| Lighthouse Recovery Texas is located in Dallas, Texas, where they provide clinical outpatient and residential programs for those experiencing a drug or alcohol addiction. Their personalized and comprehensive approach to care begins with an acute rehabilitation program and continues through a sober living environment. They are accredited by The Joi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As the parent of a loved one who is addicted to alcohol, I highly commend the services provided to him and to our whole family while he was a resident at Lighthouse Recovery in Dallas, Texas. Lighthouse provided a supportive environment and a treatment regimen that was individually tailored to his needs, his strengths, and his weaknesses. Even when he suffered setbacks, the staff continued to provide structure, support, and encouragement to succeed. During his time at Lighthouse, his case manager, Michael, provided regular updates on his progress in weekly phone calls to us family members, and he was always accessible when we had questions or concerns. Even when my son chose to leave Lighthouse so that he could resume drinking, the Lighthouse staff stayed in touch with him every day to make sure he was safe, and they eventually were able to persuade him to enter a long-term rehab program.

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. When I came here fresh out of rehab, I was in a rough spot, and honestly, I didn’t know if I’d ever pull myself together. But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy.
You guys stuck by me through everything, and because of that, I’ve been able to grow into someone I never thought I could be. I’ve learned so much here, not just about staying sober but about being a better person—someone who’s responsible, who thinks before he acts, and who actually wants to build a real future. That means more than I can put into words.
The staff here is seriously amazing. Mike Jones, Michael Fowler, Frankie Gomez, Bryce Hand, Joshua Stoddard, and Brooke Keels—you guys are the backbone of this place. Each of you brings something different to the table, and together, you create a space where people like me get a real chance at a new life. You’re patient, you understand what we’re going through, and you actually care—which isn’t something you find everywhere.
This place saved my life. That’s not an exaggeration. I wouldn’t be where I am without the support, guidance, and second chances I got here. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Thank you for everything.

To the Staff of Discovery Point Retreat,
I want to take a moment to personally thank each and every one of you who played a part in my journey of healing, growth, and rediscovery during my time at Discovery Point.
To Mrs. Birdie, Bryan, Clay, Michelle, Brian, Ms. Nea, Mrs. Susie, Sara, David, Whitney, Janell, Nick, Tay Anderson, Andrew, and Alister — your support made all the difference.
From the very beginning, you created a space where I felt seen, safe, and understood. You not only provided the nutrition my body needed to heal, but also gave me the peace, love, and therapeutic care my spirit so deeply longed for. Your dedication helped ease my stay and allowed me to focus on what truly mattered: my recovery.
Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every session of care reminded me that I was not alone. You reminded me that healing is possible, that I am worthy, and that a new chapter in life is waiting for me.
Thank you for helping me find the strength within myself again. I will carry what I’ve learned and experienced at Discovery Point with me always.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Brittny Jones

| New Season Treatment Center - Dallas is an opioid addiction treatment center that services Dallas, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Physicians work with patients to develop a custom plan that suits their recovery needs. Clients can expect to be treated with respect and dignity at all times. Individuals can call the facility to schedule an appointm | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I really love this clinic and the staff. I've been going here for about 4 years now and having access to this medication literally saved my life. I'm very grateful for all the staff, especially my counselor, Tessa. She is AMAZING! She's fairly new but since I became her patient she has gone above and beyond to help me in every way. Compared to my last counselor here, the difference is night and day. You can tell she really cares about her patients. I think this place has improved so so much since I first started coming. I think that has to do with Lorenzo becoming the director. I have seen such an improvement with the staff and everything since he took over.
So if you're serious about wanting to get clean and change your life for the better, I'd highly recommend this clinic!!
Edit: it's a year later and while I still think this clinic is good in a lot of ways, I truly feel like they made a mistake by replacing Lorenzo. The new director is "nice" but he hasn't once introduced himself to me or anyone else that I know of. He's very stand offish and just stays in his office. I feel like he's very corporate, so he's nice in that sense, but I don't feel like he's genuine. I recently transferred to a different clinic because of a situation that happened with him.
Now my counselor before I left was wonderful. Daphne was always checking up on me and helping me with anything I needed help with and I felt her genuine care for her patients.
I hope this company will stop making their counselors do so much paperwork, it literally takes away from the bonding time with their patients. That's one thing I've always disliked about this clinic. Also last year I went thru like 3 or 4 counselors. You know how hard it is to open up to someone over and over again? To have them say to you that they won't be going anywhere then weeks later they're gone? The turnover rate is extremely high for a reason and I really hope corporate starts listening to their employees or treating them better.

