Five star care from beginning to end. My PACU RN, Lindsey P, was phenomenal! She explained everything thoroughly and provided excellent care. Also, Lyndsey my pre-op nurse was terrific as well. Thanks to Dr Dean Cindrario for a great anesthesia experience and of course my surgeon Dr Matthew Kaufman who has always provided me with excellent care and always makes me feel comfortable in his capable hands.

My husband had a vascular procedure and he and I were so impressed with the expert care he received from Dr. Litsky and his wonderful team: Sean and Angela. They each were competent and caring. Angela, especially, was uplifting as she took care of his every need in recovery. We were then escorted to our car by Marcus who had such a pleasant manner. We will return for another procedure soon and are confident that he will be in caring hands once again.

My name is Steve and I am an addict. Those are the hardest words I think I've ever said in my life, but with Ocean Medical Services I can say that with confidence and complete acceptance. I have been a drug user for 20 years now and I've tried other methods of recovery which simply didn't work for me. I am in their IOP, something I chose to do on my own volition due to needing to be close to home and from the moment I had my intake, I knew I had found "home". From Thea, Dan, Mike, Brian, Cat, Mary as well as a major shout out to the counselors Brayden, Jyllian and Deb (and I know I'm forgetting people), each and every one of them are so empathetic, caring and compassionate. They want to see me (and all clients) succeed. In just the short time that I've been here, I have learned more about myself besides my disease of addiction that I feel like I'm back in grade school absorbing all this information like a sponge. I couldn't brag more about this location so if you're an addict and you're in need of some help, PLEASE call or contact them. You'd me on the ride path of recovery.

I was just there 8/2 - 8/7. All staff, nurses, mha's etc were awesome in helping me with my condition, the only negative things were more communication needs to be done for your loved ones at home that are not sure how you actually are and what your treatment plans are. Also some of the security officers at the front desk are rude and abrasive to family members trying to bring needed supplies as they're not sure what to do or where to go. Lastly when things are brought in to security it shouldn't take a full day to get it to you. I know they have to go through and inspect but procedures could be sped up

I have never been hospitalized before for mental health treatment and I hope never to be again, but the kindness and compassion the staff shared with me was so inspiring and humbling. The staff who cared for me in Short Term Care were all phenomenal, but Kelly and Jakob(sp?) stood out in particular. I came in to the facility with a horrible attitude after spending a terrible night at Community, and they turned me around. And the food was good! It sounds nutty to say I’m grateful for my time there, but I truly am.

My son did the PHP followed by the IOP program. The change in him is night and day, my family couldn’t be happier. His clinician Tim C. was incredible. He was in consistent contact with me on our concerns, listened not only to my son but me as a mom and my other son as a brother and took all of our concerns and feedback into his sessions with my son. He helped my son work through not only the issues he was having but gave him the coping skills to tackle hard things going forward. We will miss him and the staff greatly. I wish high focus offered outpatient services to continue after the intensives end.

I've been bringing my dad here for the last three years and everyone couldn't be nicer! Audio dept. is great. Front desk, friendly and answered all our questions. Not sure why some negative reviews were given, but I noticed it many were during Covid. Perhaps they were short on staff.

