Amazing service

This is by far the best agency to go through if you need to do any substance abuse counseling or DWAI/DUI requirements for the courts and DMV. Dawn is a professional however she is very personable. You can tell that she cares deeply about her work and the people she is helping. She doesn't try and upsell you on anything. She gives great recommendations and she has a ton of resources. I've used other agencies in the past and they tend to just go through the motions. It's not therapeutic in the slightest. Dawn does a good job of getting you to interact and really think about things. She is an example of someone who is making a difference in the world. I attended alcohol education and therapy classes for a little over a year. It was a long process but Dawn helped me all the way through it. She was flexible with scheduling and payments. I am happy to say that she helped me realize more about myself and equipped me with the tools to maintain sobriety. Dawn is compassionate but not afraid to tell you what you need to hear. One of the failures of a lot of therapy seems that therapists affirm your behavior instead of addressing the issue and getting you to realize that some times it's a "you" problem. This is for the ATU unit specifically. I don’t even know where to start. So many good things to say! Please stay and read the whole thing. Especially if you’re considering going here. It was so good! I was just here, for a week and the experience was basically like a 5 star hotel! Besides the beds which they can’t change but that’s not their fault. Intake was so welcoming and I was very unsure about going inpatient based on past experiences, but after talking with them, I voluntarily went inpatient. Felt very confident. They have really comfortable chairs, not rock hard that are so uncomfortable to sit in. They have bathrooms outside of the rooms with doors that lock, so you have the most privacy you can get. They allow you to have your phone, which of course is a personal preference for some people as it may be best to get a total break from the outside world. And of course they have rules for using your phone such as no recording or videos or pictures for privacy. But other than that you are free to have your phone all the time. And they have all cords for every kind of phone there is behind the nurse’s desk to charge your phone whenever you want. They have a relaxation room that has a big picture of the beach with palm trees and the ocean, a picture of the Grand Canyon, a recliner, some comfortable chairs, and an exercise bike. Really great to get alone time without having to go in your room. The food is absolutely 5 out of 5! Catering from Springs Rescue Mission, and they take care of each patient. Offering second helpings. They offer round the clock care of course, including snacks whenever. Chips, cookies, milk, orange juice, etc. Unlike a lot of places, they allow patients free roam 24/7 on the unit. Other places there’s a “curfew” and “lights out”. They don’t push you to go to therapy. Of course they encourage you but they really empathize unlike others and understand what you’re going through. They offer that you can ask for one on one talking and processing with any of the staff on duty at any time. There are a few times of being aware of their time like when they are doing staff changes, shift changes, rounding on other patients, etc. But they are very gentle. They also offer yoga mats at request and books you can read freely. As well as a tv room where you can choose what to watch as long as it’s available and appropriate. And listen to music via tv as well. They have games that you can play either by yourself or with other patients. Also, they allow CPAP machines as long as the door is open at night so they can monitor closely to make sure you’re safe. I absolutely loved it here and highly highly recommend it to everyone. Great care! I do not know if the other units are like this. This is just my experience.

I've been in crisis twice this year. Both times, I could not ask for better help. Lauren saw the real me and what I truly needed. She didn't waste time working on getting me to the resources to put me on the road to recovery. Because, I didn't follow through with her same enthusiasm, I got to meet Adam. I'd like to thank God for him too. He also saw ME, knew exactly what I really needed to hear. These people are literally out here saving lives. Every person in the building I met showed me compassion, understanding and helped me plan a better future for myself. I wouldn't be here without their help. Thank you for being a true Light House.

Great transition place. 5 star chef for breakfast and lunch during the day and an overall positive atmosphere. The teachers are awesome. Best teacher by far is Mori, but DB is cool too.

I can’t speak highly enough of this establishment. I originally came in for group counseling, but since that ended, I decided to keep coming back for individual LENS treatment. Leeann has changed my life for the better in more ways than I can count. I can trust that she and her staff truly care about my mental health. I owe so much of my progression towards a healthier mindset and life style to a New Hope Counseling. I don’t know where I’d be without this place!

Having to go through this isn’t something anyone looks forward to, but since it was something I had to do, A New Hope Counseling turned what could have been a negative experience into as positive an experience as possible. The intake process was smooth and stress-free, and they worked with me to find a therapy class that fit perfectly with my schedule. I really appreciated that the classes are offered via Telehealth. It made it so much easier to participate while balancing a busy life. The counselors here are top-notch. They genuinely care and will go above and beyond to help you navigate the process or connect you with the resources you need to succeed. The staff is friendly and professional. My daughter has a good relationship with her therapist, Pia, and I’m happy with the progress we’ve made! If you or your child don’t connect with one therapist, they will let you try another one.

Their client-centered mindset garuntees you won’t slip through the cracks and get lost in the grey. These people will fight for you. They’ll advocate for you. They’ll pick you up and give you the tools to fly. They’re still here for you even when they’re off the clock. I’ve seen them go to great lengths to support so many individuals recoveries. Also they make recovery fun! They give you new ways to think about yourself and the world. As clients, we all become one big family. At the start of your first day, you’ll enter the doors on your own. When you leave, you’ll be leaving as part of a community. Also they have good snacks and they feed you an awesome lunch.

I can open up to her about anything and never feel judged. She has a heart of gold and tryely cares about me n my well being. I have been a resident of Rocky Mountain Sober Living for almost 6 months, upon my transition to getting my own place. Rocky Mountain gave me the tools and options to explore a routine schedule, goals and activities I never knew were possible, whilst giving me a safe place to stay each and every night. The community may be random at best, but Mike does a great job of vetting and taking care of each and every concern of every resident. 2 rules, stay sober and stay on top of the opportunities and rules to better your life and those around you. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and the bonds I’ve made since joining Mikes program and I have/would suggest it to anyone as long as your goal is to stay sober and start living the life you want. Thank you Mike and Jodi, thank you Ryan and Easy, thank you Heath and Gil. These individuals have opened up new opportunities and have given me the care and guidance I needed and continue to live by their word. I would not be where I am today without them. PSA: I’ve lived with Felix. If you begin to prioritize your DOC and don’t seek help in the individuals mentioned or your home group, which I’ve found through Rocky Mountain/Purple Mountain. So I came from landmark recovery in Aurora to Rocky mountains over living the Westwood House where I've had nothing but the best experience in sober living a place where brotherhood really mean something and please for guys stick together and stand together and sobriety this is the house that would completely recommend to anyone who's in it for the right reasons I want to thank Mike mattis the owner forgiving me an opportunity of a lifetime. A place where I got my life on track again thank you mike forgiving me an opportunity to stay in one of your homes
