Acqua was the perfect start to my recovery journey! I had never been through treatment before and had no idea what to expect but It turned into the best decision I’ve ever made. The house and grounds are beautiful and they matched me with one of the best therapists I’ve had in the many years I’ve been in therapy. I can’t express how much this place has changed my life. Writing this review on behalf of a family member. Recovery Ways separates their clients between residential treatment for mental\psychiatric care (which is this facility), residential treatment for substance (part of the Brunswick facility), and partial hospitalization (PHP, which is the other part of the Brunswick facility). The family member that I'm writing participated in the residential treatment at this, the Copper Hills facility. Overall the staff was very good. There were some differences of personality or style with some staff members. The food was good overall. The schedule of sessions was okay. The "tribe" environment with the other clients varied. At first, they were very welcoming and collaborative. As individuals transitioned to PHP or elsewhere, new individuals arrived that weren't as friendly. I suppose that would happen anywhere. The weekly excursions were overall enjoyable. The option for FTR (Fitness to Recovery) twice a week was appreciated. The yoga time and other variations to regular sessions were enjoyed overall. If your loved one is struggling mentally\psychologically, a residential visit might be more beneficial than a psychiatric\behavioral hospital stay.

Springville, UT 84663
| Embark Behavioral Health - Canyon Road Springville in Springville, Utah, is an accredited residential treatment center for mental and behavioral health, based in the foothills of the stunning Wasatch Mountains, right in Hobble Creek Canyon. Support here is available to teen girls, nonbinary folk, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Flexible payment is availabl | Treatments Payment Options | I am extremely grateful for Embark. My daughter has been struggling for the past 5 years with her mental health, and the last year and a half has been extremely difficult for her. This led to her needing higher care to keep her safe. That transition alone was enough to rip our hearts out. To not be with her every day or comfort her while she was struggling, was unbearable for me as her Mother. As hard as it was for me though, it was even harder for her, which is what makes me so grateful for Embark. My daughter went there 2 days before Christmas and also missed her birthday with family, which was two weeks after. While it was extremely hard for us to find any joy in those occasions this year, Embark made it special for her. They did stockings for the girls and had so many fun activities. I always felt informed and had several contact numbers at Embark with direct lines to staff to be able to check on my daughter. They were also very accommodating and gave my daughter the respect to make choices for herself. They made special accommodations for her diet, schooling, and even sleeping arrangements when she was struggling. They never treated my daughter with unkindness and she said they were always really nice. Even when it came to my daughter expressing anger and saying she was going to run away, they respectfully accompanied her as she went for a walk until she decided to return. They informed me if the incident right away and told me that they didn't restrain her from her behaviors because she needs to have the ability to be able to function when she comes home without us keeping her safe. I love this about them because she ultimately had to make the right choices herself. As scary as it is to have your child away from home and in the care of others, I know that my daughter is in a much better place psychologically after having gone through their program. They do so many fun things in the program. While my daughter was there, they went to the rec center and library weekly, the movies, and also horseback riding. They frequently did Just Dance, ordered pizza, and had movie and popcorn nights, etc.Unless you are a parent who has a child that has gone through a mental health illness, you can't fathom the pain it causes, but knowing that she was treated with love and kindness and that they gave her an environment of happiness while we were apart, is the best I could have asked for.Thank you so much Embark!