GenPsych helped me tremendously. It was my first time seeking help for my disease and before attending the sessions there I didn’t even recognize that I was addicted. I am now in an ongoing program of recovery and am very thankful for their role in that choice. My counselor, Brielle, was excellent. All the therapists were understanding and insightful. Ande was not only helpful but very supportive and forced me to look at things from a different perspective which was vital to me moving forward. I cannot say enough wonderful things about GenPsych and the incredible people who work there. Walking through their doors was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my mental health and recovery. I came in during one of the most difficult periods of my life, and I left with hope, practical tools, and a renewed belief that healing is possible. Every member of the staff treated me with kindness, compassion, dignity, and genuine respect. I never felt like just another patient. I felt heard, understood, and cared for by people who truly love what they do. They created an environment where it was safe to be vulnerable, to face difficult emotions, and to work on becoming a healthier version of myself. I especially want to recognize my therapist, Deidra. She is truly exceptional. Her patience, insight, compassion, and ability to listen without judgment helped me more than I can adequately express. She challenged me when I needed it, encouraged me when I felt discouraged, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. She has a remarkable gift for helping people see possibilities in themselves that they may not be able to see on their own. I also want to recognize Magdalena, the physician assistant. Without exaggeration, she is the best psychiatric provider I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to truly understand me instead of simply treating symptoms. She listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and worked with me to find the right treatment plan. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being gave me tremendous confidence throughout my recovery. I always felt that she was invested in my healing, and that made all the difference. What impressed me most about GenPsych is that everyone works together as a team. From the therapists to the medical providers to the support staff, you can feel that they genuinely want every patient to succeed. Recovery isn’t easy, but having people like this walking beside you makes the journey far less overwhelming. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, or other mental health challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend GenPsych. Asking for help is one of the hardest things a person can do, but this is a place where you will be met with compassion instead of judgment and encouragement instead of criticism. My sincere hope is that I never have to return because that would mean I continue living the healthy life they helped me build. But if life ever brought me back, I would do so with complete confidence and gratitude, knowing I would once again be surrounded by an extraordinary team of caring professionals. Iam a stress care client for over 6 years I've experienced nothing but respect from the dr therapist fida is so much help and social worker james is the best social worker I've had since hes helped me accomplish many things that I've needed to get done with applying for my housing when it comes to summit my paperwork applications for me after printing them and me filing them out he's has helped with all my transportation needs when it comes to important mail being notarized and mail and has set me up with food delivery from stress care every two week. My experience here has been great, so far! The staff has been friendly and helpful. They provide both in person and telehealth calls. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse! The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. I can only speak to my experience with the staff, my Dr I've been had since starting, and my social worker stress cares provides to help you, even if just for a ride.

It took a little bit with my insurance provider to find a decent facility to help with my psychological shortcomings, then I was paired with Preferred. Once there, it took a bit to be paired with a therapist who I was really able to relate with. That said, my therapist has been a great Blessing, and really cares. After asking a few well pointed questions, I found out that they have a job placement service as well. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I'm very Blessed to be in such good hands.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr Keith Wyche: I cannot say enough about Dr. Keith Wyche and the care he provided at CentraState Medical Center when I needed it most. He literally saved my life. After reviewing my EKG and blood work prior to a nuclear stress test Dr. Wyche acted extremely quickly and determined I was having a massive heart attack. What makes his actions even more remarkable is that I was experiencing no pain and didn’t feel anything was wrong. I later learned that my LAD Artery, commonly known as “widow maker” was 99% blocked. While everything was happening so quickly, Dr. Wyche took the time to reassure my daughter that he was going to take care of me. He immediately arranged for Dr. Patel to perform the procedure, and two stents were placed to restore blood flow. Dr. Wyche’s quick thinking, knowledge and decisive actions and compassion made an incredible difference. I will always be grateful to him for recognizing what was happening and acting so quickly. I am also extremely grateful for Dr. Patel for performing this procedure that saved my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Keith Wyche to anyone looking for a cardiologist. I truly believe I was in the right hands at the right time! Thank you Dr. Wyche, and Dr. Patel, and the entire team at CentraState Medical Center. I will always be grateful for what you did for me.

Not only did my family member got excellent care, the staff were highly proactive in keeping me informed every day, every step of the way. I am beyond grateful that staff from nursing and social work called me, as did the cardiologist. I live far away, yet felt as if I was on-site. What a relief to know the nature and attentiveness of the care being given, without my having to work to get information. They also created a thorough discharge plan to support the patient's continued progress.

