Springfield Wellness Center is the first step that God led me to discard my old ways and build a new way of life. I have complete Gratitude for this clinic and more importantly Dr. Paula and the whole staff at Springfield Wellness Center. Nurse Angela is exactly what her name means an angel and messenger from God and a great nurse too. All the nurses fit this same description they were comforting, extremely attenuative, and calmed my anxiety as well as make me smile which was not easy for me at that point in my life. I entered the treatment close to death and saturated with Alcohol I left 10 days clean. I did follow with IOP treatment and embraced the AA fellowship program and today by the Grace of God and his will I am 4 months and 10 days clean of any harmful substance. Springfield Wellness Center is a special place, the grounds, facilities, food, NAD treatment, most of all the people that are there. I am blessed to have started my new journey there and highly recommend their program of care. I hope that I will be able to revisit in the future for NAD boosters.

I can not say enough about Springfield wellness center..... Starting with the help, and guidance prior to coming to the facility, followed by the time at the facility during the treatment. The staff makes you feel like family, their open arms make this experience be on a level no other places offer. It welcomes the whole family, with support, and years of wisdom each person has. It feels like a home away from home. A support system that will always be there for all. I could go on and on. It is a 5 plus star I can guarantee you.

This facility is excellent. Group therepy with some individual meetings. Very comfortable acomadations and good food. Staff is AMAZING. Most of them are in recovery themselves; so they really understand what your going through. Excellent councilors as well. These people will go out of there way to help you through your journey

4.5 rating. Love the people who care for Veterans here. Appointment scheduling is mixed depending on medical needs. I've been seen either early or right on time for most appointments. Looking forward to new clinic location, whenever it is completed. This location is an older facility but generally good.

I went here for 7days a year ago and it was very good and nice in side nice staff I was in unit d. And they cared for us and let us watch movies and we all just got along with each other in there it felt like I had a real family for that one time and now im up thinking about how are my friends doing that was in there and how is the staff. i came in at the worst spot in my life and came out at the best. the social workers talk to you a lot and pay attention to everything so they can get you the right treatment, and most of the staff were always helpful and kind. the food was pretty meh but what do you expect. and if you really pay attention to the groups that you do throughout the day, some of them can really help you open up. just be honest and respect the staff and you’ll be good. also, if ms errolyn or ms trish is in your day shift, you’ll love them.

I highly recommend Baarts Clinic in Hammond. Megan,Shelby,Preston, and Chad are the best at treating you with respect and with kindness. They all are consistently outstanding, exceeding health care the way it is suppose to be in all clinics. I am completely impressed with their professionalism and their caring nature. This is the only clinic I've been to that truly treats you like a human being. They dont treat you like you're a criminal (like all other clinics) They listen, and truly care. I’ve lived in a bunch of different sober living houses in Lafayette and journeys house by far had the most structure and was the most serious about recovery. When I lived in Oxford the house manager tried to sell me weed the day I moved in, the day I moved into journey house me Chris got me a job and got me to IOP and a AA meeting. After my granddaughter was admitted to Riverplace, I was nervous and skeptical about her stay. After speaking with the nursing staff, I wanted to speak with someone in Administration, and I had the opportunity to speak with Joshua, the CEO. He assured me that she would be in good hands. After her discharge, she shared that they treated her like family and made her feel very safe and comfortable throughout her stay. Idk what all these people’s problems are with the 1 star but I’ve been going here for years and have never had a problem. Staff at the front desk are always pretty nice. The only thing I’ve had an issue with was sometimes the appointments run late so I’m waiting in the waiting room a while but I feel like that’s how doctor appointments can be with mental health anything can come up. But ever since coming here it’s been the easiest to get my medications that I need on the daily and they do seem to care unlike what some people have said. The lady that left a review about them “calling” ICE, maybe you should have proper documentation and you wouldn’t feel that way.

At this place, no one cares if you get your meds on time or not. The only good thing here is about three nurses, who do all they can, but their work is not enough, they do as much as they can. This center is a joke, the worst clinic ever!

NOLA Detox was the only place that made me feel like I was actually going to make it this time!! The love and support they offered was amazing! Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I left Narconon in September of 2022. I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family. Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members. This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve. From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives. The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself. I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias. Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1? Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to. This place only means to help!

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I had some good times at this place. It’s definitely not one of the most generous, well-stocked, amenity-laden or pedagogical facilities out there but most of the staff are amazing and *really* care about the clients. They allowed me to set up my guitar, amp, PA, etc. in one of their meeting rooms and play/sing songs for them after the morning meetings. They were pretty reasonable letting me work as many hours as I wanted (within reason) even allowing me to stay out past midnight on several occasions. They DID make me stop going to Planet Fitness after work because I got “pulled over” on my bicycle in Metairie and my backpack searched and I had to call them and let them know I was gonna be late which drew attention to it. The “long-term” facility on Tonti St is in a really old, house-like building that used to be some kind of home for “colored” old folks (Google the history if you’re interested—it’s there). It’s actually 5+ buildings taking up nearly half a block where the oldest part is the main building with most of the offices. There’s a mysterious 4th floor that is supposed to be inaccessible to clients used for storage but also a secret hideout.

Although I would like to add that New Orleans was like being at a 5 star hotel...the building ETC ..but they might be a little understaffed...the TECH's definitely do not have more than 2 hands & 2 feet & should be paid more.Bayou Vista..was like being at a Nice Motel ..but again they really do need more staff members or TECH's ON THE DAY SHIFTS & they should get paid more NO MATTER what their backgrounds are .. especially if they've been there for a while and provide loyalty.... PLEASE let's keep every suffering addict & their families in our PRAYERS & if they don't have a FAMILY..then ODYSSEY HOUSE will treat you like FAMILY...
