My son did the PHP followed by the IOP program. The change in him is night and day, my family couldn’t be happier. His clinician Tim C. was incredible. He was in consistent contact with me on our concerns, listened not only to my son but me as a mom and my other son as a brother and took all of our concerns and feedback into his sessions with my son. He helped my son work through not only the issues he was having but gave him the coping skills to tackle hard things going forward. We will miss him and the staff greatly. I wish high focus offered outpatient services to continue after the intensives end.

Dr Keith Wyche: I cannot say enough about Dr. Keith Wyche and the care he provided at CentraState Medical Center when I needed it most. He literally saved my life. After reviewing my EKG and blood work prior to a nuclear stress test Dr. Wyche acted extremely quickly and determined I was having a massive heart attack. What makes his actions even more remarkable is that I was experiencing no pain and didn’t feel anything was wrong. I later learned that my LAD Artery, commonly known as “widow maker” was 99% blocked. While everything was happening so quickly, Dr. Wyche took the time to reassure my daughter that he was going to take care of me. He immediately arranged for Dr. Patel to perform the procedure, and two stents were placed to restore blood flow. Dr. Wyche’s quick thinking, knowledge and decisive actions and compassion made an incredible difference. I will always be grateful to him for recognizing what was happening and acting so quickly. I am also extremely grateful for Dr. Patel for performing this procedure that saved my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Keith Wyche to anyone looking for a cardiologist. I truly believe I was in the right hands at the right time! Thank you Dr. Wyche, and Dr. Patel, and the entire team at CentraState Medical Center. I will always be grateful for what you did for me.

Not only did my family member got excellent care, the staff were highly proactive in keeping me informed every day, every step of the way. I am beyond grateful that staff from nursing and social work called me, as did the cardiologist. I live far away, yet felt as if I was on-site. What a relief to know the nature and attentiveness of the care being given, without my having to work to get information. They also created a thorough discharge plan to support the patient's continued progress.

I came in scared, vulnerable, lost everything and couldn't trust anyone. RCA had an environment that I could not understand how that much diversity could show so much love, and support to a person as broken as I was. Staff were gentle in a way that the truth of what needed to be said and heard could change my life. I was a person that said I would never go to a rehab or A.A. Today I am certainly blessed I began my journey with RCA in south amboy N.J. for they not only established a seed but gave me hope and loved me when I couldn't love myself

RCA has given me a chance of a new life! Not my old life! They prepare you to go into the world when you leave with tools on how to live sober and clean! It’s is a lifestyle and a new way to live. I came to RCA drinking and doing another drug 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and am now sober and clean for 3 years!!!

Today I am 5 years and 2 months sober. I thank God and Recovery Centers of American each and every day and night For a place like this, that has helped me and so many others recover from addiction. I would tell anyone that I know who is still sick and suffering that RCA is the place to go to get the recovery that they need. The environment is safe, clean an well organized. Five star care from beginning to end. My PACU RN, Lindsey P, was phenomenal! She explained everything thoroughly and provided excellent care. Also, Lyndsey my pre-op nurse was terrific as well. Thanks to Dr Dean Cindrario for a great anesthesia experience and of course my surgeon Dr Matthew Kaufman who has always provided me with excellent care and always makes me feel comfortable in his capable hands.

My husband had a vascular procedure and he and I were so impressed with the expert care he received from Dr. Litsky and his wonderful team: Sean and Angela. They each were competent and caring. Angela, especially, was uplifting as she took care of his every need in recovery. We were then escorted to our car by Marcus who had such a pleasant manner. We will return for another procedure soon and are confident that he will be in caring hands once again.

Amazing care while we waited to be transferred over to MSKCC main campus. We first went through ER and had the most amazing nurse take care of us, I wish I remembered his name. We then went over to the cancer wing of the hospital, which was beyond beautiful and the nurses there were beyond caring. Cauterization was done on liver in this hospital, procedure went well. Only thing was a doctor told that a stent was not possible for a blockage in the pylorus, which was not true, MSKCC doctor did tell us the opposite though. Either way, best patient care in the world. Thank you Riverview Medical Center nurses and doctors, for everything.

