Maple Mountain Recovery in Utah completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, their team created a highly personalized treatment plan tailored just for me—every session felt tailored to my needs. What really sets them apart is the way they seamlessly blend healing with genuine care and enjoyable experiences. Between therapy sessions, I had options like yoga, cold plunges in nature, art therapy, acupuncture, and many therapeutic adventures. It felt like real recovery, not just treatment. The staff is amazingly attentive—every single team member knew my name, remembered my goals, and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. They made sure I felt supported 100% of the time and built an environment that was both professional and warm. If you’re looking for a recovery center that cares deeply, customizes your journey, and injects a dose of fun and relaxation into the process—Maple Mountain Recovery is it. Highly recommend!

This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days. The professional staff, attention to detail, intense therapy, and process groups all helped in my transformation on my road in recovery. They also included my family in the process, because this is a family dis-ease… I highly recommend Cirque…if you seriously want to stop drinking or drugging, are willing to be openminded, honest, and willing…this is the place for you. New Haven offers residential treatments for teenage girls struggling with anxiety, stress, substance abuse or eating disorders in a home-like atmosphere. New Haven is located at Spanish Fork, Utah. Sending my daughter to a residential treatment center was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as a parent, and I was incredibly apprehensive at first. However, our experience with New Haven’s Stabilization & Assessment Program far exceeded every expectation I had. I am genuinely grateful for the level of care, support, and communication we received from day one. The clinical director and my daughter’s therapist, Cassi, was truly exceptional. Cassi built trust with my daughter in a way I had not seen before, and knowing that my daughter felt safe going to her with anything meant everything to me. The clinical leadership made sure I understood every step of the process, and they took my concerns seriously from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine investment in my daughter’s well-being stood out immediately. The nursing staff was just as incredible. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her safety, monitor her needs, and communicate with me about even the smallest changes or questions. There was never a moment when I felt out of the loop. Whether it was a medical update or a quick check-in, their communication was consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. I could always reach someone when I needed to, and I never once felt like my daughter wasn’t in excellent hands. One of the biggest strengths of New Haven’s program is how thorough, individualized, and comprehensive their assessment process is. They provided the most detailed psychological evaluation my daughter has ever received, and for the first time, I truly felt like her experiences, symptoms, and struggles were understood with depth and accuracy. They paid attention to nuances that are so often overlooked by other providers, and those insights have already transformed how I support her at home. Despite some negative reviews in the past, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The program is thoughtfully designed, tailored to each child’s needs, and grounded in compassion and clinical expertise. I felt supported at every turn; not just my daughter, but me as a parent navigating an overwhelming situation. My daughter made meaningful progress during her three months there, and the foundation they helped her build is something she continues to benefit from today. I am sincerely grateful for the entire team at New Haven, and I would not hesitate to recommend this program to any family whose child needs this level of care. They truly changed our lives for the better.

The team of therapists, relational coaches, medical staff, and teachers was all needed to create a safety bubble around our teen while she experienced a real and present storm in her life requiring therapy (individual, group, & family therapy). After 12 months of school and therapy, she was able to actually complete high school early and has launched successfully into her college experience. Thankfully, New Haven offers aftercare options to make the transition bearable- it is a lot to transition from a safety bubble to college life. We appreciate the deep care from all the staff, including the cook and night staff, who all make themselves available to the kiddos when a listening ear is needed. The reason for 4 stars was because we would’ve like to see more daily physical activity included in the program for a healthy lifestyle. However, there were parent weekends to national parks and many outdoor opportunities. In summary, New Haven aims at making families whole and we were blessed to be one of those families.

My daughter spent a year at New Haven and it was an excellent experience for us and for her. If you are considering New Haven, you’re in a tough place and have been through a lot. We were there and made mistakes before finding New Haven. The team was excellent - especially her counselor (shout out to the amazing Amy). The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. We still stay in touch with multiple families that we met through the program. My daughter supported my writing this review which says everything. These are good people doing good work.

So I did the inpatient in Payton Utah as well as the day treatment (php) and the night classes (IOP) and I’m currently continuing in the aftercare program. I have been to quite a few treatment centers and Steps stands at the top of all. Their therapist and faculty genuinely care for their clients and tell them what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear. They know from personal experience the struggles of addiction and helped me break down some serious walls that allowed me to hear the messages needed for me to find a new and much happier way of living. Today I am so grateful that I was able to get into step and would recommend it to anyone who is ready to take suggestions and do the work. How freeing it has been for me.