I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track.
I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year.
BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest...
I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

| Nexus Recovery Center is an addiction treatment facility located in Dallas, Texas, that offers rehab services to women suffering with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis conditions. Oftentimes, addiction can coexist with mental health issues. This is called a co-occurring condition and requires specific treatment methods. This clinic offers | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have struggled with addiction for almost 15 years. I went to many rehabs in Texas & EXPENSIVE ONES in California. My Mom got sick of paying for pricey rehabs that didn’t help. Oh, you can bring your kid to Nexus too! They have a separate dorm for families and pregnant women.
Homeward Bound was the first rehab/detox I went to in Dallas. They USED TO give you Ativan when withdrawing from alcohol or drugs. That's a Godsend and that's the SAFE way to do it. Homeward Bound stopped doing that - they take you off everything, even medication for your heart, blood pressure, antidepressants, even seizures. The new doctors are sadists. DO NOT GO TO Homeward Bound!
Then I discovered Nexus. What a breath of fresh air! Helpful and safe detox - they give you a full week in a separate building before starting you in the dorms. It's weird to say, but I loved it! The doctors, the "techs", the teachers, they even have a program for people who lost their ID'S, birth certificates, etc (as many of us addicts do). They have a program to help you get housing and a job too!
It's like a big family. I actually went twice. You have to be ready to quit. If you truly are ready for real, Nexus is the place. I finally got sober after 15 years. I am now ALMOST 3 YEARS sober and I still talk to people from Nexus.
Parkland's mobile bus also comes so that you can get real help right away, if you have urgent medical issues. As of 2022 they offered MAT, which is Suboxone.
Nexus is so great, there's usually a waiting list, but you can show up in person (go EARLY), they'll interview you and if they think they can help - then you can get in. Anyone reading this..if I can do this, so can you! Be stubborn and don't let addiction win. Do whatever you have to to get here!

I've been visiting this location for a number of years now with my wife who is a US veteran. We've always been treated kindly, been helped and customer service has treated us proper. The staff have always been helpful with finding our destination when we have no clue where to go. Yes, there are large maps located on certain walls if you are near one–they can be helpful. I've seen the staff making sure those that are disabled have a ride and check before they send them on their way. Yes, there are times we've had to wait for whatever reasons, but we aren't complaining—this is part of life. If you believe you're waiting too long, ask a staff member at a help desk that can help with your situation. I have always liked the fact there are PLENTY of places to sit and relax when we are waiting. Drink and snack machines are found all over the first floor in different spots. This location is clean, decent and at times artistic. The day we went for our visit there was a farmers market happening on the first floor for veterans. There are several small shops that sell military souvenirs, hats, flags, snacks, drinks, and other items. The parking can be stressful at times to locate a decent parking spot near the front section, so be aware you might need to park at a distance during certain times of the day. The chapel is easy to locate on the first floor—if you need a place to pray or some quiet time. During our visit, the chapel was being used for a service that was in progress.
Lastly, please DO NOT remove radiology's furniture... 😀

I wouldn’t be here without them. Is it hard, of course! But addiction isn’t something you can get use too. I spent 5 years addicted to the highest milligram OxyContin you can get. After countless attempts to get clean, I dropped out of the first 4 day detox but the second time I was determined to finish it. It was definitely the longest 4 days of my life. We were so pleased and relieved that the intervention for our son went so smoothly.
Adam and CJ are God's angels that came to our rescue. We feel a huge weight has been lifted. We know there is more work to be done but taking this first step to get help was a huge step in a positive direction.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Mantra Recovery is an incredible resource for individuals and families struggling with addiction. Their team is compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to helping people find the path to recovery. One of the things that sets them apart is their expertise in interventions—they understand how difficult it can be to get a loved one to accept help, and they handle these situations with care, respect, and effectiveness. Their intervention process is well-structured, helping families communicate in a way that encourages real change.

Came here for hip replacement surgery and the experience was fantastic. Valet parking, helpful folks checking you in, excellent nurses and technicians all along the way. I cannot express how thankful I am for these people who made me feel at ease and in control of my own care. At no time did I feel pressured and rushed into anything. Past experience at the VA hospital
was quite different. Everything went well, and I will return to UTSW for my medical needs from this point on.

They suggested I go to 30day rehab but I knew I was finished! Having said that it’s been more then ten years now and I’m now a Master Electrician on the verge of opening my own business. So YES it can be done you just have to tell yourself that the pain is just weakness leaving your body and just man up and get through it and everything else will be fine I promise, god will take care of it. Best wishes

Dallas is the 39th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $61705. This is higher than the average cost of $56623 for addiction treatment in Texas and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Dallas vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Dallas. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Dallas that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Dallas.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Dallas, with 18 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Aetna is the 2nd most popular with 17 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 14 drug rehabs.
Dallas has the 245th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Dallas county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Dallas or Dallas county as a whole.
In 2023, Dallas had the 1st highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 8701 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Dallas. All values are per 100,000 population.
