Alina Lodge has an incredible team and a truly welcoming, supportive environment. The staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping people succeed. You can tell there’s a strong sense of purpose behind everything they do. The program itself feels thoughtful, well-structured, and focused on creating real change. And such wonderful history behind the facility!!! It’s refreshing to see a place with such positive energy and people who truly care about the individuals and families they serve. Highly recommend!

My experience at Alina Lodge was truly life-changing. When I arrived, I was at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure if recovery was even possible for me. The staff, clinicians, and facilitators welcomed me with compassion, patience, and genuine care. From the very beginning, they created an environment where I felt safe enough to be honest about my struggles and begin the difficult work of recovery. The clinicians at Alina Lodge are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated. They helped me understand the underlying causes of my addiction and gave me the tools I needed to start rebuilding my life. The facilitators brought wisdom from their own experiences and guided our groups with empathy and understanding. Every day they showed up committed to helping each of us grow, even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. Thank you!

I have been coming to this location since the Mt.Pocono office was closed down. Ishima was my therapist at that site, and I make the drive to Allentown specifically to see her. In the three years I have been seeking treatment with Kidspeace, it's always been a positive experience. My reason for seeking treatment forced me to be very thorough in my looking into many different organizations and I can say I have made the right choice with Kidspeace.

The other reviews pretty much cover everything I’d want to say about Water Gap. Even though I relapsed soon after I completed the PHP/IOP program, I left in a clearly better state than when I came in. I thought my therapist (Bart) & psych (Dr. Gomez) were great advisors and caretakers for me establishing a meds / mental health foundation that has helped me keep afloat as I continue working at my recovery. The group therapists were generally great too, although many I had left while I was there or later. The food is decent & the rooms in the Inn are OK but quite nice at the lodge/houses. I generally liked the techs & nurses, although some were mediocre or worse with their efficacy, attitude, and how they treated the clients. Your experience with the other clients will vary dramatically and there will be lots & lots of drama since there are so many clients there living together. However I did make some closer acquaintances while I was there. They do a good job hosting events and entertaining you but not the best job at keeping clients safe from bad internal actors (aka other unstable & dangerous clients). Be very careful when you initially come in as different case managers, therapists, and psychs may not treat you nice or effectively or even have your best interests in mind (i.e. semi-arbitrarily kick out people / pressure people to stay longer who imo obviously should leave and/or try other treatment options). If you’re looking for inpatient treatment, WGW is a potentially good option to consider but judge what you’re getting into first and while you’re there so no surprises detail your recovery.

Pretty good. I don't think I'd want to do the long term sober house there but the ranch really rocks. The food is unreasonably good and the staff avoids ridiculous treatment plans (for me anyhow). I'm pretty sure some drama was going on there but you know, welcome to Water Gap
David Hudock

to put it simply: I loved my time at the WGW inn during the course of my treatment, the rooms and bedding were comfortable, the food was good, and there was a lot of activities to do at night if we didn't want to use our devices (which is allowed by the way!), and if we didn't want to stay in the inn, we were able to leave and go out to movies, food, etc, which was a big plus in my book! Only downside to it is that they will wake you up at 7am for groups and will keep coming into your room every 5-10 minutes to make sure you are up, and the techs will stand over you while you take meds, but you get used to it.

I successfully completed my program last week. The 35 days I spent there have not only saved my life, I also now, for the first time in 43 years, LOVE myself. My counselor, Lisa, helped me put faith in myself, which I never experienced before. All the techs where awesome to me, I'd like to shout out Helen. Everyday she put a smile on and that smile is contagious, at the same time she genuinely cared everytime she asked myself, or anyone else how they where doing, that means a lot to so many of us, that were in those rooms. I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

The cafeteria and meal service here is unmatched. I was nervous about being inpatient and not having options to meet my strict diet, but they worked with me to ensure that I not only had plenty of options, but great tasting food as well. One meal service, my little cup of ice cream was missing. Not a huge deal. But, on my tray was an apology card and an extension to call. When I called, and the person on the other line apologized profusely and said that they were out of that particular ice cream, but would be more than happy to bring me up a different one. Barely even 10 minutes later a smiling face was standing in my doorway with a little cup of ice cream. “Sorry about that, this is for you!” He said. It’s the little things here that truly make a difference and make something uncomfortable like an inpatient hospital stay into a comfortable experience.

