This place is a great place to go if you need help with substance abuse or just mental health as well. When I went, I unfortunately didn’t take it very seriously but the people that did take it seriously have been very successful. Kyler was a great mentor while I was there, and he along with the other techs all seem very genuine and honest and willing to help in anyway they can. I am extremely grateful for this place, as well as Kyler especially. I don’t think I would be where I am today without him as a mentor.

A customer satisfaction coordinator reached out to me regarding a concern and did not follow through. I called 4 times starting a few months ago and have not received a return call. My messages were courteous. My issue was never addressed and I have been repeatedly ignored. I’m disappointed that the person who handles issues is not addressing my recent 2 issues. With the exception of my last two concerns I have been pleased with my care, which is why my recent experiences have been disappointing. Customer care extends beyond the facility. I am very disappointed.

I have been to this center 3 times in my past throughout my addiction. I can say with experience that this place is the real deal .A lot of places will say it s about recovery. But you can see and feel the changes people are going through. And miracles DO HAPPEN! I just wanna say AMEN, thank you Jesus for keeping the doors open to this center all these years. Boca Recovery was my saving grace. I was given the ultimatum that if couldn’t get clean from alcohol and marijuana, then I would be removed from my children’s lives and have no chance of getting custody back. As an addict I just didn’t see me able to do this alone. I Google searched top rehabs in Oklahoma, and came across Boca Recovery. When I spoke to a recruiter they informed me that the facility was not in Oklahoma, but he told me not to panic. If I was ready, then all I had to worry about was making sure I was going to board on my scheduled flight. It seemed too good to be true, but sure enough they delivered and made sure I made it there safely. As soon as I stepped foot into the facility the staff treated me with the best care. Not only that, but the facility was very well maintained. You’re seen by a nurse the first day, and they set you up with everything you’ll need for the detox process. All therapist and case managers work together to build the best treatment plan that suits the patient/client. Not to mention the food they provide is amazing! Thanks to Boca recovery I have passed every UA since I’ve been out, and am able to be involved in my children’s lives again. Before arriving to Boca I didn’t see any of this being possible. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction!

BOCA saved my life. It offered me safety, stability, and daily expectations that I needed desperately. From the first day of entering the program the techs were welcoming, understanding, and supportive which eased my anxiety and allowed me to relax. The clinical staff I worked with is amazing and they helped me begin to understand why I needed to be there and pushed me to see that I also deserved happiness and peace of mind. The community that was created during my stay is one that is with me for life. Lifelong friendships have been created and we stay in touch to this day which has been critical for my sense of belonging. Having used their facilities for our Union members and for a family member, the counselors are caring, responsive, and communicate very well on a treatment plan and objectives & goals. Ms Tori awesome!!!!! The group meetings and accountability for each other in treatment works in a great atmosphere. If i could give 1000 stars i would! I couldn't recommend symetria enough. Everyone there is absolutely AMAZING! From the front staff (esp Ms Shuranda who keeps everything running smoothly), to the wonderful counselors, the medical directors (shout out to Ms Cynthia), my knowledgeable counselor Ms Beth, the beautiful nurses aka angels in scrubs (Kat, Gizelle and Mel).. you are surrounded by nothing but complete love, support and understanding. There is never a moment you feel judged or unsupported. Everyone has been there for me in more ways than I can count and if it wasn't for the staff I don't think I would be where I am today. You aren't treated like a number or just another patient. You are treated like FAMILY! Choosing symetria to be the first place I went to help be recover was the best decision I ever made and I'm forever grateful for everyone there who has been there for me since day one. My PHP experience has been everything and more than I could ask for. The groups are educational and meet all of my needs. Erin, my therapist understands exactly how I feel and meets me where I am. Solleys Place is an excellent establishment to work with while on your sober journey. Their staff and management are always friendly, fair and willing to work with you. The doctor is also an amazing person, Vietnam veteran and has compassion where a lot of doctors do not. I would highly recommend using them for your continued IOP care. Just remember you have to put in the work to make it work, being sober is a process but it is possible.

Yesterday I had a very professional comprehensive appointment with Dr. Amanjot Kaur and Medical Student Yunsu Yu. I was extremely impressed with the professional, very comprehensive examination and by the care and concern shown by these superb professionals. This was my first visit to the JB Podiatry clinic, and I found the care and treatment to be more thorough and educational than my previous visits to non-VA related podiatrists. Dr. Kaur gave me a sensitivity test to ascertain whether I had feeling in my feet -- a test never given to me by a private podiatrist! I now realize that I have to carefully inspect my feet regularly for any cuts/wounds because I may not feel the pain. Especially important for me because I have two hip devices and cannot afford any type of infection. Thank you again Dr. Kaur, and Medical Student Yunsu Yu for your comprehensive care. Thank you all at JB for caring for us senior veterans!

Retired US Marine here. Must say that the treatment I received at the Jessie Brown, VA on 07 March 2025 was outstanding! In town to attend a funeral. Fell down the stairs rupturing my quadricep muscle. Hospital immediately took me in! Everyone was awesome! Going to names who should receive a special thanks on behalf of the Ivy family. Everyone I came in contact with were totally professional, courteous and just pleasant. Again. Let me just say I was a patient at Medmark for years and above everything no matter what because they open at 4:45 AM says it all. They generally want to meet everyday people s needs to live a normal life.In and out the door before 5am to do what you need to do w your life. Try and find another clinic that does that for you. You won t. Working men and women this your clinic. Just no weed. Sorry.

I do not typically do these reviews however I felt very strongly I needed to. I have been in the program for over 7 years. The program honestly saved my life after trying several other things. My addiction became like most had back problems and my doctors were very free to prescribe the opioids and benzodiazepines. Xanax was actually the worst for me hospitalized for over 10 days due to all the seizures. Anyways the nurses Yolanda Jackie Val are sweethearts and have never judged me once. Yolanda is the one person who always tells me she is proud of me I don t even hear that from family. Kim who runs front desk is also great. In my experience I have had around 6 counselors and sorry to say this is the downfall here. I don t know if they are overworked micromanaged or just don t care but I have had to go elsewhere for my counseling. I have promise for my new counselor April who is new to this location. Since starting she has been on top on my case not letting anything slide. She gets accomplished what the 5 others took months to do and I appreciate that. Non judgmental follow-up and just caring she accomplishes where most can t and this is what keeps me clean and alive and I thank her for that more than I can say. Doctor is a different story for a different day I will just say to the women ask that a third person be in the room. That s all!

I kept telling myself I didn t need help, that I wasn t addicted. I was wrong for a long time. I was addicted and my addiction was ruining and running my life. When I finally realized I needed real help, I finally went here and it saved my life. Great counselors, great staff, and a lot of people just looking to get help. I really, really recommend anyone who s ready to finally get help come here. (By the way, they didn t accept Medicare when I went there. That was 5 years ago. I m currently going to Porter Starke Services in Valparaiso, Indiana because they accept Medicare there)