Before coming to I AM Recovery you'd find me at 711 right before 7am to get beers and then meth, getting a false sense of confidence, hope, and reality. I was unable to manage my life alone. I was in tears most days 😭 not wanting live, not wanting to exist. I was lost... My dad's death just fed into my behaviors. When I wasn't trying to survive I was locked up in a cell and That had been my life since I was 13. Gangs, jail cells, homeless deals, and mind altering substances. Anything and everything that could blind me to not see my own life... I ended up in Tooele County jail, I got a phone number and a guys name: TYSON... I called, not expecting an answer or any love from him, for my self worth was trash... so why would I think that anyone could show me any love. I had made too many mistakes to not think that. I had been to different treatment centers and felt it was all business. I was bitter and frustrated. When TYSON answered my collect call from jail. I became alert ⚠️ and doubtful. First of all, a lot of treatment centers don't take collect calls and expect you to have money on your books. How could I search and find peace when I needed a dollar. Tyson not only answered once but every time I doubted... I was confused, I couldn't believe it... I even apologized because I was calling him so much doubting that he cared or that he would come pick me up. Then he showed up. I was embarrased 😳 I'll never forget that day. Ever since I spoke to him from jail my life began to transform. When I got to Residential my alerts kicked in again. This is not real I thought... 😐 Boy was I wrong... Everyone at I AM understands and listens to your back story and helps you build a solid recovery... KEITH has shown me so much love and has gotten my head out the gutter many times. I was genuinely seen. I don't feel like another chicken getting fed to be later slaughtered... today all my tears are of appreciation to those who helped me see that I AM worth it. That I AM human. And that I AM loved with all my imperfections. They worked with me since day one. My therapist OLIVIA who I also doubted in the beginning is amazing 👏 she's helped me deal with past abandonment, depression, and sexual traumas to name a few. I've done EMDR with her and I'm able to smile and laugh today 😃 They've held my hand and guided me every step of the way. They've got staff that will challenge you to become the better you and see the you GOD sees... I came out of every recovery group feeling worked out and hopeful. to put a cherry on top there is a fully equipped gym and a nutritionist. Her name is JEAN and she is amazing! I go to Walmart and buy with confidence. I couldn't do this before. It was always the same junk food... Pizza and chips. There is also a man by the name of SHAY. He pissed me off when he touched my wounds. I didn't know that he saw my wounds and was trying help me heal them. My natural self was resisting. Why would anyone care. My old self didn't want to let go of anything... he challenged me many times and helped me see 👀 😌 NATHALIE'S groups are awesome too. I feel nurtured and she is very wise and knowledgeable. I can go on for days talking about everyone here 😌 Thank you TYSON for not ignoring my collect call... We grow together baby! 🫡❤️

I attended Provo Canyon School For Boys in 1977 for one year. Like John G, in the reviews, I too was on the wrong track. Jack the owner was a pompous jack ass but the school and for the most part the teachers and councilors were doing their best. Most graduates of BYU and Mormons. As a 16 year old with no clear idea of life and definitely any idea of what or how to move forward and be a productive person. The school taught me how to set goals and gave me the confidence to take control of my life and learn that I could be productive and enjoy life by developing self discipline and how important and rewarding life could and should be. Nothing is perfect and I had my reservations at times especially with Jack but I learned how to deal with it and by being in a structured environment I grew up and became a more productive and responsible adult. Thank you mom and dad for loving me and I am thankful for the opportunity of being privileged to go here and finding myself. I hope and pray other boys will have the same benefit I did. Provo taught me how to set goals and above all else, like myself and develop a positive self concept. Get the best from opportunities, you weren't doing anything else anyway. :)

I was at PCS in 1982-83. I was a troubled youth growing up in Chicago. I was 12 yrs old when I started going south with my life, substances, liquor, criminal activity and such. Did a stint in juvy for armed robbery and it just kept getting worse due to my choices in my life at that time. I have good parents and siblings but somehow I was just not making the grade in life. At 16 I was sent to PCS. Wasn't to thrilled about being locked up with a bunch of dudes from all over the country. Long story short, My grades went from F's to A's, the teachers there were great. The class sizes were much smaller than the public schools in Chicago, the teachers here gave a d##. My therapist even let me come into his home for Christmas once I got to the level 3&4 in the program. Staff took me out of there to hang out with them at BYU activities. So I learned that I was an ok young man, people did like me I wasn't as bad as I thought I was. I took my SAT,s there and got accepted at USU in Logan,UT. Point is it did stink alot of the time, I missed my family, but I learned self discipline and another (better) way of living. I'm still alive at 58 yrs old. If I didn't come here I would have died before I turned 18, either from violence, drugs or liquor. I look back now and I thank God for that part of my life.you get out of it what you put into it.

