This is the best clinic I have been to so far and I've been in treatment for over 10 years. Highly recommend this place to anyone look to start. The dr and counselors are very nice and willing to help you with your problems and really care. I switched because they offer split dosing because I was getting sick later in the day and all the other place didn't want to help but it is really going to be a big improvement for me.

Lebanon, OH | Talbert House – Warren Outpatient Services is part of a community nonprofit that serves Southwest Ohio residents. They offer adult and youth behavioral health, housing, community care, and court and corrections services. Their Lebanon, Ohio location serves residents of Clinton and Warren counties. Residents of other counties may be eligible f | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been with this Talbert House location for a couple of years after being placed into court ordered therapy for an ILC program. There are some things that I’d like to state. The very first therapist I had, an Asian woman, was awful. I do not think she is currently with the company, I don’t know if that had anything to do with her awfulness. She was very callous, judgmental, and constantly made me feel like a P.O.S and like my appointments were a burden to her. I didn’t feel like any of my therapy sessions helped because she was, for lack of better word, a see you next Tuesday who clearly didn’t like anyone that had a run in with substances in their past (despite me being clean since May 21 on opioids, and only smoking a little weed here and there and minor alcohol).
However, my therapist now, Kaitlyn, has made up for that. I’m able to be open and honest with her about everything. I had a recent DV incident with my ex that completely changed my life and flipped everything upside down. With Kaitlyn, I’ve been able to stay sober from marijuana and alcohol, and feel satisfied doing so. Not that your therapists are supposed to feel like your “friends” but now that Kaitlyn will be going to a different facility to help even more people, I do not know if my next therapist will be as good as Kaitlyn. My therapy sessions with Kaitlyn have me believing in the mental health institution and in therapy itself. Before, I only came because I had to. Now, I WANT to come because it’s healing me.
This Talbert House will be losing an amazing employee and I only hope the next practitioners are even half the therapist of her.
After some thought I wanted to add something else. When my ex strangled me and went to jail, this Talbert House absolutely saved me and my sons lives. I was homeless and living in my car and a shelter, and went into preterm labor at 30 weeks pregnant from the assault. Kaitlyn, Amanda, and the others at the team here at Talbert House found me somewhere to live, had it furnished, and had so many donations for me and my son in less than a week. Without them, I don’t know if me and my child would still be together or if I’d even be alive. When you read these reviews please consider that maybe they aren’t giving therapy or this location a fair chance. Turnovers happen everywhere, therapists get new and better jobs. They find new opportunities, they grow and change within their lives. However it doesn’t mean that this Talbert isn’t doing their best.
If you give yourself a fair and fighting chance, you will absolutely succeed at this Talbert House.

Update: Over 2 years sober. I also went through a very high risk period for relapse over the past month. For whatever reason cravings and temptations came back, but I used what I learned at the Ridge and am still sober and so thankful. Definitely recommend. This is the best thing you will ever do for yourself.
Update: 526 days sober and going strong. I have definitely had cravings and vulnerable points, but have managed to stay sober thanks in large part to the ridge.
I'm at 8 months sober today and can say that the things I learned at the Ridge still help me every day- literally. I am still in the aftercare program and getting a lot out of it. If you need help this is a great place to build a foundation for sobriety (and abstinence from other drugs as well).
Summary: The Ridge is an excellent comprehensive treatment program for alcohol use disorder (and others). I personally had an exceptional experience with the residential treatment program, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare. Nothing about this experience was easy but I am confident that due to my experience with The Ridge I have a solid recovery foundation (I am just over 4 months sober currently).
This review focuses on residential care
Highlights
-well developed program that is evidence based
-full days
-attendance at local 12 step meetings
-access to a wide variety of recreational activities and art and music therapy classes
-I felt prepared when I left and have continued to feel that way (it has been difficult but I have the tools)
-staff are compassionate and helpful; many are in recovery themselves
- peer support
- comfortable accomodations and excellent food
My advice if you are going to a program like The Ridge (these things helped me to have continued success today)
-follow the rules, yes they may seem silly
-do awkward things they ask like getting a temporary sponsor and numbers at meetings
-listen to their advice, they may says things that sound stupid,my experience is that the things I think sound stupid end up being the pertinent ones
-try to relax into the time; enjoy not having to do a ton of chores, cook for yourself etc
-take the time to build a new hobby
I electected to go to The Ridge when I came to terms with the fact that I have an alcohol use disorder. I was receiving psychiatric care and my provider gently led me to acknowledge this. Two providers independently recommended The Ridge when I expressed interest in treatment.
Residential
I initially signed up for the 30 day program but decided to stay longer as I was getting a lot out of the program and am really happy that I did.
Residential days are very full. The beginning of the day is filled with groups. The afternoon has time for recreational activities (no naps). A lot of people take up pickleball during this time but there is also the option to go to the pool (when open), do art, write, etc. Evenings there are 12 step meetings in the community.
Accomodations
I stayed in a private room which I would say was Marrott quality. Cleaning services are provided. You are expected to make your bed (a pretty minor thing). The meals are excellent and snacks are freely available. The culinary staff are great- very personable and great educators. It was sufficiently comfortable and quiet enough to get quality sleep.
Nursing
Nursing staff were generally available and very helpful. Medication time windows could be a bit tight but were feasible.
Recovery support specialist staff
Recovery support specialists helped with sessions, daily questions, and herding everyone, They all have different personalities but in general were very easy to get along with. Supervisory staff were very helpful and responsive.
Counselors
Generally had very helpful sessions, individual counseling was very helpful.

