Dani, the Alumni Relations Manager, has been incredible. The love, selflessness and the genuine care and compassion she shows us means a lot. She goes above and beyond when running groups, she's always prepared, and it's clear she wants the best for us and wants us to have a life worth living. Immediately after admission, AWA had a treatment plan in place for us. We finally had a safe place to share our issues, without fear, judgement or harsh criticism. During my son’s treatment at AWA, I always felt that all the staff had his best interest truly at heart. They genuinely cared about him. I found the parent support night extremely helpful and learned so much. However, my son’s therapist, Nicholas, was truly our lifeline. He is down to earth, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and has a special talent for counseling difficult teens. He genuinely cares about his clients. He also was a great role model for my son. Had it not been for Nic, I don’t believe that my son would have completed the program. I always felt that I was very much included in my son’s plan of care. I was a little nervous going to a new clinic and engaging into a new relationship with a new doctor. The whole experience was amazingly easy and and very welcoming. I did most of my check in online in My Chart and the receptionists were very professional. My waiting time was last than ten minutes and I was getting my vitals done by a doctor assistant and her trainee. Both were very polite and efficient. They confirmed my meds from the list on My Chart and gave me EKG. Dr.Misra arrived moments later and right way i realized that I was in good hands! She asked me the correct questions and offered me educated answers. The doctor was so nice and polite and was even concerned about my sleeping habits that she want to know how many pillows I slept with! I am not a hypocondriac but I am looking forward to my next appointment. Well done doctor. My mother recently underwent major lung surgery, and during such a difficult and painful time, they treated her with incredible kindness, compassion, and dedication. Ernest cared for my mother throughout her first night after surgery. He was attentive all night, constantly checking on her, making sure she was comfortable and that her pain was being addressed. His patience and gentle manner gave us so much peace of mind. Asley cared for her the following morning with the same extraordinary compassion. She was attentive to every detail, helped bathe her, kept her comfortable, and treated her with genuine love and tenderness. I have so much to be thankful for this company and this process! I was one of those convinced that I didn’t need treatment, that I could do this all on my own. But I’d tried it my way too many times without success. Finally reaching out for help has been one of the best decisions of my life. The staff here are amazing! From the therapists, the BHT’s, case workers, everyone. And especially the LIV program. All of the activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and rock climbing to name a few really helped me to remember the person I used to be. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for help, can’t say enough good things about it.

Having experienced both the Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield facilities, I appreciate the differences between the two residential campuses. Fort Lauderdale provided the necessary support when my acuity was at its highest, but Deerfield has given me the independence and responsibility I needed so I can start preparing for life outside of treatment. My therapist, Dr. Despina, has a huge heart filled with love and has not only taught me skills, but she holds me accountable and challenges me to use them. She has helped me build a life worth living. Dr. Hume, my family therapist, is really good. She has helped me work on my boundaries and have a healthy relationship with my family. Dani, the Alumni Relations Manager, has been incredible. The love, selflessness and the genuine care and compassion she shows us means a lot. She goes above and beyond when running groups, she's always prepared, and it's clear she wants the best for us and wants us to have a life worth living. She goes out of her way to help us feel special, through birthday cards (and cakes) and remembering small things about us. She really cares and this goes such a long way. I am very thankful for the staff and the care at the Deerfield campus during my stabilization stay!

LifeSkills was there for our family during a difficult time. The Deerfield Beach location provided excellent care, and we were especially grateful for Tomas and Gina’s compassion and support. Dani has been truly incredible. The alumni program and ongoing support groups she leads are among the most valuable parts of LifeSkills. Her dedication does not end when treatment does. Honesty, I wanted to go to a place that would help me. Florida House Experience ended up being that place. I spent 50 days during a nation wide lockdown, a.k.a. COVID TIMES, and came away healthier than I have ever been, mentally and spiritually. They patched me up with good clean food, soft serve ice cream, coping skills, mental health tools, and a forever family through their alumni programs. Thank you FHE, I am here today with your help, because the night before EMTs were picking me up out of a gutter and the ER threw me out after a cup of water. I never saw that attitude while I was at Florida House Experience. Are there rules? Yes, but they are there for safety and part of the plan to bring you to a better state of health, physically, mentally and spiritually.

