When I went up to the front desk to check on my mom, I was feeling overwhelmed and had tears in my eyes. The receptionist, who I believe was named Victoria, immediately noticed and offered me kindness and support. Her compassion and understanding helped me through a very emotional moment. I felt extremely respected and cared for—not only as a family member, but also in the way my mom was treated. Her kindness truly helped put me at ease during a stressful time. If you or a loved one ever needs surgery, I highly recommend the wonderful staff at UPMC’s ACS Ambulatory Surgery Center. And if I have her name correct, a special thank-you to Victoria at the front desk. ❤️ Elizabeth B 2 weeks ago I have a serious medical condition and spend a lot of time at UPMC in Erie, but was in Jamestown yesterday and had to go to the ER. I just wanted to say going in I was nervous because I haven't heard the best things about this hospital, but I just wanted to say the doctor who was there yesterday around 3 was absolutely wonderful. He was so caring and listened to everything I said and was so understanding. They helped me with my pain flare up and ran all the necessary tests to make sure my condition was not worsening. Everyone was so very kind and I would definitely go here again in the future if I had any other issues! Thank you everyone who took such great care of me yesterday. Erica 3 weeks ago I'll be honest. I went here looking for medical transport to a larger medical facility like Buffalo for a unique problem I was having. As much as they were willing to do so, Buffalo was not accepting transfers, so they admitted me. I was there for a couple days until they found a great solution to my problem. They always had my son‘s best interest at heart .They were always trying to keep him focused and keep his head straight. Learned to go work everyday working In the woodshop with Paul? Can’t remember. A lot of people saying there kids got jumped. Not sure how that can happen. We were never alone for more that a few minutes . But it was an experience I won’t forget. Especially when I should have been released but my mom said no and the counselor couldn’t make up lies anymore of why I was there stayed 2 months longer than needed for school to be out even though I got my ged they hys. The nurses in Labor&Delivery( Victoria, Kiana, Amanda, Jade) and postpartum( Laurie, Dawn, Alyssa) are absolute angels. They were so attentive, made me so comfortable from beginning to end, they were amazing at handling our baby . Midwife Mindy Clark delivered him and with her and the nurses directions had him out in 5 minutes!! You are in luck if you get any of these nurses, or midwives Mindy or Judith on your care team . Blanking on anesthesiologist name but he did a great job with the epidural, and doctor who offered to insert foley balloon last minute before her shift was over just to help me out!! I was in such capable hands and so thankful for these amazing people who work here ! Only complaint is the lady the first night taking food orders would not let me" double order " even though I was prescribed double ordering think her name was Janine?!! Otherwise all the food was amazing and highly recommend having your baby at St Vincent's!!!!! They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. They are very efficent, they will work with your schedule and they are genuine people. They are not a group that make you feel ashamed for your journey. They franklin office is very clean and organized, the staff are very nice and forthcoming. They arent trying to hide anything from you. I have had my fair share of office visits, phone calls and insurance problems with other agencies... I have had zero issues here. I would highly recommend crossroads to anybody that needed their help. I feel like they genuinely care about you, they don't force you to follow guidelines that dont make any sense to you and they don't push you uncomfortably. They are here for you and your progress on a timeline thats comfortable to you, not the other way around. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. I would like to take this time to say thank you for all that you have done for me but unfortunately without you in my life I have relapsed once again but thank you for trying it was a good run when you all were in my life. Their State St. location is for their ACT program, which you have to be referred to, and it does not operate the way this clinic does. Becky, the woman who runs this clinic, is a very knowledgeable and understanding woman. There were several times she took the time to personally speak to me regarding issues I was having at the other clinic. I never had issues at this clinic, at least not the kind I had at their other one. The nurse practitioner, Dan, has personal experience with dual diagnosis and he is also very knowledgeable. He is very attentive to the needs of his patients. There is another NP here, Kassie, who also does a pretty good job of listening to her patients. Ultimately, Stairways is not a bad organization.