Dear St. Luke's Hospital Administration, I am writing to share my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care my family receives at your hospital. My husband and I are parents of a non-verbal autistic child, and medical emergencies can be particularly challenging for us. During a recent emergency on July 24, 2026, your entire staff provided incredible care from the moment we arrived until the next morning. We always feel respected, heard, and confident that our child is receiving the best possible care. Despite the high-pressure environment, every employee and doctor we encountered was pleasant and professional. I would like to recognize a few individuals who went above and beyond, whether by checking on our needs, following up with us, or helping resolve an issue with obtaining my child's medication after discharge: - Dr. Adaola Onyenaka - Nurse Zachary Pattison - Nurse Ethan - Sarah Kiechel St. Luke’s is truly blessed to have them on staff. This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating. What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist. I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support. What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas. Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.) For anyone seeking treatment at Northeast Family Healthcare (1040 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951), whether for methadone or Suboxone treatment, know that you'll be in compassionate, capable hands. The entire team creates an environment where healing feels possible, even when you've struggled for decades like I had. I will deeply miss this facility and the incredible people who work there, especially Anna. They've set the standard for what quality, compassionate addiction treatment should look like.

I owe this place a big apology. I admit I manipulated a situation to fit my narrative without realizing how much harm my review has cost them ,their staff, and other recovering addict. Not only did I relapse after I ended up going to pyramid twice and didn't even bother to thank the directors of this place for giving me a 2nd opportunity to begin with. So since I'm in recovery now Im very greatful this place put me on the path to recovery and showed or taught me things about myself I never knew gave me an opportunity to become a better more self aware version of my self for that I'm grateful for places like this to keep their door open for addicts such as my self. If you feel this place did you wrong come that's due to addiction's perspective please I pray you get better and go again when the time is right and give a review when you are in a better more appropriate state of mind . I was selfish self centered and arrogant I no longer see from active addictions point of view . Please don't ruin this places reputation if it doesn't work for you because at least they keep the doors open to help anyone seeking recovery. Once again I'm grateful and I apologize for the mess I left behind I hope you guys accept this apology and may God bless yous all 🙏🏽. Love , Gabriel P

I only just got done with the intake phone call with Crystal, and I already feel like things are going to be better. If even half of the staff members at the facility I go to are as kind, professional and understanding as she was then I know that this will be a great experience

From the beginning with the ED nurses, Christina and Henry’s team effort to get my father stabilized and starting medications, labs and all of the tests. The care he received plus the patience with answering questions from my family, myself and explaining all the things he was going to have done was beyond what I expected. When he was moved to the PCU floor, the care continued to impress us. They treated my father like he was their own. Not only informing him of what was happening but what needed to happen. They took care of us all and I couldn’t be more grateful and thankful for them all. Zenia, Danielle, Barbara and Robin plus all of the nurses aids and physical therapy team. You are wonderful and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I spent 112 days there. Had fear when I couldn't stay no longer. But here I am still clean and doing well. I was more prepared then I thought when I left. Although my counselor knew...I was still hesitant. Today I do things that I put in place in my life while I was treatment trends. They helped me, encouraged me, and supported me. Thank you treatment trends.

I've never written a review for anything before but I know how difficult finding help can be as well as how difficult recovery can be and so I feel like it may help someone if I throw in my two cents. This place is amazing. Everyone there, literally every single person I have had interaction with there, has been wonderful. They are all friendly, non-judgmental and sincere. They started calling me by my first name after only a few visits. I went there after an truly awful rehab experience so I was braced for more difficulties but the staff makes everything as easy and comfortable as is possible, under the circumstances. I've gone being going there for several months now for medication and counseling/mental health therapy and it's been a great experience. Don't hesitate to go here or to send your loved ones here. Recovery can be rough but this place does everything in their power to make it as painless as possible. Just go into it with a good attitude and each day will be a little better than the day before til one day you'll realize that you are in a new and better place.