As a physician myself, this was surprisingly my first interaction/experience with Riverview Medical center. Our visit involved primarily dealing with the Same Day Surgery staff and everyone we encountered was top notch from visitor intake at parking to front desk staff in the Same day waiting area. Nurse Jackie was excellent in explaining everything she was about to do before she did which placed my mother at ease. Dr. Haggerty and the Anesthesiologist (apologies in forgetting the gentleman's name) arrived with smiles on their faces and were willing to answer any questions to further ease any anxiety my mother may have had about the day. During the process, I received text messages updating me on the day with my mother's progress. I waited in the coffee shop area and looked out at the river which was relaxing while waiting for the surgery to finish. Post op, my mother's care was managed by Nurse Rose who was just as bright with a smile on her face and very patient in helping my mother recover. She did not rush the discharge and made sure my mother was comfortable in feeling she could go home. Highly recommend the same day surgery team in this hospital!

I was at SOBA for 10 days, which included 7 days for detox. I had a wonderful experience at SOBA and left in a much better place than when I arrived. The entire staff from the Dr’s and nurses to the Tech’s and clinical team were extremely supportive as well as attentive to the patients needs. I can honestly say SOBA is a great place if you are looking to get SOBER!

My name is Steve and I am an addict. Those are the hardest words I think I've ever said in my life, but with Ocean Medical Services I can say that with confidence and complete acceptance. I have been a drug user for 20 years now and I've tried other methods of recovery which simply didn't work for me. I am in their IOP, something I chose to do on my own volition due to needing to be close to home and from the moment I had my intake, I knew I had found "home". From Thea, Dan, Mike, Brian, Cat, Mary as well as a major shout out to the counselors Brayden, Jyllian and Deb (and I know I'm forgetting people), each and every one of them are so empathetic, caring and compassionate. They want to see me (and all clients) succeed. In just the short time that I've been here, I have learned more about myself besides my disease of addiction that I feel like I'm back in grade school absorbing all this information like a sponge. I couldn't brag more about this location so if you're an addict and you're in need of some help, PLEASE call or contact them. You'd me on the ride path of recovery.

Great place to get treatment with dignity and respect and great professionalism and no unnecessary Bureaucracy . The men and women who work in this facility have helped guide me into my healing journey during my recovery. Their supportive hearts, feedback, and encouragement was all it took for me to to feel very easy to feel safe and know you know you’re in good hands. I appreciate this place and I will always be grateful for their part in my process.

Aftercare started early. Left with a written plan, local meetings, and a crisis protocol. Still referencing it months later.

Getting there was low-key. Quiet area, easy parking, calm lobby. Didn’t feel intimidating walking in.

Money stuff was handled up front. Insurance check and cost breakdown before I started. No surprise bills later.

I was just there 8/2 - 8/7. All staff, nurses, mha's etc were awesome in helping me with my condition, the only negative things were more communication needs to be done for your loved ones at home that are not sure how you actually are and what your treatment plans are. Also some of the security officers at the front desk are rude and abrasive to family members trying to bring needed supplies as they're not sure what to do or where to go. Lastly when things are brought in to security it shouldn't take a full day to get it to you. I know they have to go through and inspect but procedures could be sped up

I have never been hospitalized before for mental health treatment and I hope never to be again, but the kindness and compassion the staff shared with me was so inspiring and humbling. The staff who cared for me in Short Term Care were all phenomenal, but Kelly and Jakob(sp?) stood out in particular. I came in to the facility with a horrible attitude after spending a terrible night at Community, and they turned me around. And the food was good! It sounds nutty to say I’m grateful for my time there, but I truly am.

I am currently at the hospital in the P.I.C.U. unit. When we got here to the ER. I had the pleasure of meeting and having Josie treat my son. She was absolutely amazing! Josie went well above her job duties to make my family welcomed and informed in detail about every step the we experienced. She is truly an angel sent from God to every patient at RWJ of New Brunswick NJ