Embark was a VERY long, confusing, sometimes stressful journey but it was all worth it, I also had A LOT of fun. First getting there seemed stressful especially because of drama, lots and lots of stupid high school drama, But staff attended to our wants and needs as much as they could. Very quickly I got into 1 on 1 and family therapy with my therapist but soon after (maybe 2-3 weeks) she quit and I had to restart with a whole new therapist, her name is Noelle:)) She is AMAZING and so slay! She is very welcoming and so good at her job especially when it comes to safety of others, myself, my family, etc. Embark puts all their love and might into our safety but can sometimes get blind sided. A big room for improvement for Embark is communication, other then the communication between staff and parents, that great! The communication between staff and students or staff and staff is . Other then that Embark was A LOT of fun, I entered on July 2nd and for the 4th of July they got bouncy castles with water slides and staff would bring their pets (mainly dogs but one of my favorite staff (Aaron) AKA (AA batteries) has a tortoise) :) They are constantly giving us a homey feel and staff will bring in treats every so often and tell us all about their family and open us with open arms whenever we need someone to talk to or give us advice and coping skills when needed. I do recommend this treatment for addiction (Self harm, drugs, alcohol, etc.) or any fears of your child being life being at risk. This program can be really easy or really hard and it can be long or short but it all depends on the client and if they take their treatment seriously! The therapist's are well trained and very caring. The schedule tended to change every few weeks and the groups ebbed and flowed with clients going in and out. Deer Hollow is a wonderful place. So many talented therapists are here! I had a wonderful experience in residential, it was tough and the most transformative experience of my life. Outpatient didn't seem to have the same level of intensive therapeutic approaches in the group setting, in comparison to residential. Outpatient was also more disorganized than residential. Group cohesion was something the therapists struggled to manage at times (in outpatient). Many conflicts in the group were left unresolved and continued to grow, despite individuals voicing how others were impacting them (using parts language, DBT DEAR MAN, etc.). While I'm sure everyone has the same/comparable training, outpatient didn't incorporate psychodrama as much as residential, nor did it do as deep work within IFS, which was unfortunate as I found the most positive transformation with psychodrama & IFS. Yes, there was a lot of psychoeducation regarding IFS in outpatient, but actual experiential exercises weren't as common from my experience. Also, there is a therapist in outpatient who has some tendencies that lean towards a God complex, and wanting to push people in a way that isn't trauma-informed. This was a part that I observed in this therapist's behaviors, which was really difficult to navigate as the client. This specific therapist isn't that way all of the time (that God complex part isn't always activated) but there were times that were heavily guided by their own desire to be of importance. I understand most people in helping professions have a helper part, but this part in this therapist was pretty extreme, I can see how it motivates the therapist to do better and continuously improve, but to a point where it occasionally leads to a lack of unconditional positive regard and places outcomes over the process. Again, this person isn't defined that part but it came up and impacted my treatment. I still think every therapist here is extremely talented, but I believe that feedback-informed treatment (FIT) should be considered when guiding treatment. I am not looking for a rationalization for these occurrences, I am just trying to voice my experience as there were moments in outpatient that were more harmful than helpful. But overall, my experiences at Deer Hollow were transformative and helpful for my healing. If someone is going to go, I highly recommend doing residential first as it was a completely different experience than outpatient, and residential offered so much more intensive healing work. I hope that my experiences are honored and respected, and that this is taken with the integration of the whole perspective with the good parts and the more challenging parts (within myself of course, but also within the organization as a whole). Sending lot of peace, compassion and gratitude, as I know for a fact I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for the healing I received at Deer Hollow.

Willow Tree Recovery offers dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol addiction treatment for individuals in Pleasant G | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I highly recommend Willow Tree Recovery. I went there on my near deathbed and received an immense amount of loving care. It played a massive role in saving my life.I was given the resources and knowledge to become and remain a sober and productive individual. The staff and therapist to client ratios are outstanding, of the four therapists they each have only 3-4 clients at max occupancy so you receive plenty of direct personal therapy on top of the process groups. The facility is well kept. There are only 16 residents max so there is ample opportunity to get to know your peers and build strong connections with them as well as the therapists and staff. There is a reason why this center is well known and highly respected across the country. If you or someone you care for is suffering, Willow Tree Recovery is the place for them.

My experience at Willow Tree was exceptional. From a clinical perspective, the program was outstanding, and the staff provided incredible care and support. The facility was clean, comfortable, and situated in a beautiful location, creating a welcoming and peaceful environment. I cannot imagine seeking treatment anywhere else and would highly recommend Willow Tree to anyone in need of their services. While I do not anticipate needing treatment again, if the need ever arose, I would undoubtedly return to Willow Tree.

