Been here twice if I'm honest. I can't recommend NFA enough. Sober since 6/10/25, the program works if you actually WANT to get better. The staff are nice, the food is good, the living situation does require patience but overall it is good. You will be accepted into a community and your case manager will help you out with resources. As long as you follow the rules (which isn't hard at all) you will get along fine here and even then you really have to go out of your way to get kicked out.

Place has amazing people here and is run very well. Still has room to improve for 1 on 1 counseling. Most counseling is done in a group so your personal endeavors and info is aired out most of the time. However this place will proved a place to heal and detox extremely comfortably if needed. Bed pillows are plastic covered so bring a pillow and blanket to be more at home.

I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was treated with genuine kindness and respect. What really sets this recovery center apart is the staff. They don’t make you feel like just another client. They make you feel like you’re one of their friends. Every conversation felt real, and it was obvious they truly cared about my well-being, both inside and outside of treatment. The staff created an environment where I felt comfortable opening up without fear of being judged. They were always there to listen, offer encouragement, and celebrate every step of progress, no matter how small. Their compassion, patience, and sense of humor made some of the hardest days much easier to get through. Recovery has never been easy, but having people who genuinely believe in you makes all the difference. The friendships and support I found here gave me hope when I needed it most. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like a person—not just a patient I can’t recommend this recovery center enough. The staff go above and beyond every single day, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they did for me. I will never take my time here for granted.

I'm over 5 years sober now and I've been working in the Substance Use Disorder field for over 3 years now. I'm actually creating an updated resource sheet, which is why I ended up on here haha. But I figured while Im here, I should post a review about my own experience. I went to Granite House back around 2020. My experience was great, I definitely had some ups and downs however the downs were 100% self induced. Although the staff and the group of people I was within were all incredible- I just wasn't ready yet at that time. I went to about half a dozen treatment programs throughout my addiction, but to this day I tell people "if you have medicaid and you're looking to go to rehab in NH - Granite House the best place to go." It is my first choice for referral out of all the treatment centers in the state! Its obviously been a while since I was there, 7 years or so, but I have had clients tell me about their recent experiences and they all say the same thing " Its like a big family. " I couldn't agree more! Thank you Granite House for your continued dedication to those who are in need of a safe, caring and trustworthy treatment center during their most vulnerable days. New Hampshire has lost a lot of good, helpful, and solid places over the past several years but to see you still standing and providing people with treatment is truly deeply appreciated!!! * If you're reading this - and are trying to figure out if this is the right choice... as someone who statistically was not supposed to and never should have made it out... my advice is ; Ask yourself what do you have to loose by trying? By showing up and giving yourself the chance? Compared to ... if you stay..? And don't even give it a try? We do recover - It takes time and its not easy - but nothing in life worth having, ever comes easy! You are more than worth it, so take the chance 🫶

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. And at the end of the day, you just continue to reach for the stars and never give up! Thank You again, New Season Patient

There is no program out there that has guaranteed results. But, I've known multiple people who have had their lives transformed by attending Teen Challenge Manchester. The staff here navigate the complexities of recovery with wisdom and love. I personally have received phone calls from staff about one of my family members who was no longer in the program; because they were concerned for him. I've witnessed staff steer family ministry meetings with gentle courage as they challenged the deception and darkness of addiction. Above all, the program recognizes that true recovery comes with faith in God and longevity; 30/90 days are not enough. I’m thankful for what they’ve done to help people I love. I highly recommend this facility.

Are you searching for a place where you can get your life back on track following addiction? Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire, located in Manchester, is a place where miracles can happen in your life, where their residence program can replace an empty soul without hope or purpose with direction and the love of the Lord! We saw, first-hand, the work of Adult & Teen Challenge! A dear loved one enrolled in their program, a broken young man who spent 10 years going in and out of prison for taking and dealing drugs. Through Adult & Teen Challenge NH’s structured program of graduated phases, he was taught how to live without dependency on drugs, of the reality of Jesus Christ and of how the Lord can completely transform a life. This young man’s empty soul became filled with love and forgiveness. He became a new person - the manifestation of a miracle in his life. A Bible verse that makes us think of Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire is this: “Therefore if anyone is a new creation, the old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.” II Corinthians 5:17 If you or someone you know, needs a fresh start…a new direction, then Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire is the place to begin your miraculous transformation. Even if you aren’t interested in things of God – this is the place you or your loved one needs to be!!!

I’ve been on MAT for approximately 12 years now. Ive moved and had to switch clinics multiple times over that period and can easily say that they all have their positives and negatives to them. I’ve found that most of the negatives only feel that way because as addicts we are typically resistant to big changes in the way we have to live whether it be getting up early in the day, Keeping required counseling appointments or group attendance where it should be (100% me. Sorry ctc 😅), or not being able to infinately increase our dose at an unchecked speed. I can 100% say that Manchester CTC has an amazing staff. My favorite of any clinic I’ve been a patient to. I havent met anybody here that would not move mountains to help us whenever humanly possible. My case worker kim spent months with me last year helping me to find and sign up for an impatient program that fit my specific needs and never once got impatient or frustrated when I pushed it out further and further to avoid going. I also recently have been lucky enough to meet the director here named amy. This woman is a godsend!! I live about 30 minutes from CTC and my insurance had cancelled my medical rides temporarily waiting on paperwork that could not be filled out in time and amy reached out to me and has ordered me uber rides to the clinic and back home twice now while waiting for this situation to be fixed. Also went out of her way to find a solution for my paperwork just to make sure that i would be able to keep coming to the clinic and stay healthy. From the security guard outside, the women at the front dest, nursing staff, to the farthest hidden counselors office In the back of CTC Ive only ever come across people that genuinely want to help you as much as possible and are always happy / polite / encouraging. I strongly recommend CTC for anybody looking for help. Thanks for everything CTC you guys are the best 💯

I’ve been at the clinic for a year and a half now with Beth as my counselor and I have nothing but good things to say they actually care about us and don’t just raise our dose to make us happy like other clinics do.

My wife was patient here for over a month. She was hit by another patient which concerned me and I wanted to press charges. I was calling the main number to get more information and nobody answers. This was concerning. I finally got someone and they said they could not conform or deny my wife was there. Took my number and hung up. The supervisor Lauri called me back and explained what happened to me. She apologized profusely. Her willingness to spend time on the phone with me late at night and offered for me to come to the facility to see my wife past visiting hours reassured me. I spent over 1 hour on the phone and spoke to my wife and I didn't need to come so late at night. My wife told me Lauir stayed outside of her room for hours to ensure she was safe, and could sleep. Security stayed there also. I came to visit my wife and was able to meet with her. I think it's risk to stay in psych wards, but staff are trained and respond in the best manner. During visit, a male patient pushed Lauri and other staff. Lauri and phung came back to ensure we wanted to resume visit and felt safe. The worst possible circumstances, but still felt my wife was protected and staff were available to intervene. If my wife needs help again I would feel good sending her here. Ask for supervisor Lauiri if you ever need help.

I have had a few experiences with the staff and facility. I’d like to say that Mark Stern and Mariana were an absolute pleasure to work with to help and advocate for the care of patients. Not only do they genuinely care for their people but also give ample resources for when you leave the facility. I would send my family here and that actually means something and say something about the staff.