On Labor Day, the hardworking staff of Robert Wood are laboring just so the hospital can operate smoothly. Nurse Chaka and Nurse Esther, Brianna are attending or attended to my mom recently and they are super pleasant, Nurse mahmood and tech jessica attended to my mom the previous day and they have good bedside manners. As I was exiting, I lost my ticket and the parking attendant Basit and Kandji handled things perfectly. I realized long ago that if you treat everyone and anyone with sincerity and respect no matter there background or position you will get far. Thank you. Sorry, if people are getting sick of me and my posts and update, but please google cancer vaccine this is what got me so hyped up. Also, Robin Y the receptionist was friendly on my way out as always. Update from week ago when Dr. Matilla talked to me about my moms condition. He was polite and and explained to me my moms condition so I could understand it in laymans terms. Some doctors do give off an impression of arrogance, but not this one. With 1 percent of hope god can and will do something for you if you recognize it. I have been Robert Woods Cheerleader sitting on the sidelines as they get to hard work everyday. I need to thank more of the parking attendants and valet. Next on the to do list. I see them sitting guarding the garage overnight sonetimes when i leave early or get something from my car. Honorable mention needs to go to Nurse Adam who first attended to my mom in the ER. He is a wonderful person who used to worked in the peace corps but now has a calling as very humble dignified nurse. Update: This is starting to feel like I am documenting the life of a nurse, tech, or hospital worker as I am here every day to see my mother. Sam is the nurse on duty and she seems nice enough…Robert wood has all kinds of nurses that perform all kinds of duties. Sam is one of the float nurses. As I go to grab my regular coffee in the refreshment room, I noticed Julie the day shift nurse is still here two hours past shift change…its labor day for gods sake! Laboring two hours past your shift on a holiday and of all days! Then, I bump into Nurse Martha and Nurse Nick as they both make it a point to ask me how my mothers condition is as they genuinely care about the status of her condition. Update: Tye and Brenda are night shift nurses that did not attend to my mother but they were pleasant conversation in the downtime of the night. They are there when you need them even if it is just for unit questions or to past the time away when I am visiting my mother. Nurse Sam and tech Maddie are polite and answer all my questions and are kind as can be. They do there normal duties without a hitch as my moms condition is steadily improving. Staff receptionist Maria greeted me with a pleasant demeanor and gave me another pass when I forgot my keys since I had already thrown away my other away on the way out. Update: Nurse Arian has got to be one of the most detail oriented and plesant nurses I have met so far. All the RNs are nice, but she really gives off positive and kind vibes moreso than any other nurse or tech. Update: Nurse Brady is attending to my mother. He is a male nurse and I especially respect male nurses and techs. Brady has been very pleasant asking me if I need anything. Nurse Deandra, Nurse Joyce and Tech Brenda are doing their duties and as always asking the status of my mothers condition and refilling low stock in the room of supplies. I thought I would leave my review as is, but I had to mention Nurse Johanna. She spent a good 20 minutes trying to fix the position of my mothers pillow just so my mom would not drool and wake up with a stiff neck. Nurse Octavia and Nurse Michael were pleasant during the day and so was Nurse Sage and tech Adwoa. I also wanted to mention the hard work overnight of Nurse Silvia, Nurse Tatiana, and Nurse Deandra when my mother had an episode the other night. Update: Nurse Andrew and tech Rachel have excellent bedside manners. Tech Aklya finishes her duties right before shift changes.