Simply the best I have ever experienced. It is a three pronged element of structured recovery. with Inpatient, Sober Living, and IOP; that creates a safe space for clients at any level in their process. There are no gaps in how their format is set up.Amazing People, staff that actually care. I'm not a number or a profit here and they invest in you and your future and want your success and will do anything to help you reach those goals. The programming is top notch, the clinical director is SOLID and knows what she is doing, the therapists are compassionate and intelligent and each one seemingly has their own style and way of teaching that helped me in many different ways for personal growth and healing. They brought me to school individually to sort stuff out so I could apply and progress, met all my medical needs, doctor and orthodontist etc... church, family visits, etc.The facility and housing are clean, upscale, comfortable. The food us prepped fresh daily, the chef does an amazing job. They have fun activities and rec outings. Sober Softball is fun and they bring us at least 5 days a week to the rec center with a indoor outdoor pool and nice gym and basketball court. If you are contemplating going here; just do it. I have experience personally with several centers here and this one has been the best by far. They not only saved my life but Wasatch Recovery has helped me build a future. EC

Next Level Recovery stands out from traditional substance abuse programs by not only providing education and cessation strategies but also offering a unique experience. When you reach out in search of a sober living environment, you are greeted by Mike Brown himself, a compassionate individual who has played a pivotal role in my journey to recovery. I have had the privilege of residing in his sober living houses on two separate occasions, as well as participating in his intensive outpatient program.Mike Brown has proven to be more than just a supporter. Moreover, when I discovered I was pregnant, I reached out to Mike, and he swiftly arranged for me to move into one of his finest sober living houses within a few hours. His dedication to my well-being is a testament to his genuinely admirable character.Furthermore, Mike's wife (whom I haven t met) shares his passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the sober living houses. She invests her energy into decorating these spaces, aiming to transform them into genuine homes. Their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in recovery is commendable. My journey towards sobriety has spanned an extended period, during which I have undergone a profound transformation in both my lifestyle and mindset. While Next Level Recovery played an instrumental role in my progress, the true catalyst for change was the experience of residing in their sober living houses. These environments foster personal growth by allowing individuals to take ownership of their lives while also providing essential resources for those struggling.A well-designed sober living program should never be overly controlling, but rather empower individuals to learn how to care for themselves. However, it should also offer a safety net to prevent anyone from falling into the depths of despair. Next Level Recovery understands this delicate balance and ensures that residents are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive independently while offering support when needed.

Recovery Ways saved my life. I first came to RW in June of 2021. I was a live to die alcoholic from Northern California. I had been to 6 different rehabs in California from 1997 to 2018 prior. Though the rehabs were supportive and introduced me to the sobriety world it just never resonated in me. Since 1996 I d been through over a dozen jobs, several relationships and friends and burned just about every bridge I had left. I just couldn t get it. Drinking excessively not knowing what day or time it was, not eating for days- drinking myself into blackouts, just in a sad unhealthy world. In 2021 I had again reached out to some of the places I had been to before and they did not take my inst. In desperation I found RW online and from the first phone call, I was met with a kind and supportive intake person. They knew what I was going through and did everything they could to explain the program to me without being overwhelming. They checked my insurance and within 48 hours I was on a plane off to SLC. They had someone meet me at the airport- I was off to RW and embraced immediately with staff, therapists and the medical team. Soon after my detox I started my journey, which included process groups, individual therapy, CBT and DBT therapy, introduced to several different programs including various 12 step groups as well as Refuge Recovery. They also have an amazing sensory room for occupational therapy. The food was amazing all 3 square meals. Meeting so many like minded clients/people- there all for the same reason as myself- created new long term friends for support and friendships. RW also has an alumni support group, locally and Zoom based- which makes it easier to stay connected. I I m going on 3 years sober, staying connected is the most important thing I can do. Connection is the opposite of addiction. Thank you- Adam S.