I recently completed a 30-day stay at this residential alcohol rehab facility, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for by the entire staff.
The nursing support staff was absolutely incredible — compassionate, empathetic, attentive, and always willing to listen. They made a difficult process feel much more manageable, and their kindness truly stood out. The BHT staff was equally wonderful: friendly, engaging, supportive, and always encouraging throughout my stay.
The group sessions were one of the most impactful parts of the program. They provided deep personal insight, practical tools for long-term success, and created a strong sense of connection and support among peers. I left with a much greater sense of self-awareness and confidence moving forward in recovery.
The environment itself was peaceful and healing. The facility sits on 112 acres of beautiful wooded surroundings that created a serene, calm, and tranquil atmosphere perfect for recovery and reflection. The activities offered were thoughtful, relaxing, and helped promote both mental and emotional wellness.
The accommodations were comfortable, with adequate living space, private bathrooms, and comfortable beds that made the stay feel safe and relaxing. The food was another unexpected highlight — meals prepared by the executive chefs were consistently amazing and far exceeded expectations.
Overall, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking help with recovery. The combination of caring staff, meaningful programming, beautiful surroundings, and supportive community made this an experience I will always be grateful for. Truly a 5-star program.

If you’re uninsured, their team can help you apply for coverage or you’ll use their mo | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Look I'm going to keep it 100 right I don't get how anyone that has been there more than once would give any less than five stars. For real this is the first time I've done a review and I did it cuz I seen some haters and I ain't with that especially when I know it's real. All right so I want to highlight a few things and people that should give you a clear picture if you ain't never been there. Angie and Vic stand out to me because they're the first people you see when you get there and they make you feel welcome and they are really on point when it comes to making things happen quickly. I got ADD that one way and I'm terrible with names and I wanted to put everybody in here but I'm about to leave some people out and I apologize. I've been to a few other treatment places and none of them can compare to the service and flexibility along with the way you feel like everybody really has an interest in your well-being. Trish is like a counselor now so it looks like she is in an even better role to personally affect people's lives and it's easy to see that her interest in your success is genuine. I've been going there since 2020 and they've always done their thing but here lately they really on top of their game. If you in a tight spot financially they gon work with you and now there even little things like free snacks and other things. They are involved every area of your life that you feel needs improvement. Mental and physical health services are part of the package and even tho the stigma of substance abuse has been declining they ensure your confidentiality and will help you with your legal matters or parole/probation which is a big deal if you got to deal with the system. There's a couple ladies I wanted to mention just cuz they of important role they play in the whole experience so I'm hoping I can edit this after I see them next week. Angie isn't there all the time but when she is she keeps things moving and I have to give the boss a shout out cuz every time I needed something that he could help with he didn't hesitate to make it happen. What's crazy is that even with all the requirements that you go through to get your meds (which they provide right there on site so you don't even have to go to a pharmacy) they get you in and out of there so much quicker than they used to. If it's your first day going there so I can say is be prepared for a long day and a thorough examination which is necessary to get you started the right way. But after that it's usually pretty quick and easy. Last thing I want to say is how awesome the providers are. They never rush you through and don't judge you or chastise you if you slip up. I've been clean of opiates since 6-17-2013 because of Suboxone and back when I started it was super expensive and hard to get. I'm glad times have changed and a place like Brightview in Fairfield, Ohio exists. 💯

Im a Big Fan of Brightview. I have been since day one. I would recommend it to anyone who was serious about getting help. If you just need an excuse it's not the right fit but if you are earnest it's the best place you could put your trust in. Only complaint I have is each Brightview location should have their own number so when an addict needs to talk to someone they have a number to reach their councler or Dr... I realize it's not ideal to be available 24/7 but it could save someone's life and wouldn't that make it all worthwhile. Thank you Brightview

I was torn, but ultimately decide I would wait a month to post this to ensure my progress was sustainable, rather than just a temporary, positive boost from just finishing the program.
The care in PHP is exceptional. I worked with a phenomenal, deeply passionate therapist, and the content we learned was genuinely revolutionary for me. The nursing education sessions were highly informative, and the psychiatric staff was incredibly understanding and helpful in identifying my specific needs. They provide fantastic strategies and tools that (when put into practice) have transformed by how I go about my life.
My only concern involves some of the front desk and auxiliary staff. Interactions with them sometimes made it feel like patient needs were being disregarded. This was never personally; but anecdotally I noticed issues around accessibility needs not being met.
Ultimately, the core program and clinical team are outstanding and deliver an experience that creates lasting, positive change. If you are seeking help, Beckett Springs is the place to support you in changing for the better.
