Its been 15 years since I've attended a co dependent workshop. There was experiential therapy as well as psycho dramas.I was astounded at the level of expertise and compassion by our counselor.I literally have been on such a wonderful journey, even when it was brutal, since my short stay there. My trauma and PTSD from my childhood was addressed substaintially.Forever grateful.

(This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings. I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up. I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

I attended the Mommy & Me program here, and let me start by saying: if it wasn’t for my three-month stay, I wouldn’t have my son right now, and I wouldn’t be sober and thriving. This place truly was a life-changing experience. The house is run like a community of moms and children living together, and the staff treats you like family rather than just a patient. They are also incredibly helpful if you are working to regain custody of children in foster care. However, you should go in with a realistic mindset. You are living with a group of women from all different areas of the state, so there will be drama occasionally. My advice: stay focused on yourself and what you are there for, and you will be fine. I also feel it’s important to mention that while the program is amazing, there are some areas for improvement. I felt like some of the counselors and RSPs (Resident Support Professionals) could be better focused on their individual clients. Additionally, it can sometimes feel like you can’t voice an opinion or a concern about the staff without being lectured about it later in a group setting. Despite those frustrations, the core of this program is life-saving. If you stay focused on your recovery and your child, this place can give you a second chance at life.

My 4yr old daughter and myself lived in fountain springs for 6months and I truly believe that without the lady's who run the facility i would have lost my daughter to cys. I'm 7yrs clean today and I still feel like fountain springs saved us. while we lived there my daughter had surgery to remove her tonsils and adnoids at potsville hospital and I was allowed to stay there with her and had special accommodations for a few days after.

My overall experience with Gaundenzia Fountian Springs was good, the Program help me obtain and maintain sobriety while learning about addiction and taking parenting workshops. This women's or Mommy&me program also helped me regain full custody of my 2 children because I worked the Program by putting my all into it, they put their all into helping me fight for my children back. I loved most of the counselors most of the time LOL. But it was a life changing experience that help me take control back of my life to create a better future for myself and my kids. There is also a women's and mommy&me soberliving housing program connected in the back called Gaundenzia New Destiny which bridges the gap after one completes the rehab. Very few programs that help families like this.... I wish there were more to help others who need and want it

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery. The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles. The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership. The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

I was a client At this drug and alcohol center and I honestly wouldn't have made it through without the nurse manager Rachel, she went above and beyond for me more than I ever expected, and honestly more than I saw her do for any of the other clients .when I was about to get kicked out she didn't just stand by she stood up for me defending me and did everything she could to keep me there .when staying wasn't an option anymore she even offered me a place to sleep on her own couch until I could get into another treatment center that's not something you see everyday and I'll never forget it she didn't just treat me like another client she saw me as a man as someone who was special, and I will always be grateful for what she did And has offered me.

The reason for a one star deduction is: The only issue I have is that I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user and the entrances are listed as being wheelchair accessible. For me personally, they are not accessible and I need the help of someone else in order to get through them as I have issues with my hands which affect me being able to open the doors. The main building entrance doors and the door to their office do not have the wheelchair push buttons on them to open and close the doors,. Also, how the main building doors open make it hard to fit and I have to worry about one of the doors hitting my chair. So, I have to move over for the door to close and then go through the next door. The reason I like going here: I had a hard time finding a therapist who I felt safe, supported, and helped me. I really like the therapist I have here, she gives me resources and homework which I feel has been beneficial in a lot of ways. I feel like I'm learning better strategies for my issues and actually seeing growth from the time before coming here to now.

You can find Pennsylvania Counseling Services in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. They offer addiction treatment and mental health services, including programs for co-occurring conditions such as PTSD or depression. They offer counseling in various formats which include individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, marriage therapy and family therapy.
I have read the reviews and I must say i have to completely disagree. I have been going to PA counseling services for 2 years now and I have to say when I first began going I didn't believe therapy was going to work for me but then I met my therapist Andre Ramirez and he truly made a huge impact in my life. I was completely gone, suicide was everything on my mind, I was at my lowest and today I am extremely happy with the woman I have become and continue to grow into. Therapy works if you allow it to work as far as scheduling my therapist and I have a good patient and therapist relationship so I just call in and enter his ext number and he and I work out scheduling so im not sure why so many negative reviews because I don't have one bad thing to say to God be the glory 🙏🏽

I have been going here for almost 2 years. I have never had an issue with rescheduling an appointment, and even when I missed one, I was able to continue to see my therapist with no issues. I did have to change the therapist due to insurance changes but got matched with a great new one and continue to see them. This is the first time I have felt that my therapist really listens to me and repects the fact that i dont want medication. They listened to that and came up with a treatment plan that helps without medication. It's hard, but with it.

I would like to take the time to give a review. My children have been with therapist Abby for quite some time. Abby is kind and caring. She listens to me and my children and always speaks with such respect. We are not just a number at PC. We are treated like family. We have been to other agency counseling services and NONE of them matched the care we received from Abby. Recently my adult son asked for Abby contact information so he could request her in his journey. Abby made such an impact on him in his youth that he remembered that and wanted her at this point in his life too! That says so much about Abby and the impact she is making on those she serves. I don’t know how my family would have navigated life’s struggles without her help, listening ears, kind heart, understanding and compassion. When you are in great need you need a great therapist. We found that in Abby! So thank you to PC and more importantly-Abby! I don’t know what we would have done without her guidance. Thank you Abby from the bottom of my heart!

I had a wonderful experience with the parenting service for pregnant women at this location. I specifically want to mention Kathy, who I worked with throughout the program. She is such an incredible person who truly goes above and beyond for the people on her caseload. She doesn’t just help with parenting; she helps with life. When I lost my ID, she actually helped me get it replaced and the program even paid for it. She made such a positive impact on my journey that I actually miss seeing her for our monthly visits! The facility itself is a secured location, which provided a lot of peace of mind. No one is able to enter the building without ringing the bell to be let in by staff, making it feel very safe and private. If you are a pregnant woman in the Pottsville area looking for support, I highly recommend this service—especially if you get the chance to work with Kathy!

I just moved from NJ to Ephrata and had to go to the emergency room and then to the PCU unit. The care I received went above and beyond great patient services, from the nurse's, tech's and doctors. Thank you so much for treating me with such professionalism and kindness!

We have been here numerous times over the years with good experiences. This past Wednesday I had a heart attack. They got me in and installed a stint to correct the 100% blockage with extremely limited damage to my heart. I had 3 nurses and all 3 were the best ever. There is nothing they could have done better.

The atmosphere here is very comfortable. The counselors are also very easy to talk to. Many people who attended with me had legal issues as well, and this place was more then willing to work with them on their issues. This location is easy to find and has both of street parking and free parking out back. It is easy to notice from the street.
