Edit: Dr. Cordero-Torres is the medical director and he also oversees the Broward Health psych ward. He makes MAJOR cash. When I had primo insurance he made sure to take advantage of it.

While my last procedure was the worst of them (full hysterectomy post op care wise) & that is what this previous review (below) review was originally about….
I’d like to redeem them as I went back for breast cancer reconstructive surgery 11/18 & the lead RN came in to assure me that they have made changes in post-op care. They did, I wasn’t rushed to wake up shaking uncontrollably, chattering jaw, or vomiting & they gave me an oxygen mask right away. I know alot of people get sick coming out, but they finally realized I was a lot more than just that & they didn’t brush it off this time. It was a much smoother recovery room & sent home aware of what was happening & without a puke bag.
June 2025: I want to start off with I’ve had multiple surgeries and treatments at Jupiter for miscarriages, I birthed my kids, and went through breast cancer all with amazing care!… I recently had a full hysterectomy in their new building outpatient and had THE ABSOLUTE WORST POST OP CARE EVER! I am known to have trouble coming out of anesthesia: they couldn’t boot me out fast enough. My husband said it was awful, my body shaking, trembling uncontrollably, my jaw wouldn’t stop chattering, I was being forced to wake up with a smell stick, while being put on oxygen because I wasn’t breathing and dry heaving- let’s not forget the extreme pain I was in from just coming out of a major procedure. With all of this just 2 hours after my surgery they couldn’t shove me in wheelchair fast enough with a puke bag and yelling at me to keep my eyes open. When I spoke to my surgeon about this, she was LIVID. It takes a 2 second phone call or text from a nurse to update on a patients condition. NO ONE told my Dr they kicked me out in that shape just 2 hours after a procedure. I was hit with it at all and had the worst few days following that.

I was worried about the decision to bring my 17 years old to Sandy pines hospital after reading so many negative reviews but my son needed the help l decided l Will give it a try .That was the best decision l made to save my son ‘s Life . He was there for only 2 months and 5 days , he got discharged few days ago , Within 24 Hours after my son got home l noticed a huge positive difference on his behaviors, he’s more focus, follow instructions without any issues, able to carry a normal conversation with his siblings . As a healthcare provider this speaks volume of the care they provide to my son because he was a complete mess when l took him in.l’m sending a special thanks to my son therapist Mr Geoffrey who was very patient with us and answered my questions when l was worried, to nurse Myriam, Marie and all the staff on the manatee unit respect and love for taking care of my son 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

My daughter was here for 5 months, and although there were things I didn't like, it was not a fully bad experience for her. In the 5 months that she has been there, she has made significant improvements towards her mental health. She is thankful for the time she spent here, and truly feels like it helped her.
It's hard to get a hold of the unit sometimes, and according to my daughter they watched horror movies like Split and Terrifer, which I think is not okay for a bunch of children going through mental health issues.
Overall, it was a good experience for us and our daughter.

All In Solutions was the best decision I’ve made in my life. So from the first day I arrived I was made to feel very welcomed. They made sure I ate and was very comfortable. The staff was amazing, the techs are very understanding and relatable people. Loved all the nurses and providers. My case worker got so much done for me during my Stay and my therapist really helped me figure out my triggers and trauma and I loved the facilitators as well. Even after I left the staff still check on me till this day to make sure I’m alright. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re serious about recovery.

The staff at CWC is what has them standing apart from the rest. I found confidence, love, discipline, and structure while there. I found my voice. I did the work but the staff at CWC had my back, guided me, and even held my hand through it all. I needed that at the time and they knew that. Miss Linda, Paul, Jennifer and so many of CWC staff (way too many to name, I would be here all night) went above and beyond their job descriptions to help make me the man I am today. Thank you sincerely CWC and Jason, you guys will always have a special place in my heart. If you want what I was given you're gonna have to search long and hard before you find another treatment center like this one.

Comprehensive Wellness Center truly changed my life. When I arrived, I was struggling and unsure if recovery was even possible, but the staff made me feel supported, respected, and understood from day one. I participated in the 30 day inpatient program. It was excellent, the therapists and classes were well organized, and the food was great. I have been to treatment for addiction and mental health many times before, however beachside was different. I am very big on physical activity, I find it to be extremely therapeutic when getting sober and mentally clear. Beachside had more amenities than any other facility I had been too. Not only the gym, pickleball court and track but they had the best way to end the day relaxing by the pool.
I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it were not for a staff member, Cali who truly changed my life and made me feel seen more than ever before. Thank you beachside and even more so, thank you Cali for all that you’ve done and continue to do 💚

The alumni group ran by Roger is the most impactful group out of them all. I been out of the facility for months now and he still keeps in touch with me to make sure am doing ok and to see if I have anything that’s on my mind or anything at all I need help with. When you talk about a man with a heart of gold. The person that comes to mind is Roger. I have never been one to open up to people or to even trust people but with this group it’s different. You ever ran into a group and be like maannn I feel like I belong here or like dang I feel like we’ve know each other forever. This is that group!!! We have outings and group chats and we just focus on making everyone feel welcome because we are all special and chosen and deserve better. S/o to Roger. A big guy with a soft heart. I attended Hanley for 60 days and attended Intensive Outpatient for one month. This was my second rodeo. I was a Prosecutor and Drug Court General Magistrate (Judicial) for 25 years and spoke at every facility you could imagine. Actively involved. I took the fall myself (go figure) and put myself into Hanley because I was well aware of their reputation. It was the best and most holistic experience of my life. Great facility etc. BUT that is not what matters. The 12 Step Concept they utilize along with dual quality education and therapies saved my life. I live by the Steps, follow what they inspired me to do and I am reborn. No scintilla of a desire for a drink. Actively involved with them still and always will be if they will have me!

This place has changed my life. I came in literally at rock bottom and they built me back up one day at a time. From every single tech to the cleaning people truly care for your recovery. My experience is different...my son is clean and sober 1 year tomorrow by the grace of God because of Genesis house.The staff here is absolutely amazing and I'm going to tell you the first couple of days were rough he was leaving every day and wouldn't follow the rules, but they never gave up on him 💙 I'm beyond grateful after 15 years of addiction I have my son back and he has his. I'm forever grateful and forever one day at a time!

When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! I’ve learned so much about why I did what I’ve done and she has always been there for me. If you wanna get deep in the Big Book Larry can direct you with any question and answers you have. My experience at Archstone truly changed my life. From the very beginning, I felt supported, seen, and pushed to become better in ways I didn’t even know I needed. One of the biggest highlights for me has been Danny’s groups, especially his workout groups on Wednesdays. He goes above and beyond every single time, not just helping us push through the physical side of things, but also creating a safe space where we can open up about the underlying issues we carry. He finds a way to blend mental and physical strength in a way that really sticks with you. Sully’s leadership deserves just as much recognition. His patience and steady presence make such a difference, especially on the hard days. He leads with understanding and consistency, and you can feel that he genuinely cares about every single client here. Ms. Tonya’s groups have also been incredibly impactful. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure clients utilize the necessary tools and resources they will need when they return to the real world, and she never stops advocating for what is best for them. Lamoriss also plays a huge role in the structure and success of this place. He handles everything by the book and makes sure everyone stays on track and does what is best for their recovery, even when it is tough. And lastly, Devyn’s classes have been my personal favorite, especially his philosophy based topics. He has a way of presenting ideas that really gets your mind working and gives you new perspectives and food for thought that stay with you long after the class is over. Overall, Archstone isn’t just a rehab, it is a place that truly invests in your growth, your healing, and your future. I will always be grateful for what this place and these people have done for me.
