I was in Philhaven in spring 2023. I was so depressed and anxious before going in that I couldn't function and was rapidly losing weight, couldn't get out of bed. I'm grateful for my time in Philhaven, getting medications and coping skills to cope. The staff and everything was amazing. I'm also thankful for the psychiatrist Dr. Khan who gave me a mental health diagnosis that actually made sense. I can't believe I went my whole life without someone diagnosing me properly and I'm so glad Dr. Khan was able to. I am now able to handle my life and mental health. Thank you!

Our daughter ( 21 yrs old) spent 3 weeks at Philhaven.
She was kept safe and was at a much better place emotionally upon her release. Thank you to her therapists and Dr who was willing to make a “medicine switch for the better. Also the activities were helpful.
One thing we really appreciated was the phone calls she was allowed to make all day long and we could call in to talk with her any time. We spent a lot of quality time on the phone with her, it was a lifeline for her. I’m sure it’s not convenient for the staff to always have all these calls coming in and going out all day until late in the evening.
I say “ Thank you” for allowing us that phone time and for providing for our daughters daily needs while she was there.

I felt compelled to write this review because of the wonderful care my 88 years old father has received. The respect, kindness and concern displayed by every one of the Doctors, nurses and personnel we have encountered is absolutely amazing. While they are too numerous to mention, I particularly wanted to give special gratitude to our home care nurse, Vinnie…my father just adores her and she is amazing. I also wanted to express my appreciation to Lorett, who tended to my father’s wounds yesterday. Lorett was incredible and so kind. Likewise were the doctor, Rachel and the staff in the emergency area.
In closing, I want to state that this VA hospital and all associated medical providers and staff should be recognized for its/their high degree of standard, but more importantly for the compassion and respect displayed to our Veterans. Thank you and happy holidays.

Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another.
The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly.
My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion.
This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones.
Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us.
One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that.

The AMAZING staff at the Caron Foundation facility in Del Ray Beach truly saved my sons life. As of tomorrow, he will have been sober for one full year!! The treatment at Caron surpassed all of his and my expectations. He had been in several rehabs over many years, and they would assist in helping him to get sober but after 15 to 30 days, out he went. The reasons for his continued addiction was never addressed. At Caron, the program they offer is life changing. Not only did they help get him sober but FINALLY the reasons behind the addiction were brought out front and center. The staff's ability to guide and push when needed to help get at the root of the origin of his addiction was our answer. We know he will struggle each day but going from where he was, on the street, homeless, to where he is now, brought him back to his family. We truly went years not having the knowledge to help. The staff at Caron , not only helped my son , but helped me. We went to visit him a few times while he was in treatment and the staff were beyond accommodating, along with their kindness and compassion for what they do, with each patient. As a service-connected disabled veteran that has been in the VA system 1994, I love being able to receive my primary care closer to home. For years I went to the Lebanon VAMC for ALL my healthcare needs and the drive alone made it inconvenient. Let alone the constant construction and parking lot mess. The care at Lebanon VAMC is wonderful but the facility is big and busy so the much closer Lancaster VA at Willow Street is a godsend for me. The front desk, lab, nurses and my PCP are incredible. Very clean office, very quiet peaceful office and generally there is plenty of nearby parking, unlike Lebanon VAMC.

I called an ambulance because I had a viral reading of 58/27 pulse 41. I blacked out at home while laying down before the ambulance got to me. I got to the hospital and they only measured my vitals one time. If someone comes in with hypotension or hypertension and report they passed out or blacked out procedure is to continue to monitor vitals but instead they only checked blood pressure and pulse one time. I was misdiagnosed as dehydrated even though all of my labs were "normal" as what the doctor said I'm the notes on mychart. Even though none of my labs showed I was dehydrated, the doctor thought it would be a good idea to misdiagnos me instead of looking at the test results which show that I'm not dehydrated.

I came through here 2 times and am almost 3 yrs clean. I've had my ups and downs, multiple rehabs, multiple rehab relationships, etc. This was a male only rehab and that's what I needed. I could complain about some things but the goal was to stay clean and I didn't wanna die from an overdose. My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. Also the nurse Pam and I had an amazing relationship, we spent hours talking and she helped me so much. I want to thank Conewago Place for bringing my soul back.

This place literally saved my life, and for that I won’t go to any other hospital. I’ve been admitted several times and the staff is always professional and super nice. The emergency department can get super busy and wait times can get a little long if you’re not there for a life threatening emergency, but anyone who’s spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital knows it isn’t the hospital’s fault.

I was a client At this drug and alcohol center and I honestly wouldn't have made it through without the nurse manager Rachel, she went above and beyond for me more than I ever expected, and honestly more than I saw her do for any of the other clients .when I was about to get kicked out she didn't just stand by she stood up for me defending me and did everything she could to keep me there .when staying wasn't an option anymore she even offered me a place to sleep on her own couch until I could get into another treatment center that's not something you see everyday and I'll never forget it she didn't just treat me like another client she saw me as a man as someone who was special, and I will always be grateful for what she did And has offered me.

Tech staff Zack is the best. He understands the addict shares his experiences giving others hope that they also can get clean n sober. I've been treated at this location for 4 years with multiple therapists and have always had a good experience.
In regards to common complaints of it being "money hungry" this is the American healthcare system at it's finest. I also have Medicaid, so I've never had an issue with insurance or payments. I know when my partner wanted to start being seen even though their insurance was accepted it was not fully covered and it was costing $70 out of pocket. However, this is a common issue overall due to the American healthcare system. Once insurance began to cover costs they received a refund check for being over charged. My therapist also helped with resources to get them paying next to nothing to get back into therapy after being discharged due to not being able to afford it. With the therapist's help and resources they can now attend again, afford it, and got help getting accepted with state insurance.
The receptionists have always been nice and friendly. Every therapist I've seen I've had a good experience with. One complaint I have is the high rate of staff leaving abruptly. Twice the therapist I was seeing left the company and I had to get transferred to a new counselor. This is completely due to their personal choices. I got transferred right away too.
I began seeing the psychiatrist which was easy to get an appointment with help from my therapist at the time. She got me seen and evaluated and I began to see her for med management. It was a positive and quick experience and greatly helped me mentally and physically on my journey.
I hope that everyone can find the support and help they need. Whether here or at another facility. I will be continuing to go to PA counseling services.

I started therapy at a time when I was overwhelmed with anxiety, stress, and constant overthinking. I am so grateful I took that step because working with Christian has been life changing. He patient and he genuinely listens. Each session made me feel seen and supported, and gave me the tools to navigate difficult moments with more clarity and peace.
The entire team here is wonderful. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. I actually looked forward to seeing them. I still remember my very first appointment, it was in the evening and one of the ladies walked me out and waited to make sure I got safely into my car. That simple gesture meant a lot. Every visit felt peaceful and safe, and I always felt cared for.

I went to Project Transitions and I loved it. I feel that they helped me with leaning new coping skills to help me with life as well as life skills. They also helped me with developing a support system . They assisted me in getting to appointments and lent an ear when I needed to talk. The doctor Laura is a good doctor that works with another great doctor from the haven behavioral health.
