I came from the First Responder Shatterproof program to the Sunset House Recovery / Meadows Counseling Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The transition was integrated and in-sync with the care I received from Shatterproof allowing me to capitalize on my journey efforts to recovery. I was really impressed by how much the Sunset / Meadows staff cares for the well-being of the residents. This isn’t the “big box” type of centers where it’s easy to get lost in the mix. The staff here took the time necessary to develop a solid relationship with me and my goals of getting back on track to a healthy life. The residential areas and clinical services are great and well-suited for those struggling with addiction. The setting really helped me to become more confident in myself. I have gone through recovery attempts in several treatment centers in my struggle for sobriety and I know what it feels like when you’re not a part of your own recovery process. When you are merely going through the motions without realistic assessments or goals. Sunset / Meadows has allowed me to be a part of my process in a healing manner that is well-rounded and thorough. I would 100% recommend this treatment center for continued care of those who are struggling to find a proper program.

I was very impressed with Sunset House and Meadows Recovery Center. I recently received treatment at the facility and I can honestly say that the experience was informative and rehabilitative with my struggles with alcohol addiction. The Center provided a safe comprehensive program where I came to know and more fully appreciate the issues I needed to deal with. They also gave me the necessary tools to have a positive recovery and avoid the pitfalls in life that would lead to relapse. I left Sunset House persuaded and encouraged to forge a healthy path for me and my loved ones. I can’t say enough about how great the experience was.

For ANY ONE who is struggling with a benzodiazepine addiction and/or dependence, in my case it was Klonopin & Xanax being prescribed DAILY by multiple psychiatrists for the past 10 years, GO TO NEW BEGINNINGS and they will help you to get your life back:)! From my very first phone call i was overwhelmed with the support and kindness by the entire staff. It's been a little over a month and i am no longer on the strong benzo's and have had NO withdrawal symptoms. This is a HUGE deal because i have tried to stop taking these drugs before and they have left me in such bad ways because it was too fast of a detox and i had no idea what i was doing, even when i followed they taper suggestions by my OWN DOCTOR:( The staff at NB are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you, they support you, they don't judge you. They use one of THE BEST techniques for benzo detox, The Heather Ashton method, which was founded by a doctor in the UK. They understand the damage the drugs have done to the brain and they encourage a slow, steady recovery to fully heal the brain. Joy, my detox nurse, is one of the kindest people ever and really wants to see people get healed. She checks in with me EVERY day and takes her job very seriously. Robyn, my health coach, has been vital to my recovery as well. Her desire to help is evident and her friendliness is contagious. Peter, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, listens intently and is constantly making sure I am as comfortable as possible. Maribel, the receptionist, is the first face i see when i come to my appointments and she always greets me with a smile. Everybody at NB's CARES! I just began doing the amino acid IV therapy and i would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERY one. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth taking the time to use this incredible treatment. I really cannot say enough great things about this program. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to each appointment and ever since i began the program i haven't thought twice about not continuing. I already feel like I am coming back to life. I cannot wait to meet the "real me" at the end of this. I will be FOREVER thankful to New Beginnings and the blessing they have been to my life.

What might have been a painful, difficult process was made as painless as possible. It is truly life changing. You get out of the experience, and classroom work, what you put in. Pay attention and be honest! This place was terrific and im glad that i made the decision to come here to florida to do iop instead of going back home. This place is what i needed and everyone here and the staff were awesome and super helpful to me when i needed them. Ive learned so much here and if ive ever relapse which i wont i wouldnt hesitate to come back to this treatment center. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The only complaint I had was that when my clothes were washed, some items were bleached and turned pink. Other than that, I had a very positive experience. The staff were kind, accommodating, and made the detox process as comfortable as possible. They offered snacks throughout the day, chef-prepared meals, and even had a food truck available. Smoking and vaping were permitted, and the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking treatment. I would return if I ever needed to, although I’m grateful to have two years clean. I did have to return to treatment once due to insurance coverage and was transferred to Banyan.

Phenomenal place! All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Anthony, client care coordinator is always checking in to make sure you are ok and if anything is needed, helps with a smile! Jason(therapist) is great, more in tuned than most I have seen. . Karen (EMDR) is gifted and am privileged to have been able to work with her. Magic Mike will blow your mind with his knowledge and things he can do. Food is good. Facility is clean. Beds on residential side are comfy.bon detox they are average. Such an amazing group! The only reason I gave 4 stars is this is not the place for residential treatment ....groups are aa ..lecture type no real interaction

My son was a patient two times. A year a half latet sober and thriving. The Family Program offered and facilitated by Miranda and Miss V is excellent. Both are very educated in addiction and how families need to educated so they can help their loved ones. Its a free therapy offered 4 times a week My son has been sober almost 2 years but I keep attending to learn and share strength and hope. This family meeting has gotten me thru some dark times when I felt my son would not recover. Excellent facility and excellent Family Program 💗

This Luxury recovery was amazing the nurses, care, groups, and group facilitators, the food and the cafeteria staff, physical therapist (Charlie) therapist, (Melanie) EMDR (Olivia) therapist, alumni on staff (Ian and John) the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The recreation set up from Pickleball to volleyball to yoga and art. Were all totally impressive. The small touches like the grand piano the guitar and the musical instruments for people to have an outlet are amazing. I have never seen more caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental nursing staff with Nina, Rosemary, Chris, Kim, and Kim, Sharon and Stephanie and Demara And so many more. I love the foundations app. It keeps me in touch with the alumni and events and accountable with daily check ins. Ian for sharing that. It’s a wonderful tool. The Koi pond and waterfall were gorgeous pool And Jacuzzi, relaxing and the walks very refreshing. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks here.

