We stayed here for a few days to get some much-needed time away. This is a great place for an individual retreat, couples, or even whole groups! The room was warm, clean, and bright. The views of the lake as autumn leaves fell and ducks swam was beautiful as we ate breakfast. The grounds and trails provided many places to stop, pray, and reflect. The common area had puzzles, games, and books for anyone to use. There were multiple places to sit, relax, and either enjoy some conversation or just be alone. Adjacent to the common area there is a small room with vending machines providing snacks, sodas, coffee, and tea. The breakfast in the dining area was excellent! The only complaint we have is that it will feel like too long before we can return again!

This is the third company I've used. The 1st 2 were awful - if anything, they worsened my situation.
This place is exactly what I needed.
Everyone is easy to get a hold of and they do what they're supposed to do - help.
Christen at the front desk is great - she takes care of a lot by herself.
If she's unable to help, she let's my counselor know ASAP.
That brings me to her - Christy.

My mom had to go to the community two weeks ago. What an incredible turn around that hospital has gone through. The nurses and doctors were very attentive. They called in a doctor and did surgery in the middle of the night. They kept a nurse stationed outside my mom’s door in the er all night. Do not send your child here. I was a patient on the C1 unit for 12 days. While i was here i saw multiple mice and countless fruit flies. there is mold on the ceiling in the shower of room 109. Although the groups were somewhat helpful, it was dirty.

This Establishment is no Place for a Addict to recover. They have no disciplinary action steps. Other then blackout. That is vaguely effective! They need some other disciplinary actions. A chart. Rewards. A calm room. Actual mental health crisis counselors that CARE!!!
They have no ordnance for the people. Narcotics are allowed. Suicidal thoughts aren’t taken seriously. Fights can happen and put others in Danger. Other people will take your stuff. You have no space here. No schedule. Its a Shelter. THIS IS NOT REHAB. Shelters do N/A Shelters Do AA. The people here are not lifted up. This place needs Structure! & More security! Nobody should be playing House! It puts a pin on individuals in a hostile Situation!

I normally have okay time and usually walk out healthy. Not in this case.
I don’t have any expectations of anyone here so I start from a clear slate
I did however, have an awful time emotionally and physically.
“Washington” a 5’5 bigger Hispanic guy assigned on the second floor was assigned to be my nurse.
Right off the bat he asks weird questions about my personal life and says my ethnicity was “weird”
He also shoved zofran in the iv without patience, when normally it takes 2-5 minutes so the patient doesn’t feel dizzy or nauseous!
Looking at my phone and making weird comments / also asks my friend on the phone if she could help me get home. How insulting and rude is that to ask a random stranger that sort of favor. Very strange guy
Discussing with other nurses/ coworkers about MY health and my experience and manipulating words I was saying
Involves himself in situations where he isn’t needed (ex: when asking about my transportation, claims “why I can’t just figure it out” and asks for personal non health related questions

Mid conversation when discussing future health plans, walks out and says he’s frustrated. Welcome to the health care community buddy you aren’t built for it and I strongly recommend that he finds another profession that’s more suited for him. I wouldn’t recommend him for children nor adults.

The great outweigh the frustrations.
The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life.
The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery.
For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

Did some tests recommended by my doctor for a problem I had the tech that I was speaking with didn’t know I had a medical background but she was so detailed oriented I was impressed we even found things I was not expecting of course was a bit nervous looking at my own scans but to be honest I am just glad we have something near by to go to.

Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I have all good things to say about this program. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. Of course every place has their flaws, however I've never met a staff that truly cared so much for the patients. This isn't a job to them its a way of life. From the techs, to clincial staff, therapist and the higher ups. Nothing during my time there fell on deaf ears. Id advise anyone coming to treatment there to swallow your pride and be open and listen. A brief background of myself, im very opinionated and strong willed so of course I knew everything or at least I thought I did. The staff here really did everything they could to reassure me over and over that I can get better. I just needed to get out of my own way. They were 100% correct. The techs always made me feel like this wasn't a house it was my home. People like Andy, Melanie, Leigh Ann, Amethyst, Jose, Stan and of course my OG Allison have always shown me that mine and my fellow housemates best interest was always top priority. Their stories and generosity is truly inspiring. I never felt judged or unwelcome They really care about each and everyone of us. They may be on the ground floor regarding job titles but they definitely are the foundation that keeps this facitly standing. The clinical staff such as Max, Morgan, Curtis, Michelle, MK, their doors are always open when needed. Whether they're running groups or plugging away in their offices they are always willing to stop and listen in the time of need. They too along with the techs are going to be your biggest cheerleaders towards a better life a sober life. While you will notice vast differences in some of their approaches PLEASE keep your ears open because they all reached me in different ways even though I didn't see the value they offered right away. Collectively, its a excellent group to learn from. While my time with Alex a therapist was limited it was very insightful and gave me a different way to see things that definitely resignated with me. As for my personal therapist Jackie, she was amazing. Her door was always open whether it was to pop in an say hi when I needed to vent or just shoot the breeze. Our sessions together allowed me to open up to a point I never had before. Even during her groups she may come off fun and playful, but there is a method to everything. Last but certainly not least, listen to your peers in those rooms. They come from all different backgrounds, gender, race age etc. They offer true wisdom and real life experiences. I personally never met a sober addict that didn't light up a room. These people will teach you more than you could imagine if youre willing to listen and do the work. Ill leave you with this, all of the above comes from someone who has been to 2 detox, 3 other rehabs, never lasting more than 6 total days. Banyan and their staff and clients made me feel at home while I battled through and not for a second did I ever feel alone while I was there. My goal now is to get my life back and whether it happens or not is upto me and me alone but Banyan gave me the tools I need to have a fighting chance, so thank you.

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

From South Amboy complex to Aberdeen and on and off for 15 years but consistently with these nurses and counselors for past 6 years. I've done the work with cooperation from staff and IOP. Have achieved trust, a house, a car and newly married! MAT some frown upon but it REALLY does work others! You'll get out what you put in to your recovery!

I am taken back at the total difference of this clinic to the pinnacle clinic in middletown NJ this clinic is clean and they treat you like a human it is quiet there not like middletown where they all stand around screaming at each other the punishments are different middletown if you are out 3 days you lose your bottles here you have 2 days after that your 3rd day you lose 1/2 your dose you have 10 days to get it back if your absent 4 days you lose 75%of your dose and 5 days you see doctor no stress here not like middletown. This is a very serene place
