The new building is in need of handicap access to the front door, it also needs automatic door opens for emergency exits and also the clinic opening doors. It was nice of them to call me and let me know if I needed help to the front of the building, because I do not walk. It was also nice of them to contact me twice just to make sure that I was going to my appointment. The two ladies at the front desk were very helpful, also there is a nurse in the back named Lisa. Lisa worked hand in hand with Dr Tanner and I was treated with respect and understanding. The clinic is a good place to go, if you're in need of medical Care.

The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt. I did not ask for this to happen, but I am eternally grateful for the safety net Gallus provided me. I am 30 days sober because of you. And me. And the universe. We just returned from my husband Eric’s first VA primary care appointment and were absolutely blown away by how efficient, professional, and downright welcoming the entire experience was.
We were checked in by Kayla, who was friendly and fast — I don’t think we even sat for a full minute before being called back. That kind of efficiency is rare these days! Mark, the RN, was kind, thorough, and respectful and made sure we had every number we needed to navigate the system with confidence. Then we met Joshua Makela, PA-C and it was clear from the start that we were in excellent hands. Not only is Josh a veteran himself (which we deeply respect), but he’s also compassionate, knowledgeable, and a true listener. He took his time to explain everything, answer questions, and walk us through what to expect going forward.
After the appointment, Kayla checked us out and scheduled Eric’s next annual physical. We left feeling informed, supported, and so grateful to be part of Team Freedom. This group truly feels like our tribe.
Huge thanks to everyone at the VA — you’ve restored our faith in healthcare and veteran support. We’re so happy to be in your care!

My son is 18 and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. To say the very least it’s been hard and traumatic. My son went to the crossroads detox facility. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. Rose and Bridgette were incredibly impressionable on my son and worked very hard to influence him positively. If I could afford to open a dozen more of these places I would. Despite my obstinate reluctance to participate in this type of therapy, the staff has been extremely confident and flexible in finding a way to help me. I am still surprised and very grateful for their commitment and sincerity. They really have helped in a direct and tangible fashion in a very short time. I never would have guessed that I would end up with such gratitude and respect for the people and process I have been gifted with. I offer my best wishes for all those who sacrifice so much to help and serve to foster recovery and wellness for others. Somehow, even I seem to be worth the effort from such generous folk. My inability to fathom anything that could justify the time spent with me by such wonderous people does not diminish my gratitude for the effects of the education, caring and results achieved.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. I am thankful for my decision to choose Fountain Hills and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about making decisions that will shape their future for the better.

I was admitted here for a few days and let me just say it was a nightmare. My first night there I had a really bad panic attack and the nurses couldn’t care less. One of them basically told me to keep it down or else I’ll stay longer. The entire weekend was terrifying and nobody seemed to actually care about the individuals. The techs are much nicer and actually talk to us like human beings. The nurses just gave us medications and asked “how are you doing”. That’s it. That’s the only time they ever checked in on us. God forbid you actually had a problem too. The way they treated people who were clearly going through a serious mental health crisis was disgraceful and disgusting. This place made my mental health worse. If you have a choice DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was also pretty bad.

Dear Friends at The Arc,
I am writing this letter to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude for the life you have given back to me.
When I was facing a potential prison sentence of 16.5 years, your organization stepped in. Your team’s tireless advocacy and commitment to my case were instrumental, and I will never forget your work in the courtroom.
Because of your efforts, I was able to walk away with a sentence of five years probation. This outcome was nothing short of a miracle for me.
Today, my life is full of promises and great gifts. I wake up every day with a profound sense of hope and opportunity that I would not have without your intervention.
The Arc is more than just an organization; it is a place of love, care, and true consideration for those who are most in need. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my life back.
Sincerely,
Joaquin

