I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they ve gotten under new management, I don t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.

Michelle at Harsha Behavioral Center has been amazing through this tough time with my 16yr old son. She has guided me through this process, and is helping getting my son the long term treatment that he needs. She went above and beyond to communicate with me, working with my schedule, transportation needs etc. Any hurdle we have had she has helped us overcome it. We are still currently working with Harsha Behavioral Center until the goal is met to reach his long term needs. He always talks about how nice everyone is at Harsha, and how safe he feels there. This is by far the best detox place for at least alcohol. I have been in and out of centers like this since I was in my early 20s. I am 38 now. I went here before I went to Gateway rehab in Springfield. Made the withdrawals almost non existent. Program is Only 3 days!!! Staff is amazing!!! They give you the right medication to ease ALLLL the pain. The other places do not give IV Ativan like this place if you need it. Last time I just did oral Ativan. If your thinking about it. It s 3 days of your life to be sober or at least a chance to stay sober without the pain and agony that comes with WITHDRAWALS!!!! I am a professional alcoholic. You get your own room and you sleep most of the time. This place is like a little secret. Ativan has been a miracle medication to me. Also helps with your anxiety.
