I had a good experience during my stay at the hospital. I think I was on unit 4000. The people there helped me a lot and treated me with kindness. Brittany, the Recreation Therapist, was very nice, patient, and friendly. She even helped me get some clothes when I didn't have any and I really appreciated that. She always had a smile on her face and made me feel comfortable. I don't remember the name of the patient advocate, but she was friendly too. She was always smiling and willing to help. Both of them made my stay better, and I am thankful for everything they did for me.

Idk what all these people’s problems are with the 1 star but I’ve been going here for years and have never had a problem. Staff at the front desk are always pretty nice. The only thing I’ve had an issue with was sometimes the appointments run late so I’m waiting in the waiting room a while but I feel like that’s how doctor appointments can be with mental health anything can come up. But ever since coming here it’s been the easiest to get my medications that I need on the daily and they do seem to care unlike what some people have said. The lady that left a review about them “calling” ICE, maybe you should have proper documentation and you wouldn’t feel that way.

At this place, no one cares if you get your meds on time or not. The only good thing here is about three nurses, who do all they can, but their work is not enough, they do as much as they can. This center is a joke, the worst clinic ever!

Avenues in Metairie was top notch! I was PHP while at my stay in Metairie- the apartment living was #1, as well as the treatment and staff. "Track B taught me how to "feel" again and what to expect beyond just recovery/rehab. The groups offered insight into a new "way of life!" I give kiddos to Ms.Donna and Steve! Wonderful staff, they were very special for me, in all the aspects they were very good. I think that I will go to miss them when the program ends. The counselors, managers, doctors, nurses and clinical staff were top notch and cared about every patient individually. If you are planning to visit them don't hesitate they will steer you in the right direction.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was so attentive, polite, concerned, helpful, and their bedside manners were Impeccable. If I could score them higher than a 10, I would. And this includes the radiologist that took my x-rays, and CAT scan. He was absolutely FABULOUS. I even nominated my nurse, Mark, for the "Daisy Award"

Springfield Wellness Center is the first step that God led me to discard my old ways and build a new way of life. I have complete Gratitude for this clinic and more importantly Dr. Paula and the whole staff at Springfield Wellness Center. Nurse Angela is exactly what her name means an angel and messenger from God and a great nurse too. All the nurses fit this same description they were comforting, extremely attenuative, and calmed my anxiety as well as make me smile which was not easy for me at that point in my life. I entered the treatment close to death and saturated with Alcohol I left 10 days clean. I did follow with IOP treatment and embraced the AA fellowship program and today by the Grace of God and his will I am 4 months and 10 days clean of any harmful substance. Springfield Wellness Center is a special place, the grounds, facilities, food, NAD treatment, most of all the people that are there. I am blessed to have started my new journey there and highly recommend their program of care. I hope that I will be able to revisit in the future for NAD boosters.

I can not say enough about Springfield wellness center..... Starting with the help, and guidance prior to coming to the facility, followed by the time at the facility during the treatment. The staff makes you feel like family, their open arms make this experience be on a level no other places offer. It welcomes the whole family, with support, and years of wisdom each person has. It feels like a home away from home. A support system that will always be there for all. I could go on and on. It is a 5 plus star I can guarantee you.

Palmetto is the best treatment center in Louisiana by far. Stuart, Jerry, Joseph and Beck have certainly changed my life for the better. I would say that they gave me a life. A second chance! While the accommodation itself isn't ideal, I have to recommend the ED/TR specialty unit based on its staff. They were so kind and patient with me throughout my entire stay of a whopping 29 days. Special thank you to Cody, Mika, Jameicka, Rose, Abbie, Ray, Tiana, Amie, Ashley, Armani, Dr. Peterson, the dietitians, and all of the therapists I interacted with. I think the major issues with this facility are the result of some systemic issues, unfortunately beyond the control of most. I was in the ED program and there was a definite lack of ED-specific professionals during meal groups, which creates a situation where the patients need to take additional accountability to ensure their meal plan is accurately followed. If more techs could be trained on how these disorders function, and how to better support individuals during mealtimes, I think this program would benefit greatly. In addition, the food and accommodation need some serious upgrades, particularly with cleanliness and air conditioning issues (the AC went out multiple times during my stay). The program can definitely be beneficial if you put in the work!

I was in the specialty here and overall it was a good experience, the staff for the most part was amazing. However I did get a pinched nerve from the terrible mattresses which caused me severe pain to the point where I was in tears, and I felt very dismissed. I felt like my pain wasn't taken seriously which is disappointing because its been about two weeks and I am still suffering and will most likely need physical therapy because of it. The nurse even dismissed me when I suggested that it was nerve related saying "there are no nerves in that part of your body". Aside from that I had a very beneficial experience here and really have no other complaints which is why I'm so disappointed by the way the whole situation was handled. Its hard to be present in therapy when you're in 8/10 pain.

