Dr.Warren is the most caring MAT provider I've ever had the privilege of meeting. Out of hundreds of clients he remembers my name and goes out of his way to greet me whenever around and make sure he is accessible to each and every one of his patients to answer questions, encourage and build the best individual recovery plan for everyone possible. But let's not forget about his wonderful staff of amazing counselors, nurses and receptionists that go above and beyond to not only do the best job but build relationships with each and every patient. I've been to multiple MAT treatment centers but Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center is by far the in the business! If your looking for a place to set yourself up for successful long term sobriety then look no further, this is the place you'll call home... :)

Commenting as a family member to a patient of PFH, currently! *I had a friend who also went to pfh to get clean about 7 years ago and the change in this place (from 7 years ago to now) is nothing but amazing! The staff are ALL caring, loving, people who want nothing but the best for everyone who steps foot inside this building!* I would suggest before arriving for your stay that you call and verify what items you are able to bring and what items aren't accepted. Ask about possible medications and scripts your doctor may have you on - they do give some medications and you are even allowed to have some items such as hygiene and OTC meds such as Tylenol. I'd recommend having some cash or change as well, they have a vending machine you'll get access to. You might also get to go on a day trip to Walmart, so if you'd like to spend some money at Walmart - you'll need to bring some! 🤍The last thing I can truly suggest is.... arrive with an open mind and an open heart to allow these loving people to help you become a better/healthier version of yourself. Your loved one deserves their love/help to get clean and live a life they are proud of! Get your loved ones back - get with PFH to secure their bed! It'll be worth it 🫶🏼

I really appreciate the amount of time and effort the counselors and BHTS apply to each individual client!!!! I believe this to be a adequate program if the client is willing to put in as much as the staff do. Thank you PFH :)

They’re amazing staff and people here at CWS 26’. I loved and enjoyed both shifts morning and night, including Patsy & Leroy the GOAT! Ms.Ariel was always super helpful alongside DANA!!! Love a lot of the staff who were informative like nurses such as April and Lilian! Thanks to everyone who supported me in stabilizing <3 😊 🙏 Low regards to the Dr I had, Moktari- didn’t feel listened too or treated as the primary concern in my own healing journey and case management was poor- very unprofessional. Thank you to all the techs and nurses who helped clarify where the doctor lacked :) <3 xoxo love you guys!!!

This is a good option if you need help with addiction recovery. My feedback about the 28 day program is that this is a serious, vigorous road to get better. Mirror also guides clients on to the next step, which is often an Oxford House or other sober living plan. They'll help with vocational rehab and making contacts in the community-like churches and alumni willing to help. My counselor Jamie is the best but all the staff are devoted to clients. The other clients in recovery will be all sorts with different backgrounds. You will make friends with as many or as few sober people as you like! Family and friends visitation is once a week. An optional 2 mile jog and weights are available for exercise. The food is plentiful and you will have a chore. Chores are.loke helping in the kitchen or mopping floors, etc. Call ahead for a bed as there is sometimes a wait-list. Don't expect easy and fun, and expect lots of AA/NA meetings. But there's plenty of downtime for TV, reading and an occasional nap. This and Velejo are probably your best 2 options for addiction recovery in Topeka.

I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. In fact I recall a conversation with Nick asking if I could stay for another 30 days. Thank you Mirror Topeka for saving my life.

I can say this place did miracles for my recovery. They are amazing and all deserve a raise.

Dr Hon and Yahara are wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. I enjoyed my hospital stay here as much as one can, given the circumstances 10/10. Food is also not bad and can confirm they’re working on renovations

Was here multiple times for psych and once for alcoholism. I am above middle class, have a degree, and just have bipolar disorder from genetics. The people complaining don’t know how good it is compared to other facilities. The place is clean, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. Please remember the people reviewing this place have issues and can be handful. Most people who have problems at places like this, unless it is filthy, create their own problems.

