I left this facility as a patient 3 days ago and I wanted to leave a review from the inside. I was in for alcohol detox and I was there for 6 days and admitted myself.
It’s time to give praise where praise is due.
Staff by name:
Nate - RN this was one of the better nurses and he worked the night shift, there were several points when I was at an all-time low, especially at night. Nate took the time to sit down with me and make sure that I was OK every single time. He cares about his job and his patients and it clearly showed.
Zack - this gentleman worked in the CSU, he had an incredible personality and he is the gentleman that you would be working with at night if you were doing intake. Me and him had conversation for hours about working out, family, religion. as far as I understood it, he had achieved employee of the month of the month prior and there’s a very big reason. Zack was a massive part of being able to talk to me while my anxiety was so high. This gentleman deserves nothing but praise and probably a raise.
Nicole - she was a floor tech that also works nights, she’s a good worker and does what she needs to. She just seems to be very quiet and somewhat antisocial so she was not a good person to talk to however, you could see her work ethic and how she contributed to the facility.
Eric or Airwik - again, this is a floor tech. This gentleman deserves nothing but praise. He worked nights and days. He was very easy to talk too, me and him talked about his background for his native descent and we spoke about music. We had good conversation which is what is required for a lot of these patients.
Denise - Just awesome, thank you for being a support
Kody - this is a daytime floor tech, again sat down with me had excellent conversations and he ended up playing Uno with all of us patients several times over. He had an ability to connect with his patients and make him feel like a familiar friend. Kody deserves some of the highest praise as he gets somewhat intimate with his clients.
Andrea - registered nurse, this girl is a powerhouse of a woman. Her and I shared the same religious background and on the day of my release she did nothing but tell me the success that she saw for me. You can also tell that she goes to the gym; shared. She’s high energy and is very on the ball she had a way of sharing her positive energy which shared hope she was a significant part of my discharge her and I spoke for probably 30 minutes before I got discharged. She is intense a little bit loud, but absolutely a wonderful soul.
Julie - fantastic human being.
Austin - this gentleman is a part of CSU again the intake portion. Him and I spoke the first night for probably two hours when I was first admitted. Again, we spoke about religion general concepts, and Austin is an absolute nerd. He reads books every single day and he has card games and things like that. One thing that stuck out about Austin is that he is extremely intelligent and he would love to talk to you about almost anything. Me and him mostly spoke about God.
Bonnie - Bonnie was the cleaning lady over in the CSU unit. I believe she used to be a police officer. She’s a very intimidating woman, but she’s also extremely sweet if you’re just not a jerk. Around when I first got there in the CSU she showed me where the snacks and drinks were treated me like a human being.
Dave - this is another gentleman from the CSU, he’s usually quiet at first as he feels you out and what your temperament is but again after he knows that you’re not something that is a threat he’ll open up to you. Another gentleman that is highly intelligent.
Lastly
Robert - RN my first interaction with Robert was when I needed something from the nurses. When I tried to get his attention, he looked at me and shook his head and then look away from me, which was very dehumanizing. After that when he left the nurses cage, I tried to get his attention and he ignored me three times. This guy is terrible and as far as I understand it, most of the staff doesn’t even like him.

This place changed my life and quite possibly saved it as well. All the nurses were wonderful and in particular Kerry, Nate, Haven, Shavon, Heather, and Zac. The techs were amazing including Richard 1, Jay, Richard 2, Steph, Cody. I'm sure there are others I interacted with that were great as well that I'm forgetting. Both psych NPs were attentive and thorough and really cared! Both social workers Kenzie and Kat are some of the best people on this planet. They brought together the whole plan for me. Everyone on staff truly care about all of us patients and were extremely professional, efficient, and attentive. This place is a staple and much needed on the mountain, they serve our community in amazing ways. Thank you to everyone! Changepoint changed my life and will change yours too!

I finally got to see my husband today. After 2 days. I though his was at a different facility. My husband couldn't remember my phone number to call me so he asked one of the nurses to please check his phone number for my phone number and she did. She didn't have to everyone was so so nice when I first got there so excited to see him. I made him some food. An we ate snack's I brought. I just want to thank everyone to making me feel welcomed. Not one person was judgemental.... THANK U for the people that work in the evening. God bless you and your family's..

