I cannot express to you how grateful I am for her. She has been with me through every step and aspect of where Im at in my recovery. She is a GODSEND! She actually CARES! I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they ve gotten under new management, I don t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.

I have also deal with Melissa from mental health that has taken the time to follow up with me to make sure I got what I needed. Michelle at Harsha Behavioral Center has been amazing through this tough time with my 16yr old son. She has guided me through this process, and is helping getting my son the long term treatment that he needs. She went above and beyond to communicate with me, working with my schedule, transportation needs etc. Any hurdle we have had she has helped us overcome it. I have been a client with Heritage for over 15 years. As many people know, sometimes it takes a person several rehab stays before getting it right and being able to remain clean and sober. After many years of heroin addiction, and multiple attempts at sobriety with several relapses along the way, I can honestly say I owe my life to Heritage Behavioral Health. Even though I was a returning client more times than I want to admit, I never felt judged for returning. The staff truly care about the clients and go out of their way to help in any way possible. I gained different tools and coping mechanisms from each and every counselor, nurse, tech, and group that I attended. I can't put into words the gratitude I feel for having the opportunity to attend rehab at Heritage and get my life back in order. Just a few years ago I was homeless on the streets, but now I have a home, a car, a full time job, I have my children back, and I'm going to school to become a counselor. Thank you Heritage!

I recently sat down with Karli at Accent counseling for an evaluation. She is very knowledgeable, and understanding of the law surrounding DUI in IL. Simply put, it was not what I was expecting walking in the door. Dealing with a DUI is stressful enough to start. Karli made sure that the experience I had there was anything but that. I'd highly recommend Accent counseling if you are in a similar scenario and unsure what your options are. Five stars for them.
