I went to RCA three years ago, and I can honestly say they saved my life. When I arrived, I was completely consumed by my addictions and had no idea how to climb out. This place gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to rebuild myself from the inside out. The staff truly cares. They don’t just treat you, they teach you. I learned coping skills, accountability, and how to face life without numbing everything. They helped me understand my patterns, break them, and replace them with healthier habits. Even now, years later, I still use what I learned there. I walked in broken and walked out with hope, clarity, and a future. If you’re struggling and you’re ready for real change, this is the place that can give you your life back. I’m forever grateful.

RCA is an excellent facility for recovery great counselor Chris. 3 plus year alcohol free and living a good life .

The great outweigh the frustrations. The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life. The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery. For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

The doctors and help is outstanding. Since President Trump redid the VA system it is now top tier.

Tonight I was with a family member in the emergency room and would like to express my thanks to the staff who were not only professional, but were compassionate and kind. I believe the nurse who was there first was Alicia, whose shift was ending at 7p.m. and there was also Joann. Both of these women are a true blessing to any patient that needs emergency treatment.

My father was brought into the ER with a heart issue. The staff were amazing! Everyone worked diligently to stabilize his condition and make him comfortable. His stay was extended a few days and stents were needed. The nursing staff in the step down unit were absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Erin, Nicole, Haley, Jen, Dion, Jess, Amy and Jolyn!

I was really surprised on how nice and professional all the staff are. This is a great VA hospital with staff that staff that really cares.

The VA gets a bad rap but the people make it good. The system is tough to work with but like I said all the workers, from janitors to Doctors and nurses make it bearable.

Serenity is a well put together program. Knowledgeable staff who actually share their experiences with you giving you proof it really does work if you work it. It's not all roses but what program is. I recommend it to anyone who is serious about recovery. I love the fact that your progress after your stay is checked on by a professional who cares. Thanks Serenity.

I spent 21 day at Summit in Union NJ. From the moment I arrived at Summit I was treated with respect and compassion that was constant throughout my stay and even now they reach out to me on a weekly basis. Everyone from the intake personal .. the techs.. the nurses the docs the counselors and housekeeping .. were incredibly patient .. caring..professional ..just all out wonderful people. God bless them. With their help I was able to start a new life. A life far from perfect but 100 percent real. The things i learned there are profound. They cannot cure addiction but if you are an addict with an open mind who is honest and willing to change...? Serenity is a very good starting point. If you have an open heart it helps as well. My miracle took off at Serenity..my new life started at Serenity..if you are an addict? Don't expect a miracle... be the miracle.. that is up to YOU.

Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. I was genuinely disappointed to learn that Chris is no longer working at Relevance. my experience at relevance was great and thoroughly helped me in my mental health journey. the community of people that is built here helps you grow so much as a person and the clinicians/staff are incredible. All of the clinicians are so knowledgeable and helpful in managing anything you’re going through and it’s a beautiful environment to learn new skills to regulate your emotions and thoughts. I would highly recommend.

I can to Relevance feeling discouraged and hopeless. Throughout my time here I’ve learned a lot about my self and my ability to overcome. I am so grateful for Relevance! I am actually in a good place in my life. When I first got here I did not think I could be happy but I am. The staff is great. They truly care about me and my success. This was the best decision I could have ever made for myself and the best place to have had it. The care I received while going through detox was absolutely incredible. This facility has onsite medical professionals 24/7 to help assist you with whatever needs your facing. The staff are all great people and the director Mike is such a good person. If you’re ready to have a fresh start and get you back then this is the place to go.

College Recovery's long term model, and slow integration back into society are what make it stand out from other treatment centers. They don't through throw you out to the street after 30 days like many treatment centers, they will carry you until you learn to carry yourself.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people I met at Soba.. from the nurses "Julie" and all the techs staff. They are an amazing group of people.. this place really knows how to do it. It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. "Thanks Mike "I can't really get into it here but he gave me advice that I will carry always. I'm so glad that I went to soba. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and I can't thank them enough. If you or a loved one need help with this Disease. I promise you that you will not regret trusting this professional group of people.its a small group of people I think I had 7 other patients besides myself. So the level of care is perfect.im clean and im staying clean and my goal is to help people. Even its just one person thats all it will take to satisfy me. I will keep in touch with the others from my group so we can empower each other because that is the right way to remain sober for ourselves and our families. God bless soba.

Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

Supportive and non judgement staff at Brentwood location. Very clean and group sessions were great. They truly make you feel like a human being a person. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best facility and most caring people I’ve ever come across. Shout out to everyone at the nurses station for holding it down for me when I was at my lowest. I am not a fan of any facility whatsoever but these guys genuinely do it right. Can’t thank y’all enough. Best nursing staff ever

High Focus came into my life at the right time. I was really hurting and dealing with major depression due to some tough life circumstances. High Focus gave me my life back. Their staff was so welcoming and kind. My clinician Taylor was so incredibly helpful and challenged me in all the right ways to get the growth I needed out of the programs. The groups were educational, foundational, and very easy to understand. I leaned so much in my time there. I couldn't recommend High Focus enough to anyone struggling. If you put in the work, High Focus can work for you! :)

I just want to say that if you have any trauma, anxiety, depression or addiction issues please do yourself the favor and look into high focus for the mental health your seeking they are all amazing and the clients are all supportive and make you feel like your not alone... I would recommend high focus of freehold to any/everyone... you all help save me and words can not express that enough. THANK YOU

High Focus has been pivotal to my success in understanding, as well as coping with my mental health. I have gone through the program twice in 5 years and this time around was fantastic. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I can’t recommend high focus enough to those out there who are struggling mentally. I’ve been through Princeton house prior, and High Focus is far and away the best program around.

The nurses here are the best.

My father was recently admitted to the hospital and stayed in the Ackerman section on the 4th floor for 7+ days. I have to say that all the staff up there was exceptional. All the nurses, nurse techs, house keeping, nutrition, etc.. Anytime we had a question, they helped get the answer, they attended to my dads needs well. Thank you Matt, Marylen, Julianne, Niko, "Q" not sure how her name is spelled, but she was great! So many more but its hard to remember all the names.

I have worked with Discocery institute for years. I personally referred a dear friend recently and from their outreach team, to their clinical team to their nursing staff, everyone was so compassionate and helpful. Every experience I have ever had with them I left feeling so supported. If you are thinking of going to Discocery or looking into it for someone you love look no further.

I am a volunteer with a nonprofit sober living. A lot of our residents have been to Discovery Institute and maintained sobriety. A common thing I hear them say about Discovery is how cared for they felt. They were treated like humans. Highly recommend.

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after.. I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo

I have been going to Stress Care for a long time and they have helped me tremendously! My therapist is the best, she listens to my concerns, teaches me how to cope, gives me "key" words when I need them (to help with my depression and anxiety) and never ever puts me down for what I say. I find her very easy to confide in, sometimes I talk so much but she is very patient and listens until I finish. My doctor is also great! He also listens attentively, always asks how I am doing, any problems and I can ask him anything without being embarrassed. The receptionist always calls beforehand to remind me and confirm my appointments. Overall, this is a great place if you are serious about getting some mental help!

I came to Stress Care after the loss of my baby boy at 25 weeks pregnant. Nicole has helped me tremendously with my depression and anxiety. The book she suggested me to read is an easy read and is very insightful in coping and dealing with my terrible loss.

No problem was to big for your nurses and staff. The smile and honesty made me feel externally secure. The instruction were very thorough and understanding. Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization. Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day. People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!