This is by far the best place in the US for struggling first responders! Everybody has there own recipe for getting through life events and struggles and its certainly not a one size fits all process. FHE Shatterproof offers literally a buffet of resources for you to explore and determain what helps you specifically! Your not ever forced into any specific modality of proffesional service and get to build your own custom plan to gain peace and happiness back! FHE is the only place I have ever heard of that provides outstanding followup to include a free annual retreat at the beautiful Lake Aurora Christian Camp located in Lake Whales, FL. This in itself is life changing! When you have had enough and are ready to change your life, this is your oppertunity to take life back!

I came to simple path, not knowing which direction my life was going. From the moment I brought my son to AWA, I knew we were in the right place. I was exhausted, constantly worrying about my teen and the risky behaviors he was engaging in. Every discussion became an heated argument with no resolution. Immediately after admission, AWA had a treatment plan in place for us. We finally had a safe place to share our issues, without fear, judgement or harsh criticism. During my son’s treatment at AWA, I always felt that all the staff had his best interest truly at heart. They genuinely cared about him. I found the parent support night extremely helpful and learned so much. However, my son’s therapist, Nicholas, was truly our lifeline. He is down to earth, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and has a special talent for counseling difficult teens. He genuinely cares about his clients. He also was a great role model for my son. Had it not been for Nic, I don’t believe that my son would have completed the program. I always felt that I was very much included in my son’s plan of care. Nic has a talent for keeping parents up to date without breaking client trust. Post AWA, I feel like I have my son back! I'm eternally grateful to all the Dr. Maria and all her staff. I miss them already! Thank you all for your kindness and professionalism.

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After completing Sylvia Brafman’s residential program in Georgia, my son transitioned into their PHP program in South Florida for continued treatment of schizoaffective disorder. The transition between the two programs was smooth, and the PHP team continued providing the structure, compassion, and support he needed as he adjusted back to everyday life. The staff has been absolutely amazing. They treat my son with dignity, patience, and respect, and they genuinely care about his progress. Unlike any other place I’ve been to, the staff treated me with such a graceful and welcoming attitude. The whole facility maxes out at about 25 people so groups and therapy are all tailored to you. From the very head of principles down to the drivers you get the same consistency in willingness to help. Facility is ran smoothly with attention to detail including cleanliness. I highly recommend this to anyone I know in a similar situation especially if you’re indecisive on narrowing down the complex recovery network in South Florida.

I just finished my first visit with my new cardiologist, Dr Deepika Misra, at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. I was a little nervous going to a new clinic and engaging into a new relationship with a new doctor. The whole experience was amazingly easy and and very welcoming. I did most of my check in online in My Chart and the receptionists were very professional. My waiting time was last than ten minutes and I was getting my vitals done by a doctor assistant and her trainee. Both were very polite and efficient. They confirmed my meds from the list on My Chart and gave me EKG. Dr.Misra arrived moments later and right way i realized that I was in good hands! She asked me the correct questions and offered me educated answers. The doctor was so nice and polite and was even concerned about my sleeping habits that she want to know how many pillows I slept with! I am not a hypocondriac but I am looking forward to my next appointment. Well done doctor. Alex

I want to express my deepest gratitude to two exceptional nurses, Ernest Knight and Asley Fernández, on the 4th floor. My mother recently underwent major lung surgery, and during such a difficult and painful time, they treated her with incredible kindness, compassion, and dedication. Ernest cared for my mother throughout her first night after surgery. He was attentive all night, constantly checking on her, making sure she was comfortable and that her pain was being addressed. His patience and gentle manner gave us so much peace of mind. Asley cared for her the following morning with the same extraordinary compassion. She was attentive to every detail, helped bathe her, kept her comfortable, and treated her with genuine love and tenderness. As a daughter, there is nothing more comforting than seeing your mother treated with such humanity during a vulnerable moment. Ernest and Asley are truly wonderful nurses, and Mount Sinai should be very proud to have them. Our family will never forget the care and kindness they showed my mother. Family run business that makes recovery a priority. They provide quality service with professionals that are not only knowledgeable but personable. How many other addiction treatment centers can you go to where the CEO is so hands on that he conducts groups and workouts on the regular?! Not to mention that the center and housing are pet friendly! 5/5 would recommend.

Great Environment always looking out for you no matter what and focus on mind body soul and a major transformation to keep you engaged the place is clean and a great spot to attend meetings, social outings, and get your head on straight. Clear mind and sober living spot with care. Yes medication nurse station available and yes help with food water shelter and living for a better opportunity. #NeverGiveUpHope #MasterMindCare