One of the best facilities I have ever stayed at. Staff is awesome. The best doctors. If I ever have to make a choice to go into a inpatient facility this is the number one choice I would recommend and I've been to 17 different facilities in my life

Having worked closely as an Architect with the facility administrators, volunteers, and some of the medical professionals it is clear they have the wellness of the 'patients' as the primary focus. The decision to invest in the betterment of the community through the building of the facility, the staffing, and the great accommodation to help the wide range of situations that can present themselves in a detoxification environment points to the sincere effort to help those in need or dealing with the personal demons of dependency.

I have gone through detox here on several occasions. The staff is very professional, while being humble and compassionate at the same time.

I've been going here for years now. The reception staff is almost always very respectful, and if they are "off" its likely because they are busy. The doctors take time to ask questions and understand. The Nurses (especially Mariam) are very kind and thoughtful. I haven't really had any poor experiences here!

I’ve had a very positive experience here so far. While I was hoping to access additional services, it appears they are currently understaffed. However, I appreciated that one of the front desk staff was especially helpful—she provided me with a list of alternative resources in the area that offer the services I’m seeking.

I am so happy I was referred to the guidance center. After suffering several crises, I didn’t know where to turn and ended up inpatient . After coming out of inpatient care, I was so nervous to go back to daily life. I was referred to the Giidence Center and the team that I have working with me are amazing! Shout out to Ellie, Mindy and Sara ❤️ The team is always kind caring and supportive answers all my questions and helps me find additional supports when I need it. I can’t say enough about this place!

I'm giving a 5 star not to the guidance center but to a few that has made such a impact in my life to my old therapist Dakota and to my recent case manager and employment specialist Camryn Richard's she's outstanding and the best in performance all in one, i can't ask for any better thank you for being part of my well being.

My daughter has 3 years of sobriety and our relationship and entire family dynamic has been changed thanks to The Crossroads Program. She has graduated from the program and is working and preparing to go to college.

Crossroads is a program based on the principles of the 12 steps adapted from AA. You will hear talk of miracles, because we do witness miraculous changes in the attitudes and practices of our members (both young people & parents). There is a miracle for you here too!

This is the place to go! It is a place where kids feel like they can be respected and treated like a human, not a problem. The level of positivity here allows them to be themselves and buy in to a way of life that works and gives them success. They get to learn how to be in this world and know their worth and value. Not only is it life-changing for the kids, but for the parents as well. The whole family stands to level up when going to Crossroads!

The BIP program led by Dana is fantastic therapy, well worth the time and money to work on yourself. Really helped me get back on track mentally

Dana will say she just helped me, but honestly her group saved me from myself. It's hard work probably the hardest work, but it saved me.

I have ADHD, and there’s currently a stimulant shortage for what I normally take. I called multiple pharmacies in the area and they didn’t have any of the doses I’d normally take in stock. My coworker mentioned this place to me, so I got a lower dosage of my prescription sent to them. I called the pharmacy to let them know, and the man that answered was very polite and knowledgeable about the stimulant shortage, and even gave me information on my drug’s expiring patent that I didn’t know about. He was able to get it filled that same day, however I had issues with my prescription insurance wanting to do a preauthorization for a lower dose. This same pharmacist that helped me on the phone was very empathetic and talked me through all of the necessary steps of insurance pre authorization. He contacted my prescription insurance for me and even advocated for me on the phone with them, attempting by to bypass the unnecessary preauthorization (it was the same drug I’ve been on for over 12 years, just a slightly lower dosage, so the preauthorization for it during this stimulant shortage was very arbitrary and unnecessary.) He was very polite to me on the phone, in person, and on the phone with my insurance. This facility’s pharmacy is the only pharmacy in my area that still has the dosages of the drug that I can take. There is never a line in the pharmacy, the communication with their patients and each other is remarkable. Normally I go to CVS for my psychiatric medications, but I think I’ll just go here from now on. They are very quick to answer the phone and get prescriptions filled, and they clearly do their absolute best to advocate for their patients. Thank you Compass Health pharmacy, you saved me in the middle of this stimulant shortage, and you made the whole frustrating process of insurance preauthorization much easier for a patient like me with ADHD that gets easily overwhelmed and impatient with setbacks. You guys are awesome 💜