Hi I'm Michael Fulton ive been too coastal detox many times.Over the coarse of two years its a shame as too how many times it was .probably 20 times But it's not the place ,staff,medical or the therapist. I'm a alcoholic and been so for 45 years or more the family thats owns and runs coastal detox are so caring for addicts, alcoholics,and mental health they make sure and only hire people who have the same love,devotion towards the clients. I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

I highly recommend Allure!! They went out of their way to get me tougher and fruit parfaits and a diet of catering that I normally ate. I got an amazing South Florida tan 😜 I got to have acupuncture and chiropractors treatment and yoga I was able to vape and smoke and buy Vapes and cigarettes in house. This is so important in early recovery because one day at a time and stopping everything at once can be rough. The staff was always quick to help and get you whatever you need. The counselors take time to include your family and home support in your recovery and care if you so choose. The speakers that come in are very powerful. Even if you have to go in and out of the group rooms( they aren’t mandatory during detox) you definitely should check them out. I gained insight that I’ll use the rest of my life. I had to give a very special shout out to Ava- the very dedicated care coordinator that kept checking in and helped me get through and continue to navigate this recovery. She is a huge part of how I’ve done this far and has continued to assist in finding more help as I’ve needed or wanted other support out here. Ava- you’re truly an angel Chris- the very best tech ever!! So many more that got me the the day. Thank you Allure -🩷

I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. They spoke the truth which is something I hadn’t heard. I didn’t get sober as soon as I left, but I did soon after and I am so thankful for the experience I had there. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! I’ve learned so much about why I did what I’ve done and she has always been there for me. If you wanna get deep in the Big Book Larry can direct you with any question and answers you have. A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

Beach House Recovery will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly hope the staff knows that It’s where I was given the opportunity to start over and begin building a better life. I completed both the residential program and PHP, and throughout my time there I was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about my recovery. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I also formed friendships with staff and fellow alumni that have lasted well beyond treatment. The program gave me structure, accountability, and hope. The facility was clean, the food was excellent, and every part of the experience showed that they truly care about the people who walk through their doors. I’m incredibly grateful for everything Beach House Recovery has done for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a place where recovery is taken seriously and people are treated with dignity and respect. Out of all the positive changes I’ve been able to make in my new life choosing Beach House was the smartest one!

I came to Lighthouse last year with nothing—no Social Security card, no driver’s license, and everything I owned fit in a backpack. I went through the full program (PHP and IOP) and left with 9 months sober. Lighthouse may not be the biggest facility, but that’s actually what made my experience so impactful. I never felt like just a number. The staff genuinely cared, and you can feel that from the moment you walk in. There’s real support and real love there. By the time I completed the program, I was a completely different person. They didn’t just help me get sober—they helped me transition back into real life. Today, I have over a year sober, my own place, and stability I didn’t have before. Lighthouse also helped me take care of important life things like getting my Social Security card, driver’s license, and even setting me up for Hep C treatment. That kind of support goes way beyond what most places offer. Everyone there—from the owner to the techs—is involved and accessible, which says a lot about how the place is run. I highly recommend Lighthouse to anyone serious about getting their life back, especially being located in Delray Beach, the recovery capital.

I have been attending beachcomber for several months now. It has been life altering for myself. Everyone on the staff from the front desk to the therapist to the drivers and ownership our first rate amazing personalized treatment not just in groups but on a daily basis The staff is available to you at any time and truly care about every individual that attends. Beachcomber is a life-changing place. I'm currently doing IOP and have loved the groups and all the care that has been given to me. Ty is a great facilitator with lots of knowledge. Michael Flood is a great guy who showed me the ropes of this program. I love how Michael is active in the program daily and checks in with us every chance he can. The staff truly makes this place such a great place.

When I first left my family to go to Singer Island I was terrified! I had never been to a treatment facility to do inpatient treatment. They really made it easier for me every step of the way. They handled my flight and communication with my boss, dealt with my insurance, and my parole officer as I was on felony parole. They made sure I got calls home to my family. And everyone there truly cared about who I was as a person and strived to bring out the qualities that I had started hiding. When I went to Singer island I had been on the verge of suicide. I was tired of fighting my addiction alone and hurting the ones I loved! I made the decision to try one more time and threw my self into the program. I surrendered all because I knew this was my last chance! I am so grateful I made that decision! I hope you do too. You deserve it! Your family deserves! Amd life can be beautiful again! I am now back home with my family. Still sober. And living life with my kids who are so very proud that I chose to make a change for myself and for them! My experience at Singer Island Health was truly life changing. What helped me the most was the LIV program. It showed me that sobriety doesn’t mean life stops being fun — it actually taught me how to genuinely enjoy life sober again through activities, challenges, and experiences that pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. I also loved that the program is backed by science and focuses on building real habits and mindset changes for long-term recovery. The techs were absolutely amazing as well. They were supportive, caring, understanding, and made a huge difference in my experience there. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they help. I’m incredibly grateful for everything I learned during my time there. Only negative part of my experience was going to their PHP / IOP program after detox and residential, crystal lake. The facility as a whole just needs work but appears they are making steps towards improvement. Thank you Troy and the BHT staff at singer island, a truly life changing and unforgettable experience.

I love Singer Island & Crystal Lake!! The staff are very caring, courteous, and helpful. The therapists are amazing and can see into your soul!! The insight into myself, my addiction, and my family dynamic is incredibly spot on! The coping tools and psycho-education are truly helpful and give me great hope to be successful upon returning home. The LIV program is BEYOND therapeutic and helps to build a community of clients that thrive together! I have made life-long friends with people that are committed to healing & helping each other. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff & clients I have encountered on my journey. I LOVE YOU ALL & amazingly grateful & blessed to have lived this experience. Admittedly I am sad to be leaving rehab and how many people say that?!! :-)