Defense mechanism, beliefs, anxiety, balance, compromising, productive, aggressiveness, issues, problem's,bad or good behaviors every day you wore them up your sleeves,and more and you wore them well but when I learned who you were was hard for me to believe,by any means necessary lord knows no surrender know retreat was your beliefs no games or schemes, now I see why other called you the true Ms.Recovery,I'm no M.L.K.but the day I walked through them doors I had a dream,you get what you put in when you work hard for something you develop a different kinda attachment for it just like your disease, and the gift of recovery is what you wanted all of us to achieve,to join the list of greatness without compromising who we are and what we have build an defense mechanism only we could see,we are who we are until we walk through that front door to leave the bullshit in the streets,to be productive in ur own recovery,all the streets and the anxiety of relationships and all the other behaviors that's bad must be released,on the contrary say an do what you mean, problem solving and everything in-between, excessive conversation on or off the phone makes being there harder at times it may seem, you was always full of data your Internet is always on,just a reminder you came there by yourself try to leave alone,find your own zone,I'm not talking about cox but after awhile it felt good calling home,you gave me this and I can go on an on these 10 effects and a few months later I'm still clean and I wrote this in your honor,to me your avenues black mamba so I will end this with you was my blessing in there and Thank you Ms.Donna So mite not understand this and the wording,that's ok but if you are anything like I was this is the place you need to be, when you go be open minded the staff is the best from the front desk all the way through they are showing you a different perspective of living,I'm a souechef but they have the recipe to recovery...one day you will have to get serious about you....

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. The East Jeff Care Clinic is one of my family’s favorite places to go to since 2017 simply because we are taken care really well starting from the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, and the lab technicians, and also the pharmacists. The receptionists are very helpful when it comes to providing information regarding sliding scale for paying not so much money for doctors and medicines if you have low income. They also provide you the phone numbers to reach Medicaid, where you couldn’t find that nowhere else easily. The Doctors and nurses really know what they’re doing proven that my mom, wife, and I still survive because of the effort to advise us on what to do with our health and which medicines really work for us. If something is not right, they’re going to adjust our medicines ASAP and finally the medicines really react well to our immune body systems. In case of an emergency, they are always available welcoming us by walk in. They also have a pharmacy called Genoa Pharmacy which is inside the clinic. They make it so easy to get the medicines either by short waiting, calling us if the medicines are ready to be picked up, or sending it to our house. There’s also a lab to do blood work to check everything about your health and organs. There’s also a case worker to get you a job and also information as a medium to provide you with quality care services with drivers picking you in and out of the location regarding mental health. The clinic is also so clean and comfy and also there’s a security to protecting you from all sorts of bad stuff.

While enduring a brutal chemotherapy and radiation treatment protocol for Stage 4 cancer and with my wife pregnant and the birth of our third son imminent my evil mother in law used this as an opportunity to steal our kids with outrageous lies to DCFS and to get our kids back we both were ordered into IOP for Substance Abuse regardless of what I was found to have was prescribed by my cancer Dr. I wasn't real hopeful for this government funded agency but I couldn't have been more wrong Our counselor, Ms Pearl Watson facilitated a diverse class of court or job ordered clients with a firm hand that demanded accountability but rewarded those in compliance . with compassion, empathy and a deep knowledge of tools to access for sustainable recovery. The Clinical director , I believe named Tianna had designed a treatment plan that was easy to learn, and encouraged us to reveal things about our behavior that didn't seem apparent at the time.These people were a rare mix of empathy and creative genius that make me grateful for the program and i will be eternally grateful for the impact they made in my life and the others I consider family forever. Great place that makes me sad to leave.

PLTC is a good program it gives us a chance to leave our homes. We go to a group and talk about life and we get counseling with our peers. The food that they serve is good. I also love that in group we get to celebrate holidays.

Kim, Dionne, Monique, Michelle, Yvonne and Yasmin go above and beyond. My elder loved one has had issues with being suicidal and violent. The staff handled it with grace and understanding. When my loved one was threatening staff they used gentle redirection and accountability. Doctors try to manage meds as best as possible but it's so hard on a 14day PEC. Only criticism is that MDs couldn't give her more time for med adjustments and stability of mood. I know a lot of people have elder family members who go through mental health challenges but in this area? Have gone through a few with my loved one. Perimeter is okay too, very caring people but the physicians at Perimeter did not do as much as the physicians at Oceans have done! Out of several hospitals and mental health facilities the physicians at Oceans have been the only ones willing to treat her mental challenges by observing and watching. Making changes through medication management and obverving again. Beacon team in Metarie are amazing (ask for Katherine). But AVOID BEACON IN LACOMBE!!! They will put your loved one in an unsafe discharge situation. Avoid social worker Shaun. Oceans? They would never do that. It's not 5 star, but take it from someone who definitely understands family/ patient challenges-- Have faith in Oceans. They will surprise you.
