Hi my name is Tamara and I want to share that Graceland Recovery was a blessing in my life. The staff there supported my Recovery and gave me the skills to succeed in being clean and sober. I am a grateful recovering addict that had reached out to them in pure desperation after suffering for 25 years in addiction and feeling hopeless. They are one of the main reasons today that I can live my best life. I am 9 months clean now and I thank them and God for my success. They will always be family to me.

If you’re scrolling and feeling stuck, just like I was, take a breath and keep reading.I found RecoveryPath Helpline when everything felt like it was crashing. I didn’t know what I needed — I just knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing. I called them thinking I’d get some automated voice or someone cold on the other end. But instead… I got a real person. Calm. Kind. They actually listened. They didn’t throw a bunch of medical terms at me or make me feel small. They asked me simple stuff like, “How are you feeling right now?” and “What do you need today?” No pressure, no judgment. Just support. They stayed on the line while I cried. Helped me find a detox center nearby. Even followed up later to see how I was holding up. That meant something. This helpline isn’t just a number. It’s a lifeline. If you’re scared to reach out, I get it. But trust me — they’ll meet you where you are. No shame. Just help. Call ‘em. Don’t wait till it gets worse. You’re not alone, even if it feels like it. RecoveryPath helped me believe that again. Maybe it can do the same for you. 💙

RecoveryPath Helpline came through when I was at rock bottom and had no clue what to do next. I called in the middle of the night thinking I’d get voicemail or some automated stuff — but a real person picked up, calm and patient, like they actually cared. They didn’t rush me, just talked me through it and helped me breathe. Within an hour, they had me lined up with the right detox center and support I could afford. That one call flipped everything. I didn’t feel alone anymore — they had my back when it mattered most.

I am KaNiya White, and I consider myself a proud Compass veteran. I attended Compass PHP five times between the ages of 14 and 18 between 2021 and 2025. Compass truly helped shape who I am today. I often say I grew up there because many staff members knew me across multiple admissions and continued to support me. At times, it genuinely felt like a second family.
PHP is not perfect. The days are long, there is limited outdoor time, frequent peer conflict, and you spend much of the day in the same spot. You are often expected to ignore peers who intentionally provoke you, group punishments can feel unfair, and the schoolwork is very basic, which can leave you behind academically. There were also a few staff members who were unprofessional at times, though they were NOT the majority.
What mattered most was the support. Many staff members were a genuine shoulder to cry on during some of the hardest moments of my life. I've had deep, life changing one on one conversations with staff who truly cared about me as a person. I trusted them deeply and they know things about me that even my parents do not. I genuinely do not think I would be alive today without the help I received at Compass.
I want to recognize staff who played an important role in my life. Mrs. Khalia, Nurse Nayla, Nurse Shylo, Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Loreda, Mrs. T, Mr. Travis, Mr. Zach, Mrs. V, Mrs. Tatianna, Mrs. Holloway, Mrs. Debra, Mr. Michael, Mrs. Katelyn, Nurse Connie, Mrs. Braden, Mrs. Kendra, Mrs. Kurshi, Mrs. Tamika, and Mrs. Trenika. Some no longer work there, but they deserve recognition for the impact they had on me.
My therapist, Mr. Zach, had the greatest impact. He never gave up on me, pushed me out of my comfort zone in a healthy way, and helped me find my voice. He challenged me when I needed it and supported me when things were hard. He was the best therapist I have ever had.
Despite its flaws, PHP also had meaningful positives. Step aways to talk privately with staff, process groups which were my favorite, the reward and Victory Bucks system, occasional art activities for victory members, and respect for preferred names and pronouns.
When I first came to Compass at 14, I was shy, withdrawn, and unsure of myself. When I left for the final time at 18, I had confidence, stronger coping skills, motivation to live, and had worked through my trauma. Compass inspired me to pursue psychology. I am now in college majoring in Psychology and working toward becoming an LPC, and I hope one day to give back the way Compass once gave to me by being an intern there somehow.
Overall, I am grateful for my time at Compass and for how much I grew there.

My Name is Nathan Martin I went to lakeside for Detox from alcohol. I want to say that it was a adventure alot of the techs and nurses like Stacy,Pat,Mark, Rob,Karen was amazing they were attentive and helpful and also caring and instructing on my sobriety and how to take the steps I need to stay on my journey. The Director Tommy is a great person who cares about his job as a provider of a detox wing and patients and their future sobriety. He is very instructing and also does daily checks as he walks through to say hello and how is things today. The only issue I had was with one nurse who honestly need to go back and realize why she works at lakeside in the Detox side and also check her oath that she took as a RN as she stated she had. Although I will not bash her on hear due to this isn't the place but I would ask that lakeside monitor her when she is on shift she doesn't care for the patients as she should. I highly recommend HEC. I see Jaimie for EMDR and CBT therapy biweekly. She is among the best therapists I have ever had. She is great at putting things into a new perspective and giving me extremely useful tools and coping strategies. I trust her completely and cannot sing her praises enough. The rest of the staff is very friendly and warm as well.

Germantown, TN | Located in Germantown, Tennessee, Daybreak Treatment Center is a mental health and alcohol and drug rehab center that specializes in evidence-based treatment. Outpatient services support clients in working through underlying conditions and issues that perpetuate their life challenges. Daybreak Treatment Center provides behavioral health treatment p | Treatments Payment Options | I am deeply grateful to Chelsea Bricker and the team at Daybreak for everything they did for my family. Chelsea is a genuine and skilled therapist who shows how much she really cares about her clients. DBT is most effective with the kind of structure that Daybreak provides and the results we experienced reflect such. It is VERY hard to find good intensive mental health treatment in the area and we were not left wanting. I strongly recommend the center to anyone looking for these kinds of services for their kid.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Daybreak. The facility and staff are warm and inviting. They take the entire family under their wing and truly collaborate with all involved during the child's time there. We never felt confused, uncertain, or "in the dark" with our child's progression through the program. After a particularly traumatizing inpatient experience, we immediately felt at ease with Ms. Susie during our very detailed intake assessment. This feeling of ease continued with any staff we came in contact with throughout our child's time there, as we met regularly (weekly) with our child's therapist and psychiatrist. The option for patients to continue with regular outpatient group therapy once they've completed the partial hospitalization program (as they return to the "real world") provides extra support during that transition and helped us feel more comfortable with that transition as well. I am especially grateful for the gentle and caring way they held our child accountable and encouraged our child to take an active role in their mental health, treatment, and therapy. Our time at Daybreak improved the way we communicate and care for each other as a family, and I will be forever grateful for everything the people here did for us. The best way to wrap up how we feel about Daybreak is a direct quote from our child: "I love that place."
