I was in Philhaven in spring 2023. I was so depressed and anxious before going in that I couldn't function and was rapidly losing weight, couldn't get out of bed. I'm grateful for my time in Philhaven, getting medications and coping skills to cope. The staff and everything was amazing. I'm also thankful for the psychiatrist Dr. Khan who gave me a mental health diagnosis that actually made sense. I can't believe I went my whole life without someone diagnosing me properly and I'm so glad Dr. Khan was able to. I am now able to handle my life and mental health. Thank you!

Our daughter ( 21 yrs old) spent 3 weeks at Philhaven. She was kept safe and was at a much better place emotionally upon her release. Thank you to her therapists and Dr who was willing to make a “medicine switch for the better. Also the activities were helpful. One thing we really appreciated was the phone calls she was allowed to make all day long and we could call in to talk with her any time. We spent a lot of quality time on the phone with her, it was a lifeline for her. I’m sure it’s not convenient for the staff to always have all these calls coming in and going out all day until late in the evening. I say “ Thank you” for allowing us that phone time and for providing for our daughters daily needs while she was there.

Top-notch facility I don’t think that there’s a better place you could go for treatment. The staff is amazing they always go above and beyond and make sure you get everything you need to be successful when you leave special shout out too Paige, number one employee most definitely deserves a raise!

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery.The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles. The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership. The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

I'M CURRENTLY ON THE MOUNTAIN I HAVE 10 MONTHS IN THIS PLACE IT'S WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT THERE'S GOOD STAFF THERE'S GOOD INTERNS GOOD COUNSELORS YEAH IT MAY NOT BE PERFECT NOBODY IS NOR IS ANY PLACE BUT THIS PLACE NEEDLESS TO SAY TURN MY LIFE AROUND AND HELPING ME DRAMATICALLY IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS PLACE I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'D BE PROBABLY IN THE GROUND THERE'S PLENTY OF TIMES I COMPLAINED ABOUT THINGS BUT LATER ON THINKING ABOUT IT THAT'S JUST ME THE MAIN THING THAT I'VE LEARNED IS PATIENCE I COULD SIT THERE AND PUT A LOT OF STAFF DOWN AND COMPLAIN ABOUT ALL THE NEGATIVE THINGS BUT THAT'S DISRESPECTFUL AND NON-CHRISTIAN LIKE AND FURTHER MORE SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR RECOVERY SO I JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS AND GIVE PRAISE AND THANKS TO MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AND PRAYER TO ALL THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ON THE MOUNTAIN KEEP ON THE RIGHT PATH GOD BLESS FOR TEEN CHALLENGE THANKS FOR THE BLESSING!

I am a 2021 graduate. Before coming to Teen Challenge, I was homeless on the streets of Philadelphia. I came here for recovery, but I got a new life instead. It sounds weird to say about my time in rehab, but it was one of the best years of my life. After graduating, I interned here, eventually becoming a staff member. I wanted to work here because of what I saw in the staff as a student, their love for God and people, and servanthood. I wanted to bring that same love and servanthood to people who are sick and suffering, like they did for me. It is not just a job but a calling. I would recommend PAATC to anyone struggling with addiction, and I am eternally grateful to God for using it to give me a life and a purpose.

Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge is a vessel used by God to change lives. My life has been changed here and there in no doubt about that. I went through the program 2 1/2 years ago and after 16 months I completed a 12 month program. That right it took me a little longer, but totally worth it. Yes treatment can be hard and I even complained most of the way through it. But I was also grateful during treatment. I wasn't on the streets of Philadelphia homeless, starving and hopeless. The staff here showed me love, compassion and empathy. The Lord's work is happening on this mountain and I believe that wholeheartedly. God used every situation here for me to grow closer to Him. I had a broken elbow witch I broken all the way through while homeless in Philadelphia and I got reconstruction surgery while at PAATC, I would have neglected that if I remained homeless. Also I had 3 warrants located in 2 states and the Lord allowed them to stay over my head (as a layer of protection) until he saw fit to allow them to be removed, because I would have left treatment if I didn't have warrants, like I have done so many times before. 2 years later I am warrant free. I have remained on the mountain after graduating to turn around and give back what was so freely given to me, Hope and a new way of life through Jesus Christ. This journey was not easy, but what journey worth wild is? I totally recommend this place to anyone that is struggling to get out of an endless cycle, but understand this will be the hardest thing you do but I promise you it will be the most rewarding one. Relationships restored, family restoration, a future and a hope. To me it was worth it. There is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self control here because God's Spirit is here. God Bless you

I got along real great with the staff here. They're wonderful people. Especially the cutie with the blonde hair and blue eyes. She's my favorite. her an i saw eye to eye on almost everything🥰. I love her. 💐

My husband went there nurses, staff and counselor dealing with kept me informed and updated with everything. I appreciated everything that they did for him there. The staff was very kind, patient with him.

My daughter’s therapy got discharged. I spoke with Michelle and Katelin and they got it squared away when it wasn’t supposed to be a discharge and got her right back in with her therapist. Michelle is also so friendly and helpful. I had my 18m old with me and she accommodated to his needs so he would sit still during a session. Thank you so much for all that you both do in this office!!

Hi my two grandsons go to Penessa and see Steven,he is amazing with the boy's and he his helping them so much with their issues. The receptionist Michelle is so nice and always is very welcoming. I myself see Kaitlyn on Mondays and she helps me a lot, such a wonderful person and therapist.

This program saved my life. The staff here is amazing especially the counselors. I highly recommend it. Most inpatient recovery places are strictly after 1 thing but not here. They actually care about everybody that comes through the door. They also allow you to work to get established for your next destination. What more can anybody ask for.

New Insights II cares about treating the individual from inside of their facility and beyond. With comprehensive treatment programs and setting up aftercare plans for individuals, they are empowering every person as they prepare for each next step in life. Also addiction impacts families as well and New Insights II hosts events which bring everyone together to prove recovery is possible for all. We can not give them a higher recommendation as we continue to see the impacts they are making in the lives of others!

I have been practicing DUI defense for 38 years and highly recommend New Insights for drug/alcohol treatment services. Brady Maxton has done a fantastic job with New Insights.

I came through here 2 times and am almost 3 yrs clean. I've had my ups and downs, multiple rehabs, multiple rehab relationships, etc. This was a male only rehab and that's what I needed. I could complain about some things but the goal was to stay clean and I didn't wanna die from an overdose. My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. Also the nurse Pam and I had an amazing relationship, we spent hours talking and she helped me so much. I want to thank Conewago Place for bringing my soul back.

I didn't know what to expect coming here as it was my first time at a rehab, and I was pleasantly suprised within hours of checking in. The staff are an incredible group of people; they really do care about you and your recovery. More than once I had techs, nurses and counselors go out of their way to help me and my peers out. There is always someone to talk to for help; I was never turned away when I really needed something. The food is good (shoutout to Lonnie), you will always have clean laundry and linens and a bed to sleep in. If you need help with legal or insurance this place will work with you to get you squared away. Make no mistake, you will have expectations here and be held accountable. But if you are serious about getting better and willing to put in the work I don't think you'll find many places better than White Deer Run. I look forward to returning as a guest speaker in the future!