My wife just had hip replacement surgery, and spent 1.5 days at GRMC. The entire staff, starting with Dr. Robinson, was exceptional, but special shout-outs to Mari (Occupational Therapy), Lauren (Physical Therapy), and our recently-graduated Nurse. The charge nurse, the CNAs, the man who brought meals--all of them were great, and if I've left someone out I apologize, because everyone was terrific.

I want to share what a great healthcare experience I had this past June while experiencing a major medical emergency. I spent a total of 8 days in the hospital and in my opinio, I couldn't have received better care anywhere else. :) The caregivers are so skilled, compassionate, professional and caring. I experienced that in each department I came in contact with from ER, SCU, Doctors, Imaging, Dietary, Housekeeping and EMS. When it came to the realization I needed help to overcome my addiction, I ended up choosing to go to Sobermans. I couldn't have been more grateful for this choice and the experience. I can't say enough about the accommodations, setting, and food. However those things mean nothing without the proper staff. The best thing about Sobermans is their people. The care I received from each and every member of staff there was overwhelming. I've since returned for some aftercare and Alumni events, and upon my return, it feels like home. These people are the most caring attentive people and I was not once uncomfortable during my stay. Please please if you need help, call them. I promise you will get it. I felt like a VIP in a hotel not in detox. From Lindsay and Alli and all their support and belief in me to Derek, Stephanie, Mora, Ingrid and Jaden who were such caring nurses. And DR. My son is 18 and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. To say the very least it’s been hard and traumatic. My son went to the crossroads detox facility. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. Rose and Bridgette were incredibly impressionable on my son and worked very hard to influence him positively. If I could afford to open a dozen more of these places I would. God bless these people and those struggling with addiction.

I have worked with Scottsdale Providence and its clients for years. Their dedication to client care and their clinical acumen has been nothing less than exceptional. Providence has a heavy focus on individualizing treatment to clients' needs rather than pushing every client through the same curriculum. It is obvious from working with their therapists that they genuinely care about people lives and outcomes. This is also apparent in their dedication to aftercare planning. I could not recommend Scottsdale Providence more highly.

Scottsdale Providence center has been a great experience to me. It's helped me shape my life to become an outstanding person and understand me as a person, the staff here has been amazing and truly helpful to my recovery for addition and mental health. In the beginning I was very hesitant to stay but I stuck it out and I will say it was worth it bc I learn skills everyday to help begin to build my future. They helped me with financial problems and legal problems, they truly listen to me and I feel heard. Housing with the women's house has truly been a great experience for me to be able to adult and learn how to live with other people who have the same or similar struggles as I do.

I just left River Source in Arizona City today. it was a great experience! The staff was great and the program exceeded my expectations. I have to give a shout out to my case manager Delia. She always made time for me and everyone else. I also have to give shout out to Francisco, a great BHT. Despite my obstinate reluctance to participate in this type of therapy, the staff has been extremely confident and flexible in finding a way to help me. I am still surprised and very grateful for their commitment and sincerity. They really have helped in a direct and tangible fashion in a very short time. I never would have guessed that I would end up with such gratitude and respect for the people and process I have been gifted with. I offer my best wishes for all those who sacrifice so much to help and serve to foster recovery and wellness for others. Somehow, even I seem to be worth the effort from such generous folk. My inability to fathom anything that could justify the time spent with me by such wonderous people does not diminish my gratitude for the effects of the education, caring and results achieved.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. I am thankful for my decision to choose Fountain Hills and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about making decisions that will shape their future for the better.

Our son reached the 4 Year sober mark in July (2025)! Don't want to think about where he/we would be without B2B! Fighting his Fentanyl addiction with 30 day 'clinical' facilities was not working...like sooo many have figured out. My Mom has been with Soul Surgery for the past 2 months. It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining.

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.

Wanted to come here and say how much I enjoyed my 30 day stay here in 2021. It was kind of a wild experience at first as an alcohol user and definitely opened my eyes seeing the struggle of drug addiction firsthand. The staff was great and taught me a lot. The rooms were very comfortable. If any of the staff that was there in January of 2021 is still there I want them to know that I have greatly improved my life and have held a full time corporate job for almost 4 years.