Phoenix, AZ | Community Medical Services in Phoenix, Arizona, is a medical clinic that provides an opioid treatment program. They provide counseling, peer to peer support and the latest medications for treating opioid use disorder. The medications that are administered include naltrexone, methadone and buprenorphine. The organization believes in providing expert | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Obviously, no one comes here (particularly the first time) when everything in his or her life is going perfectly and all of his or her hopes and dreams have just come true. If you find yourself in need of CMS you are probably at or below rock bottom. Furthermore, I would think it would go without saying that to be an employee of CMS or any similar business, one would have to be kind, patient, and understanding but as anyone who has ever been to the Cactus location will undoubtedly confirm, that isn't the case. I was at Cactus for less than one month, but have witnessed first-hand as well as through friends who have been going there for years, that nearly the entire staff at that location seem to hate their jobs only slightly less than they hate their clients. Rude, disrespectful, and in some cases what can only be described as intentionally cruel and bordering on sadistic was what I came to expect from CMS, until moving to this location on the corner of 23rd Avenue and Northern. Here, the opposite is true as I have witnessed all the best qualities humanity has to offer from nearly everyone on staff. This includes the receptionists at the front desk, through the nurses, providers and counselors, not only towards me but generally to all people who are the most in need of such compassion and yet are often the least likely to receive it from a society that has been taught to see people suffering this affliction and instead judge them to be undesirables, criminals, or worse. In particular, Bea at the front desk and Kaleen, my counselor need to be recognized. Even when surrounded by other people demonstrating the correct way to treat those in need of help and support, Bea and Kaleen manage to distinguish themselves with their empathy and warmth. If you should ever find yourself in need of a place like CMS, you will be hard-pressed to discover anywhere more welcoming and less judgemental. Neither will you find a staff more compassionate, nor are you likely to encounter people who more embody the traits we should honestly expect from everyone in a health care field. While it would be nice if services like this were no longer needed, I couldn't be more pleased to have found this CMS location at a point where I couldn't have needed them more.
Just one last thing to add. I noticed more 1-star reviews for this location than I would have expected. When I investigated this a little further, I discovered that all but two of the negative reviews were from at least six years ago and one of the two "newer" poor reviews was two years old. If you were swayed by the criticism, I hope you now believe (as I do) that the problems that apparently plagued this location were in the past. It truly does appear that they have taken the past critiques seriously, have addressed those issues, and now run a clinic with nearly perfect ratings. While I was initially distressed to see so many low scores after posting my honest, very flattering opinion of this CMS, especially after making the point that the kindness and compassion I witnessed wasn't only directed at me, I am relieved to learn that the overwhelming majority of those scores were from a time before I started coming here. I also now wonder if several or many employees moved from this location to Cactus five to seven years ago...

Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

I’ve only had good experiences at the Main hospital. I guess I have been lucky; I‘ve had excellent care. It's like civilian medical systems; there is good and bad. Most issues I have had have been with administration.

If it wasn't for the staff here and their knowledge of helping people who have a addiction and working with veterans and the VA I would have probably relapsed if they would have let me go before I was really to go.

Phoenix, AZ | TLC Treatment Center is a drug and alcohol rehab located in Mesa, AZ. They provide outpatient addiction treatment and on-campus housing. This facility offers a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, housing services, and psychiatric care. The partial hospitalization program is the most intensive level of care and consis | Treatments Programs Payment Options | TLC Treatment Center in Mesa helped me get my life back on track. I came in feeling lost and honestly didn’t expect much, but the structure, support, and community completely changed that.
The staff doesn’t sugarcoat things they’re honest, and they push you to do the work, but they also care. You’re not just another number here. They helped me with job search, recovery goals, and even housing support while I was in outpatient treatment.
It’s not about luxury, it’s about real recovery. If you’re looking for a treatment program in Mesa that actually works and holds people accountable, I’d recommend TLC 100%.

I’ve seen a lot of treatment centers come and go, but TLC in Mesa really stands out. The program is structured and holds you accountable, but there’s also genuine care behind the rules. The staff meets you where you’re at, and it’s clear they want to see people succeed.
They helped me not just with recovery, but with job readiness and life skills too. Housing was included while I was in outpatient, and that stability made a huge difference. If you’re serious about turning things around, this place can give you a real shot.
It’s not fancy or flashy, but it works and that’s what matters. I’d recommend TLC to anyone in Mesa or nearby who’s looking for solid support and real results in their recovery journey.

I learned a lot going to TLC. I have heard many stories about others and how they don’t work but this one works! The staff are absolutely amazing and help anyone and everyone in anyway possible. It’s a 4 month treatment center but in that 4 months they teach you so much and they help you get back on your feet. You go out and look for jobs so that when your time is done there you should have a job and some money saved up and not just thrown back out in the streets! This place was a god send!

I came here for several reasons. About 8 hours in, I decided it was not for me and that I was leaving. They encouraged me to not leave. Everyone was great! Very nice, hospitable and friendly. Tony was an absolute great guy. He listened to me and even spoke with my partner. It was a pleasure knowing him. He had total respect for me and my feelings. I so much appreciate him. Thank you Tony.