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal. Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing. Deer Hollow didn’t just help me manage my trauma; they helped me reclaim my life. I’m grateful every day that I made the decision to go.

I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. Give Deer Hollow a chance, The staff is top notch and they have been through similar stuff and achieved Victory. You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. Don’t believe the lie that you are telling yourself, “that I’m not hurting anyone else” there are people in your life that love you and want to help.

I feel very grateful for Brandon Morgan’s careful, and thoughtful treatment of me at a very fragile place in my life. He was very compassionate and present with me. Ha saw me…. That’s so important to be seen. And he saw me. He saw past other peoples assumptions of me, and confirmed where I was really at. I Gained so much more confidence because of his care filled treatment. On My third appointment with him I chose to have therapy as well as his help with medications. I’m just as pleased with the therapy as it was from the beginning with his compassionate ways. I would recommend Brandon to anyone who is struggling. Thank you, Brandon.

It was fast and easy to schedule a first appointment and my provider was professional and compassionate. This was probably my best and easiest experience scheduling an appointment with a mental health professional.

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life. They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support. Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! A life of healing and happiness I have never experienced before. I will be in eternal gratitude for this very sacred organization. Schedule a consult... you have nothing to lose and only a healthy and happy life to gain. You are not alone. There IS hope!

I was here for about 3 months, then was in sober living briefly, before going back out. Even though I relapsed, I have never seen a more personable and available and real group of people willing to help you. I put you guys through some SHIT. Especially you Tina. Lol. The therapists are good, but only human. Theyll crack you open good. The real question I suppose is was I better off having come here? Absolutely. But in the end I had to assess whether I was really doing what I wanted. I regret leaving. But I also needed to figure some things out for myself. I miss the community. And dont think they are in it for the money. They arent. They were willijg to pay for all my housing, keep me extra time, and let me stay even when there was no way I should have been able to. Thank you Mark, Todd, Kirk, Dee, CHRISTIAN, and Tina, and all of the therapists. Im currently in detox and really trying to get my life in order. Not out fear, but because I finally understand that my life is in my hands, and God wont drop me. Wasatch Strong! Come visit me for bagels anytime with codeword: “my name is daniel.”

Wasatch is worth every cent because of Todd he told me that I was recovered the day I stopped using drugs. He is one of the greatest minds the Recovery community has. I am writing this from a hyperbaric and still sober. I didn't stay the whole time but I got what I needed. As a veteran in the opiate epidemic and a 20+ time rehab connoisseur. I can say Todd one talk with him brought more healing and more recovery than hundreds of meetings, doing the 12 steps and thousand hours of treatment groups. Find your people. Be of service. Give back. Heal your body. Up north there's a hyperbaric and wellness in ogden ran by a beautiful women named Mel who is also phenomenal human. If you go there try the tesla coil. It is a phenomenal for balacing your energy. I truly believe addicts are healers and if we can conquer our addiction we can light . Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk

I began Deer Hollow’s outpatient program after completing residential treatment, and it became one of the most meaningful phases of my healing. Outpatient gave me the structure and support I still needed, while also allowing me to start rebuilding my life outside of treatment. The therapists at Deer Hollow are incredible. They understand trauma on a level I’ve never experienced before, and they know how to create a safe space where you can go deep without feeling overwhelmed or judged. The work we did — especially IFS and the group sessions — helped me continue unraveling the patterns and protective parts that had controlled so much of my life. What made outpatient so powerful for me was the combination of accountability, connection, and continued therapeutic intensity. I was able to practice real-world coping skills during the week and then bring what came up back into group and individual therapy. It felt like a bridge between treatment and everyday life, and it gave me confidence I didn’t have before. The community is also something special. Being surrounded by people who understand trauma, who get the ups and downs, and who are all working toward healing made me feel less alone. I built relationships there that still support me today. Deer Hollow’s outpatient program helped me solidify the progress I made in residential and gave me the tools to live with clarity, stability, and hope. I’m genuinely grateful for the care and compassion I received during this part of my journey.