I wrote a good review for the Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center and I will do the same for floor 5 north in Robert Wood. I want to begin my mentioning this quote from a nurse I overheard while at the hospital. She said, “ I am not everybody or a nobody, but I am somebody”. Only a humble hardworking nurse would say something like that. In contrast to celebreties who love the attention because they are lacking something within their soul. I know the soul of a blue collar worker. I also am not everybody, definitely not a nobody, but I sure as heck am a somebody. Liz S. always greets me with a smile and always makes me feel welcome when I am visiting my mom for stage 4 lung cancer. The following staff have also been wonderful: Nurse Deandra, Sage,Jem,Paulina, Johana,Tatiana, Carmelli,and nurses Melina, Nick, Eugina, Jeremey,LJ and Sylvia, Mecca, Felicia, Miggie,Thelma and tech Fatima, Radiyah, tech Kiki, tech Nicole, Mya, John, Maddie, and tech Emanuel and Rollinsky and Rhea and tech Shy, and also security officer Joshua S. and officer Joel and receptionist Robin Y. On top of it all, I hear that they might have discovered a vaccine that destroys cancer from Moderna and I am just floored. Thank you Robert Wood…and for those that are suffering from cancer or have loved ones going through cancer please google Cancer Vaccine, it will give you alot of hope! Update: My mom is still trying to get through her infection and Eeg specialist Rahman is hard at work. I also finally found out the department that Dr. Meng who recently did a procedure that helped clear my mothers infection. He is a doctor from pulmonology. I do not want to take away from other patients at the hospital but, what I can say is if you wait and hang in there if you have cancer, I am pretty darn certain the cancer vaccine will fix you. It is in the works already for 10 different cancers but it could be coming in 2027 for mylenoma. I pray to god for all patients at the hospital because it works. I just know and it used to be blind faith but now it is real faith that is visible in the compassion of the hospital and its staff, also the asian guy who rings up my meal from the cafeteria and the guy behind the counter with the delicious ziti. Update: Officer Jay kindly directed me to 5 north when my mother first stayed here. I could not find it. and Dawn, and Anna are so nice at the front desk. Nurse Lakisha has been asking about my mom all the time making sure she is feeling well and Nurse Colleen has had a rough day and well thats all to common for the life of a nurse, doctor, tech or healthcare worker. Tough work, but not enough recognition. Update August 31, 2026. Patricia in the light blue scrubs who was brought in from a different floor of the hospital had such a pleasant demeanor while answering phones. As humble as they are, she told me she does not work on 5 North, but I told her it does not matter because all the healthcare workers deserve recognition. In addition, Nurse Katelyn was passing by and I had not had the chance to mention her in this review, but I see her working while I am here and they are always tired and exhausted. I feel like all the staff deserve more respect considering this is probably one of the busiest hospitals in nj. Update: it is not as chaotic during the night time, so I had the chance to thank Nurse Joyce the first nurse to receive my mom on 5 north. Update: Nurse practitioner Sarah G. prescribed lopresser in combination with metodrine which seemed to do the trick for my mothers out of whack vitals. Thanks so much Sarah, I was so worried until you prescribed the right meds. I am running out of room so I will use my business account to give shout outs and prepare free meals to all the valet, security officers, and cleaning ladies and men All which are also blue collar workers and humble servants of the creator. (All this depending on how long my mother Has to be in the hospital. At Robert Wood Johnson, no one gets left behind.)

I never thought I needed to be in treatment until I came to Quantum. I’ve been in treatment centers multiple times and this was a whole other experience. Men and woman travel from across the country to seek help here and now I know why. 10 out of 10 and if I ever receive a phone call for help, Quantum is my recommendation every time.

I never have been to treatment before and this place was a wonderful experience. The staff and the community is really amazing and builds a strong sense of support in recovery. I traveled all the way from Oregon to be here and it was the best decision I made in my life and for my life.

This place is absolutely life changing, The staff are spectacular the facility is wonderful, Clean and well kept. We are treated with both kindness and respect. The individual care we get here truly makes me feel like I’m seen as an individual. This is a program I would highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in need of care. My time spent at Phoenix was so incredibly important to my mental health journey. The program I attended was structured around group sessions and also included learning about mental health topics. I found it to be extremely effective when working to reframe my own experiences. The therapists here are nothing short of amazing. Every day each one brought a level of positivity and support that was contagious. They kept the group sessions on track while providing invaluable insight into my own mental health. I highly recommend Phoenix to anyone looking to advance their understanding of mental health and the role it plays in their wellbeing. Thank you for the support Phoenix team!

Iam a stress care client for over 6 years I've experienced nothing but respect from the dr therapist fida is so much help and social worker james is the best social worker I've had since hes helped me accomplish many things that I've needed to get done with applying for my housing when it comes to summit my paperwork applications for me after printing them and me filing them out he's has helped with all my transportation needs when it comes to important mail being notarized and mail and has set me up with food delivery from stress care every two week. I want to thank all the receptionist for being polite while assisting me during phone calls for my therapy appointments and medication and behavioral services Victoria and Natasha especially.

My experience here has been great, so far! The staff has been friendly and helpful. They provide both in person and telehealth calls. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse! The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. I can only speak to my experience with the staff, my Dr I've been had since starting, and my social worker stress cares provides to help you, even if just for a ride.

My Case Manager has bent over backwards to help me my counselor my therapist everyone has been awesome and very professional

It took a little bit with my insurance provider to find a decent facility to help with my psychological shortcomings, then I was paired with Preferred. Once there, it took a bit to be paired with a therapist who I was really able to relate with. That said, my therapist has been a great Blessing, and really cares. After asking a few well pointed questions, I found out that they have a job placement service as well. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I'm very Blessed to be in such good hands.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND
