us candy. Ms.Erin I didn’t work with personally, but she did a good group with Ms.Jill. Same with Mr.Charlie I didn’t personally work with him but he did a good group and was fun to be around.
