I’ve never been admitted here, but professionally had different encounters with individuals in need and this place really provides a lot of support for the mh population. It takes a ton of love and determination to be at this place 8 hours every day. The staff is super professional and empathetic. I love this place

I haven't personally been here but my daughter Shayn was here for about a year. They helped her A LOT so I am very thankful for them. Thank you for helping me get my BEAUTIFUL AMAZING WONDERFUL daughter back! I love her more than words can say!!!

What are complete trash and fake place that claims they help people they don't help anybody they hurt people! They really fail to do their job like you can call and they say they will deliver a message to get their 10 minutes later we never got a message nobody called but I got the phone info and you're denying to question your employees because they're lying so you're defending liars. Yep time to have y'all shut down

I would not recommend Mikaila. I struggle very badly with depression/anxiety/PTSD. The way I was made to feel during my last visit was uncalled for. I’ve never felt so unseen and unheard in my life. The annoyance she showed towards me was actually very upsetting. Needless to say, I did not return.

The place is always clean and all of the people that work there are always so nice weather on the phone or in person.I feel so comfortable with my doctor and would recommend the service they provide for anyone who feels like they are alone or need someone for guidance in their life.

May be pulling my daughter from care... the psychiatrist hasn't even talked with her 1 time and is questioning her autism diagnosis from a certified neuropychologist.... then telling her intensive therapist 1 thing and me another I'm highly upset with this.

Worst experience ever with Doctor Reyes he's very unprofessional and loose of control.

I went to Project Transitions and I loved it. I feel that they helped me with leaning new coping skills to help me with life as well as life skills. They also helped me with developing a support system . They assisted me in getting to appointments and lent an ear when I needed to talk. The doctor Laura is a good doctor that works with another great doctor from the haven behavioral health. They are very understanding to meet your needs and help you succeed in life and to tranositipn to your own home or to your next step of care . I loved it there and would recommend it and go back

This program serves a purpose. I came from a 4 year stay to the program and they showed me much patience until they were forced by insurance to boot me. They helped me find a place quickly and even gave me a ride there. This program is necessary.

I was there as a kid and it was a good place. Helped me with alot. The farm was the best part. I had charge of a goat named horney that had anger issues as bad as mine but I was the only one that was able to work with it.

My grandson went here to work on his anger. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, but like most RTFs and inpatient hospitals, it has flaws. The cafeteria is comprised of unhealthy foods, which is bad for kids with ADD

Just came back from there I was there last night and again today for my asthma doctors who was not even my doctors help me at least like 5 or 6 people in the room felt like I was gone die but very good caring and nice people

Went to Sunrise Cherry Hill about 5 months ago and it was my first stay in a detox center so I was understandably nervous and not sure of what to expect. The staff were all kind, attentive and supportive & I have been sober from alcohol for almost 6 months! The food was delicious and we had access to snacks/drinks 24 hours a day (including freshly made soups, different flavored juices which I liked making "mocktails" with). I appreciated that they let you rest & sleep as much as you'd like while still checking in on you as the first few days of sobriety are the hardest and most uncomfortable but they definitely do what they can to ensure it's as smooth as possible. There were a couple instances that put a bit of a damper on my experience ; I had seen a few different counselors during my 5 days there and I came across 1 that was a bit condescending overall and pushy about AA despite me telling him I wasn't interested in AA and already had a post-detox plan figured out with my therapist outside of the center. I know they need to push some patients a little bit in order to ensure they get the best help possible but I felt like the more I communicated that I had control over my journey and politely declined their offers for help getting into a rehab facility or other similar programs, the less they actually listened to me. I will say that I feel this is kind of an issue I have with the over arching journey of sobriety and programs like this as a whole and not necessarily unique to Sunrise so take it with a grain of salt. I also had my journal taken upon admission which is fine as I knew they looked through your belongings prior to intake and understood there would potentially be something I brought and couldn't have. But I wasn't told it was taken so for a few days, I thought I had just forgotten to bring it. I wasn't sure why they even took it until I asked one of the staff members. She informed me it's because they noticed one of my entries was about su*cde; therefore they were keeping an extra eye on me to ensure I didn't harm myself (I appreciate the sentiment overall but the entry itself wasn't me expressing intent to hurt myself or others but was rater talking about su*cide in general and how I had ideations in the past but did NOT currently as it was something that came up in therapy). Because of this, they were also going to keep me an extra 2 days despite me taking the program very seriously and doing extremely well with it & being ready to leave when the 5 days was up. My biggest issue with this was them not addressing it with me especially as it was affecting my discharge date which I had scheduled work and other things around. It also made me weary to be honest about any struggles I may be having for fear of it being used against me. Also good to note, you need to purchase a phone card in order to make outside calls to friends/family so make sure you bring cash! (they also have cigarettes and extra snacks/drinks you can purchase too so it's a good idea to bring some cash in general). Overall I would highly recommend this facility to others and would definitely use it again if needed.

Today, I dropped off a patient in severe distress from prolonged drug use for detox. When the patient was walked in for admission, I notified the person working the front desk that the patient was attempting to sneak cocaine in and alerted them as to where the cocaine was located. This information was RELAYED TO THE PATIENT (“we’ve been alerted that you are attempting to bring drugs into the facility”) and as a result the patient fled the facility and is currently not responding to texts or phone calls. As the former operations supervisor of a detox/residential facility, I find that course of action to be laughably irresponsible and frankly moronic - strip search the patient as per facility protocol and “find” the drugs during the search ! To the director I spoke with on the phone - all the degrees in the world will not teach you common sense or street smarts, and you very clearly lack these things.

Oh my gosh, I missed this place so much! My sister and I were part of Kidspeace for a whole year. I really appreciate all the staff who helped us out—Karen, Olga, Maria, and that psychologist I can’t remember her name, but she was always Giving us pizza after therapy! 💓

Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night. If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it. 10/10