I had a great experience at Maryville. I mean people think that treatment centers are 5 star hotels and don’t remember that this a rehab center where it’s about focusing on urself and becoming a better person as you are reintroduced into life as a functioning member of society. From both Dons, who really were incredible men and I could tell that that truly cared about me. Legal don even made a point to tell my family that I am a good person and asked my gf to take care of me and that showed me that I cared. Counselor Jen cares and truly cared about my well being. She might have been upset I was leaving but still went out of her way to help me with after care. Helped me see my true potential and gave me a lot of good advice and I could feel that she cared about my long term success and again was upset I was leaving but understood why and believed in my after care and it was awesome to have a counselor who cared and than the counselor in training Mike prayed with me and prayed for me. Brought me to tears. Young man Deandre has a bright future in this field. Ozzie and Chris were incredible public speakers and got my emotions going and even the ladies Nicole and the entire crew were incredible to me and wished me the best on my exit. The nurses were great. Heidi and Carolyn were some great nurses and the food was great for rehab food. Ya it’s not perfect but i really believe they helped me and the entire staff wanted me to be better and kick this thing called lives ass. I thank them all. My experience at Pemberton was a good one! I was there for short term. The staff really do care about helping you to stay clean and sober! I learn so many new things about myself. My counselor ( Mrs Jennifer) , helped me so much when I wanted to give up! Also Mr Chris (CIT) was a great mentor to me! 52 days clean and sober. Also Thanks to Ms Wali, Cassandra, Ashley and Nicole!

I apologize for missing anyone. I have never seen such team work in care, including covering each others break & popping in to tell me so & see if i needed anything. The response to my needing help when I pushed the call bell was quick and with a smile & willingness to help. The food was hot & flavored nicely, especially the salmon. I had some nice strolls in the hall ( I was a fall risk) with my husband & PCT Kevin who was so nice & helpful. Even security when we checked in 6:15 9/21 was so helpful, kind & cheerful. Everyone in the OR prep for my surgery & for my post op sigmoidoscopy was efficient & kind. Oh & I should mention, I know excellent care as a retired nurse of 50 years plus. Place is excellent, reception, nursing ETC. only problem is revolving door of counselors, which I understand. All things considered it’s a very good place if that’s what you need.

This place is absolutely wonderful they were very patient and taller than me when I wasn't ready to hear the message and pay attention but now that I found another solution to my addiction and alcoholism this place has been a key factor and contributor to completely changing every aspect of my life without this place and without a mat program and without the staff that works here I would be probably dead but we're definitely lost

I want to begin by saying my counselor Julia , Julia is very attentive and gives full focus on what needs to be focused on . Julia makes it feel more like a friendly environment more than your average text book counseling which I find very comforting. I have been to treatment several times throughout my lifetime and for the first time I feel like I’m actually doing something with my recovery. I actually look forward of going and having my sessions with Julia . You can actually feel the attention Julia gives she caring and pays close attention on whatever you need help with . My sessions with Julia do not feel like I’m sitting with someone listening to my issues for a paycheck you get that sense of talking to someone really does care. Take it from a 42 year old that has been in many rooms and always feeling a sense of not belonging. I’m glad this time around I met Julia as my counselor and I really couldn’t be more grateful to have her treating my issues I never thought feeling so good about counseling existed. I couldn’t be any happier with the treatment with Julia. It actually feels like I’m talking with a friend that I’ve known forever.

To validate this statement. I will say in the 19 years I have been involved with mental health facilities, addiction, treatment centers, and state psychiatric services. At times being employed by and other times as a patient. By far the counselors that break their tail every day for their patience to have a positive outcome and fair shot at a good life. Is second to none. In tandem with their psychiatric services and on the ball medication treatments. The only response in what they do for their patients, Is first class, five stars all around every time. I can only speak for myself, but I had to make a commitment to their recommendations, accept the truth about what got me there, stop making excuses sound like reasons and put in sincere work. If you’re fortunate enough to work with Steve H. You can expect someone who fully understands where you’re coming from, has solution based approaches to complex situations, has always been on point, several steps ahead of me. Out of sincere conviction and authentic heart for my well-being. How many people out there really show up for somebody like that in life…. Danielle, Marla, Laura, Alonzo, Jackie, Michael, are just a few of the refined superstars. I have been fortunate enough to have my back and best interests at hand without any self interest or personal gain. If you’re looking to stop making excuses into reasons and show up for yourself in this affliction, many of us struggle to survive. Give yourself a shot and you’re in the right place here. We are worth it!
